Luis121667 Germination temperature ~ 22-24 degrees C.
Germination duration ~ 50 hours
For safety, I germinated 1 extra seed of both strains (2*Purple Sunset and 3*Shinigami) to avoid any risk. The germination rate is 100%, so I selected the seeds with the best development.
After that, the seeds were placed in 1L plastic pots. These were previously watered with 15% pot volume (150ml) using tap water (0.3 EC). The water was mixed with 33% strength of the feeding plan (grow b, grow a). This is completely sufficient for seedlings. Calmag (also Athena) was added at the lower dosage spectrum (according to the plan 0.8-1.3 ml/L). Since the coco substrate binds with calcium and it is not freely available, you need to give a bit extra, especially at the beginning. You can think of it like a sponge, and only when it is fully soaked is calcium available. Additionally, the water was tempered to 20 degrees and the pH value was lowered to 5.5.
Water values:
Tap water: 0.3 EC
7.2 pH
Watering water:
1.3 EC
5.5 pH.
20 degrees C
1.3 EC is a bit high but still within range.
The pots are at about 23-24 degrees C in the tent with a room VPD of 0.5-0.6, and the light is on for 24 hours until the seedlings come out of the substrate (then the first pictures will come).

Luis121667 The plants are showing generally healthy growth in the first few days. Ambient temperature is at 23-24 degrees C with a VPD of 0.6-0.7. Currently, the plants are getting about 200 PPFD and are watered every 3-4 days with light runoff (about 10-15% of pot volume). Runoff temperature and pH are a bit too high (22 degrees C and 6.2 pH), so watering continues with a pH of 5.6. The higher soil temperature is still within range and will automatically drop once there's more airflow in the tent (currently very little) and once watering happens more frequently. On day 5, the humidifier was out for 4 hours, causing the VPD to spike temporarily. The plants have recovered well from that, and aside from a bit of time loss, they are doing fine. Otherwise, there have been no notable events.
🌿✨ Very impressive grow! Your plants look strong, healthy, and well cared for 😍👏
Keep it up! I share my grow journey on YouTube too would love the support 💚📺🌱
