This is the first week I guess, sprouting took a little longer then I thought. But after 5 days finally Ms. Hindu and Ms. North have been put into soil and will stay on a warm kitchen table for a couple of more days.

The sun is shining and the babies are doing well. Sadly the third one never germinated after two different trials. They are in their final pot now. I was kind of unsure how much water to add after planting them. We will see. The soil (gold label special mix light) was mixed with 20g of Aptus all-in-one pellets and some grinded directly in the hole.

They both grow well, Northi is a little ahead but still the two of them are doing well. They got their first Bio Bizz Grow Food. They seem to like it. Also the weather is beautiful with 30 degrees C all day long. Excited to see how they grow.

The weather isn‘t the best at the moment, so they both have to be inside behind the balcony window to avoid the rain and strong winds. They developed a quite strong smell already, but only when getting real close, sweet. Hope that doesn‘t get any stronger 😬 They still seem really small compared to growing them under artificial light and I still have a hard time believing that they will be harvested in the next couple of weeks. Day 28, the both got LSTed, I was a bit worried, but I guess only the attempt makes smart in the end.

Week 5 has started a couple of days ago and both sisters seemed to like their LST done on Day 28. On Day 32 some LST had to be done to make sure the new smaller parts are getting enough light. Happy 🤗

I guess pre-flowering has started? If so yeay. We have a heat wave starting with almost 40 degree C. So lots of sunlight. They both grew nice and bushy. I found some light spots on their leaves, dont know what those are? Also I saw a little tiny black bug walking on the stalk... Wondering if LST is still good in pre-flower. Update: After some research found out that the white spots are spider mites 😱 I removed some of the leaves, where I saw the bugs actually walking on it. Ordered some neem oil and some Aptus Dislike. I hope I caught it early enough and we can safe the babies. Update Day 42: Hallelujah, what a week. First the bugs and neem oil huzzle, now Ms. Hindus sister Northi had a sunburn. So much sun and not enough water. Need to adjust the watering schedule. Also we cut off some of the dried leaves which we now got told not to do. You live and you learn I guess.

Day 46: sprayed some more neem oil to get rid of the last spider mites. I just used the old mixture and the milk got bad, what a lovely smell 🤢 Update Day 48: both look some kind of recovered. Ms. Hindu got her first Bio Bizz Top Max and Bloom (each 1ml) since she’s now showing flowering more proper. Northi is still just in Bio Bizz Grow. She‘s a little behind Ms. Hindu now, I guess due to the stress of sunburn and Mites. Day 49 and Ms. Hindu is doing well. Did some more LST and she looks pretty

Ms. Hindu is doing great. Its a bit cooler now with a little rain. Lets see how that affects blooming season. Update Day 56, last day of week 8. Ms. Hindus buds are getting a bit tighter now. She looks glorious even though theres still lots of clouds and rain.

Day 1 of week 9 and day 57 in total. The weather isnt great at the moment its grey and raining. Ms. Hindus main stem now has a proper bud forming. I hope the rest of the bottom buds will rise up and start doing the same. Update day 61: Ms. Hindu looks great, her buds are getting tighter now so is her smell. Increased the bloom and topmax food now to 3ml per liter. Lets see how that goes.

Week 10 started a bit gloomy, but on day 65 finally the sun is back. I hope those buds will love it and become fatter and show some sticky trichomes finally. Is it worrying that they barely have any of those yet at week 10? I’m patient. She smells strong though, wow. Day 69 update: it‘s super sunny and hot. Both the bigger plants love it, their buds get fatter every day. Our little sprout though is not taking the heat well. The plan is to fatten them up with food this week, then check end of week how they look and then start flushing them already? Not sure hoe long they have left but I enjoy seeing them grow.

Day 74 update: the full last week of sun has helped her get really fat and more sticky. its a bit cooler now and also a little rainy. we stopped feeding her after probably overfeeding her before. we learned that feeding max. nutrients and strong sunshine isnt too good. tonight we want to flush her. she should be good to harvest in 2 weeks max. what do you think? Day 75: flushed them both. Ms. Hindu got flushed with 10l of ph balanced water. Her leaves have started to look brown and crispy on the edges. I guess shes now starting to enter the last chapter of her life and shes lacking nitrogen. I learned though that its better to have less nitrogen in the plant for a smoother smoke. We will see. Its getting closer and we’re excited 🎉

Week 12 - yeay 🎉 She looks like a crispy chicken. Apparently thats normal for end of lifetime. I feel bad for her. Also she looks like she’s foxtailing, is that it?? She is spargeling a little, maybe because she’s lacking nutrients? She still seems fine. Ready in around a good week I guess. Update Day 83: not much difference. I was researching a lot, what could be the cause of her burnt leaves and foxtailing, also checked feeding schedules of other Hindu diaries, to see if we fed too much. Some say with autos grown outdoors, foxtailing is caused by genetics and can be a good thing (when grown indoors, its more likely to be caused by the wrong light setting). Not sure how I feel about her current state. Still feeding just ph balanced water. I try being optimistic and the goal is for her to have more brown pistols.

Week 13 - Day 87: not much difference to prev. week besides the weather now being a bit moody with some rain. really surprised how long they take outdoors. hard time guessing how long she still needs. hope the weather will become better soon. Day 89 - Update: She's a weird little plant, I took a closer look, since not a lot is changing. I found the pistols to be brown-ish on the side of the buds, but on top there is lots of new white pistols. Also when I check the buds I found some balls looking things on the stem. Did she become a hermie? Through a lense, the trichomes look a little milky. Also at the top of the bud, I noticed the leaves to look more rounder, is it possible she re-vegged??? That could explain, why there is not much development going on with her buds... I feel like a hypochondriac :D It remains exciting I would say. Day 91 - not much development and rainy weather, yeay. while checking for mould or any positive signs of development, found white eggs with a black fly-like-looking thing under one leaf (see image), beautiful :( Found out what it might be, brown marmorated stink bug (https://www.whatsthatbug.com/2017/05/28/probably-brown-marmorated-stink-bug-eggs/) hallelujah, now what? Is this damaging???

Welcome week 14 😍 our little weirdo Ms. Hindu. She has been through a lot in her life and me too 😃After overcoming last nights shock when finding some stink bug eggs under one leaf, I checked this morning for more eggs, but couldnt find any more, yeay. Her existing overall structure doesnt look a lot different from the last 10 days, but she is showing some new healthy looking growth, which I find a bit weird, but ok. Really cant guess anymore when she'll be ready, nature is beautiful Update Day 92 - one of her bigger stems/colas broke off, it seemed almost too heavy or was just easily breakable, I dont know. Since I wanted to document everything, the stem that broke off wasnt trimmed and it wet weighs 35,26g. Also a little bit I ripped off, it weighs 3,36g. We hung it in their drying box. Update Day 96 - the last days she didnt really use a lot of water, also the sun hasnt been out a lot. She has been on a diet since roughly 2 weeks now. I think in the last days, more pistols have turned brown, through our lense I see mostly milky trichs and very little amber colored ones. The drying stem has developed quite the strong beer smell, haha, it's Day 4 of drying, the smaller bit we had to test smoke 😋It was such a great feeling and already gave a beautiful not too heavy high, both the body and the head. Still loving this experience, it's truly fulfilling 😍

Week 15 of Ms. Hindu - Day 99 😍 The week started with trimming the dried stem that broke off and had been drying for 6 days now, see photo. The dry vs. wet difference had me shocked a bit, also my buds seem to be very fluffy, I don't mind, I'm beeming 😇 She has cured now for 2 days and the smell is amazing. We also tried a little each day now and she's brilliant and improving daily, so rewarding 😍 Day 100 - The chop While preparing her for a last photo shoot in the morning light, I found a little spot of dark mould in the middle of her dense main cola 😱After processing the shock with a strong coffee and a little smoke (of her), I chopped her down. Not all of her, but everything except a little young bud, that still wants to grow. Some bugs fell out, a green little guy (see video) and all sorts of nature. I decided to wash one part of her. Thx to Mrs_Larimar for the inspiration and https://www.docbudsbrix.com/bud-washing for the details. Lots of incredible info on reddit as well. I love science 😍The other half I will wet trim (also a first, the other bud was dry trimmed) and then let dry in the dry box as well. What a day, pure rollercoaster but smiling and grateful. Thanks to this lovely place as well. 🙏 I will add the proper harvest details later and will update with dry weight in hopefully 7-10 days.
