PapaTerps Monaco - Nine Weeks Harvest
To kick off 2026, I selected some "premium brand" strains to grow over the next few months. I selected this strain by US based breeder Nine Weeks Harvest (although I believe these seeds are from Spain) for her sweet citrus flavours, her raved about bag appeal and her stimulating effects!
The breeder has stressed that this one grows tall, so I will be performing a lot of training on her šŖš»
Note: I've had a lot of issues germinating these seeds, of the pack of 6+1 seeds, only 1 has germinated, and it took two weeks to break the soil...
Day 1 - selected seed dropped into a room temperature glass of RO tap water. She will remain in here for two or three days, until her Taproot is long enough to plant š¤š»
Day 5 - I had initially thought this diary was dead, but the seed which I had planted two weeks ago, finally appeared from the soil! She has her shell on, so I removed that along with the membrane, which was quite difficult to remove. Like I said, I'm not expecting much from her, but her starter leaves are out, so I'll let her grow and see how she goes! š¤š»
Day 8- her starter leaves have opened and the first true set of leaves have started to grow, so his looks promising! For now, I'll let her grow and develop, hopefully all goes well! I'm really excited for this one!!!

Day 12 - Today is her first day of veg, she is growing her second set of leaves and is looking very healthy.š I've watered her with 100ml of RO tap water with defined nutrients, pH'd to 6.3. I'm surprised she has gotten this far as the other seeds had failed at this point, but she is looking strong and healthy, so I expect her to go full cycle now! I'll keep her in her starter pot for another few days to allow her to develop her root structure, when she's ready, she'll be moved to a 10L fabric pot, vegged for a few weeks and ten moved to a 12 hour light schedule to induce flower š

Day 20 - I've transplanted her to her main grow pot, a 10L "original air pot", which are meant to actively enhance the development of healthy roots. I also watered her with 1L of RO tap water, with defined nutrients mixed individually in order and then pH'd to 6.3. I will now let her settle in over the next few days before she's watered again. šš»

Day 27 - I've watered her with 1L of RO tap water, with defined nutrients, mixed individually in order and then pH'd to 6.3. I've altered her nutrients from this week, switching the fish mix out for the bio grow, I've also started to introduce bloom nutrients, as I prepare her for the 12 hour light schedule; she will need a couple more weeks of veg before she begins this transition šš». From next week, her water volume will increase and she will begin her training šš» I've removed her lowest most set of leaves, her starter leaves, which were fully covered, but other than that, she's growing great! šŖš»

Day 34 - I've watered her with 1.5L of RO tap water, with defined nutrients, mixed individually in order and then pH'd to 6.3. Lots of work done on her this week, she had a few of her fan leaves removed to improve airflow and light penetration and she has been topped šš» She now has eight stems for me to work with. So after all this stress, I will leave her to grow for a week or so and then I will start prepping her for flower šš»šø

Day 42 - I've watered her with 2L of RO tap water, with defined nutrients, mixed individually in order and then pH'd to 6.3. She's in week 5 of veg now, so it's time to start preparing her for bloom, so I've increased her bloom nutrients and watering volume! šæ I've also performed the big pre-bloom defoliation, removing all fan leaves that block light or airflow and any node lower that the top two or three nodes āļø I've also started some LST on her, pinning her side stems down and away from the main stem, to ensure that when her flower starts to grow, they're not impeded by other stems šš»

šæ She has been fed twice this week, with 2L of RO tap water, with defined nutrients, mixed individually in order and then pH'd to 6.3 twice. I've once again upped her bloom nutrients by 0.5ml, as she is now in flower and will require the extra nutrients to grow and develop her bud sites!šŖ
āļø She had a lot of work performed last week, so this week I've just allowed her to recover and grow more. This was her first night on a 12 hour light schedule, so my goal for this week is to ensure she stretches with an even canopyšš»
āļø She has recovered well from the topping and defoliation last week and is looking strong and healthy again - I believe she is now ready for bloom, so last night, she was moved to 12-12 š

šæ She has been watered with 2L of RO tap water, with defined nutrients, mixed individually in order and then pH'd to 6.3 šš» She is in full bloom now, so I've increased her nutrients over the last few days to help with her flowering and bulking.
āļø I haven't done anything with her over the last few days as she has been in stretch phase, but with that coming to an end, she will require a lot of defoliation/lollipopping in the coming days.
šø She has stretched really well and is just about to finish that phase, her bud sites have developed, but there is no smell of her yet, but I expect that to change in the coming days. So far, so good šš»

āļø She had no work required, perfect internodal spacing, minimal foliage, she has been really easy šš»
šø Shes just about in to go into week 7 of bloom, which means she should have around two more weeks until harvest. Her flower is looking really good and has just about reached it's size, so all that's left to do now, is to allow the flower to mature under the lights šŖš»

šæ Watered her every second day with 2L of RO tap water, with defined nutrients, mixed individually in order and then pH'd to 6.3. From this week, I will gradually start to reduce her nutrients levels until she is receiving just plain water - she will be flushed for at least ten days before harvest.
āļø I removed a couple of sugar leaves from around the flower at the top canopy to improve light penetration to help her mature šŖš»
šø Shes into week 8 of bloom and she is just focusing on maturing her flower, which means it's time to prepare her for harvest.š On inspection, her pistils have mostly turned amber with white pistils appearing from newer growth and her trichomes are all milky clear. Her cone shaped cola have taken on autumnal colours, with deep purples and blues popping from under the shimmer of the dense trichome coverage. Her aroma is also very present, with strong fruity and gas notes with undertones of spices!
The goals for these final few days is to get her flushed and remove all unnecessary foliage as well as regular inspecting her for maturity levels, but also molds and pests. All good so far šš»

Great strain, really fruity/candy scent - smoke report to follow. She will be dried in a cool dark room 20 degrees Celsius at 60% relative humidity for 10 days, after which she will be cured in glass jars for at least one month before being smoked.

šæ She has been watered a couple of times this week with 3L of plain RO tap water pH'd to 6.3. she was then left to dry back šš»
āļø In preparation for harvest, I performed a wet trim on her, removing all fan and larger sugar leaves a couple of days before harvest and that was it, the last hit of work on her šš»
šø Week 10 of bloom and all her trichomes have turned either milky or amber and 95%+ of her pistils have turned amber meaning she is now ready for harvest.š
