UncleJono I have officially moved these little ladies to their 1 gallon veg home. I am on a time crunch so these won't get a long veg like some journals so if you're curious to see how a short veg [1 month max] grow from seed turns out, stay tuned!
I am now watering with ph'd water with a little high N cal mag and wetting agent. 2ml/gallon is a very rough estimate as my current spray bottle is a quart or less. Will monitor how the plants respond, but so far so good.

RIP Strawberry Cough #1 - I think I destroyed the roots when I transplanted her. :(
Will probably take a weekly update approach to this going forward 👍🏾
From week 1 to week 2, I popped a lot of seeds - this is my first grow as an adult equipped with a budget, time, and patience [I dont count my high school and college aged grows lol] So I am learning as I go - my first hard lesson is that coco is just as punishing as it is forgiving, so maintaining proper stats from environment to nute solution is key. The reason I chose coco over soil was to keep things as clean as possible in my grow space. In the past, soil would increase my likelihood of pests and I wanted to avoid this as much as possible. In hindsight maybe soil and a solid IPM system would have been more forgiving... but I ain't no punk and I like to learn so let's master coco!
Maintaining VPD has been another thing I had to figure out - with my exhaust and humidifier, I am able to get .7 to 1 kpa during the day and .5 to .7 kpa at night with it sitting around .85 and .55 respectively.
GDP is still looking good and seems to take whatever I throw at her, no problem.
Permanent Marker is a little more finicky but still strong.
Platinum OG shows signs of strength and weakness in equal measure, im hoping the twisted leaf is something physical, not root related but we will see how it grows out!
The new strains in cups are all from Ground Up Genes except for the bag seed and purest indica [x4] from agseedco (Todd McCormick):
Sour D
Sunset sherbet
DoSiDos
Pineapple express[ x4]
Strawberry cough [x3]
These new seedlings give me more opportunities to fuck up so I won't feel so bad if I lose another one haha
Will feed newbies ph'd and/or cal mag water - bigger plants will receive 25% solution as needed supplemented with microbes every 3rd week or so.
Will gladly take any advice/pointers you have if youre following along!
Happy growing 2/10/26

UncleJono A couple days late but here are my update pictures from Monday. Things are becoming steady, the plants are beginning to show their vigor and I think I have the 12 final plants that will finish off the grow in mind. I will keep all 17 for another week or two until the rejected 5 are re-homed. Im not so worried about vpd anymore as the plants mature - i do live in a desert so I run a humidifier during lights on and my smart plug turns it off during the night to regulate VPD.
I do want to make sure my run off EC is on a good place -- some plants have very hot run off at the moment while the main three are just north of the recommended range. The plants seem healthy regardless so I will continue monitoring them and dial back the dosage as needed. My next big upgrades will be more lights [amazon has a deal on viparspectra p1000s rn so I am getting a pair] for a combined output of 300w and an automated drip irrigation system so I do not have to take an hour to feed/check/collect run off for all 17 plants. I will still need to hand feed some plants but most the of the heavy lifting will be automated.
Genetics that have really surprised me have been the purest indica and pineapple express. They are super eager to grow and seem to exhibit lots of vigor. If any of the purest indica turn out to be male, I will try to collect pollen so I can create a private seed stock, if Uncle Sam does indeed outlaw hemp seeds.
If anybody is reading this, thank you - i would love to hear from you in the comments. Suggestions/feedback are welcome as i am quite new to this
See you next week!

UncleJono Hello there! We are quickly approaching my prospective flip date (March 2- March 9)
In the meantime, I am very pleased with the growth if these plants. I have added two more p1000 lights to my tent - currently at 100% raised to the very top. Photone app shows the ppfd is appropriate :) I have also made a rudimentary irrigation system that is controlled with a smart plug that im am dialing in and testing out on the original plants and the bag seed I popped.
I tried feeding the big 4 plants with 80% solution but that caused slight burn on the leaves. I am currently feeding 50% to all plants as I noticed light green leaves developing on the other 9 plants in the tent when feeding them 25% solution.
Depending on how large they grow, this next log may be the last time you see these ladies in veg - if they have some headroom, I will let them grow out a bit as I am no longer under the time crunch I was initially.
All feedback, tips, pointers welcome!
See you guys next week!

UncleJono Hey all!
This past week was the last veg week for these ladies. They are now switching to a 12/12 light cycle and will be fed 100% jacks moving forward.
I spent this past week taking large leaves off the plants and training them with garden staples.
I took out the irrigation for now but will likely return to it after stretch.
I installed a SCROG net for canopy control during and after the stretch period and will likely install a second later in flower.
I am pleased with the plant's development so far - permanent marker is ultra bushy with lots of potential bud sites and GDP is still showing off
See you guys next week after a full week of 12/12 lighting!
Stay tuned for more journals 😉

UncleJono Hey Growmies, here is my log for the past week: flower week 1!
I have started feeding the plants 100% solution with a touch of cal mag and armor si during stretch. The ph does not need much adjusting now - falling within 5.8 to 6.0 easily. EC is in the high 1.8's but typically under 2.0
The plants had 4-6 inches of headroom beneath the scrog last monday - GDP and Bag Seed are now touching the screen today. The others are not far behind so I think the stretch is going week.
I did some defol the first two days of week 1 but am now resisting the urge until stretch is complete.
Plants were fed a light microbe mix with diluted jacks solution to close out week 1.
Upgrades to my setup this week include a new tent and t5 lights for seedlings and clones - I now have a two tent setup! There are currently some seedlings in the tent me and fiancé started
- if you guys want to see, I can start a new journal or include some updates on this one.
See you guys next week!

UncleJono Hey y'all!
This is how the girls look at the end of flower -week 2!
I tried my best to let them grow out but I did some light defol throughout the week, mainly on large leaves covering bud sites and to help with circulation on permanent marker.
Most of the plants are now touching the screen and branches can be tucked/manipulated as needed.
I began taking clones to help with canopy management and for genetic retention if they end up being great! So far 6 of 13 have been cloned.
I have moved on from Jacks 321 and will now add MKP to the mix and adjust the formula accordingly (2-2-1.2-2). The plants were fed this flowering formula yesterday (Sunday)
I am excited to see how these plants look at the end of this week. I was nervous going into this grow as this is pretty much my first grow of my adult life. I am still pretty nervous as I enter bloom and there are some things i would do differently (like this many plants in a small space...)
Thank you for everybody who has engaged with my diary so far! Any tips and feedback welcome!
See you guys next week!

UncleJono Whats up everyone?
Here is my report at the end of week 3 of flower!
I am now down to 12 plants in the tent because PE #1 showed signs of intersex. This is not a terrible loss as I have two other pineapple express plants in the tent.
Bud crowns are forming well on five plants so far [GDP, Bag Seed, Pineapple Express #3(?), Platinum OG, and Permanent Marker]
The nutrient solution has changed from regular jacks 321 formula to a 2-1.5-1.2-2 solution with the introduction of MKP. This change should have been made sooner but it should be too much of an issue overall.
The grow is starting to feel real with the multitude of bud sites forming! I know that these next 6-8 weeks or so will be make or break for these ladies. We will see if any of them want to finish early but I am planning on giving them extra time to mature and truly ripen...much too early to think about that.
I cant wait to see how they develop from here!
Feedback and tips always welcome

UncleJono Hello All!
We have reached the end of flowering week 4!
Nothing to much to add except I am feeding the plants full strength jacks plus 1.2g MKP per gallon. The idea is to tap the ppm ceiling during the bulk. The plants are not unhappy and seem to be thriving!
GDP is super frosty halfway through flower- the smell went from grape pixie sticks to something that reminds me of hotel bar soap. I am excited to see howbthis bouquet develops
Purest Indica #2 began taking off this week as well, so it may be a quicker finisher than first expected
Every other plant is looking to finish around week 10 or sooner except sour diesel and strawberry cough. They seem a bit behind.. will keep an eye on their development and adjust their feed as we get later into flower.
As always, feedback and tips are always welcome! See you all next week!

UncleJono Welcome back!
We have finished up week 5 - the following video and pictures are from over the weekend.
Outside of sour diesel and strawberry cough, all plants have buds/budlets and vertical growth is slowing down.
GDP, Platinum OG, Permanent Marker, and Purest Indica look the most mature. I will be monitoring trichome ripeness over these next few weeks.
I think were at least a solid 3 weeks away from our first chop!
I will see you all next week, all comments and feedback are welcome!
Peace

UncleJono Whats up yall! We're here at the end of week 6 in flower!
Some rearranging and formula shifts have occured as we head into the final push of flower.
7 plants are being fed 3.6/1.5/1.5/0 part B while the others continue the Jacks full strength plus 1.2 MKP.
I have also began giving recharge and molasses to the plants every 10 days instead of 21 - I've read/watched/listened to some people and it sounds like more microbes can be good and at worst, not harmful.
At this time, GDP seems to be first up with Platinum OG or Purest Indica on deck. Permanent Marker and Bag Seed [to be named] should be next and finally Pineapple Express #3. They're all at least 2 weeks away from harvest/flush and I will be monitoring trichome development closely to determine a target harvest day.
The remaining 5 need closer to 4+ weeks before they're ready to be chopped.
Things are looking good and are moving along very steadily! I cannot wait for the end of the month! Until then, I will see you guys next week.
Feedback, comments, and questions always welcome!

UncleJono We've made it to the end of week 7!
I am honestly impressed with what I've been able to do during my first grow as an adult. I never imagined some of these plants would look so great! GDP is easily the best looking but most all of my plants look amazing.
As I enter week 8, I will be checking trichomes on 3/4 of the tent. the saliva on the right side of the tent are still very early and have lots of white pistils so im thinking at least two more weeks for them.
I anticipate some chopping will occur between now and next Monday and if not, the days following for sure.
Can't wait to share the next update!

UncleJono Welcome back!
At the end of week 8 we have 3 plants cut and on the drying line!
I will have the harvest reports for these strains once they're bucked and jarred!
At this time, we still have 9 plants from this run finishing up, I believe 6 of the plants will be finished in the next 14 days while the other three need 3+ weeks or so.
I am checking trichomes every day and monitoring moisture uptake in the medium.
I will let you know the yield on the first three and what other plants have come down next week!
see ya next monday
This has been my favorite so far, I only have a few grams left now - I reckon this one is a keeper. The smell is an interesting mix of candy, chemicals, and funk. Standard "purple stuff" tastes on inhale and exhale. Effects were super heavy and sedative. 23 Grams dried total harvest. 9/10

UncleJono I will definitely be keeping this cut around for as long as I can.
UncleJono Forgive my late weekend update. I tried posting on Monday and the app was being stupid and then I neglected to do anything until today :) -- I'll see you guys in a few days.
Not much to report except lots of plants have come down, been jarred, and even smoked. I will begin posting harvest reports on each strain as well as my weekly flower tent updates as the final girls finish up.
I hope you have an awesome weekend!
Another keeper! - Not quite as strong as GDP but boy was she heavy! I am just going to assume the genetics contributed to the yield I pulled here. Nice kushy smoke with a sweet and floral, almost nutty smell. Good for relaxing or perhaps even sedation if you smoke a lot. 8.5/10 - 40 dried grams total
Since this is an S1, my plant seemed to pick up an orange/citrus smell and taste. It is quite pleasant but far away from the mango+burnt rubber smell I was expecting. Really smooth and sweet inhale/exhale on this one and the Effects are quite balanced for such a bright tasting/smelling strain. I would like to pop more seeds on this one but overall I am satisfied with the end product - effects and yield were good here.

UncleJono Not quite a keeper but will grow my clones out and then look to my seeds when I want to revisit.
This one kinda smells like feet or something. Nothing too strong in the nose department but the smoke is smooth and nice, very mild flavor but still coats the mouth. Effects were more heady than I expected, good for midday activities and hanging out. The cut labeled as #1 has slightly better smell but the effects are about the same as #2. I would like to give this one another go or even pop the rest of my beans. I think there is something special hiding within this strain, I just haven't found it yet. 7/10 24.5 dried grams total from 2 plants.

UncleJono I will be giving this one another shot in the near future -- if you can recommend any other AGseedco strains I should try, let me know in the comments. I'm buying seeds like pokemon cards before November rolls around 😭
@XanHalenTGI, I can safely say, I will NEVER run this many strains at once again but I am definitely making the best of it. Appreciate you tapping in!🙏
