Super Skunk

Hello Fellow Growers 😁 Back again and growing Super Skunk! Used the cup method to germinate the girls, simple but sufficient. If you don't know what that is or a first time grower looking for advice on how to start the seeds off I'll give a brief description next. Drop the seeds in a glass of room temperature water , I prefer using a see through glass that way I can see when they sink. I keep them in a dark cupboard for 24 hours then check. The seeds should of sunk to the bottom if not I give them a tap,ideally the seeds at the bottom are germinated and ready to be planted , I prefer waiting another 24 hours , usually the tails will start coming out and if any floaters where around 24 hours ago they would of dropped. As I said simple but sufficient. The girls are planted in CANNA COCO under a 250w MH bulb around a foot away. Hoping all goes well and all 5 pop through the COCO within the next few days!

Week 2 update on the girls. The difference in size is amazing. They are growing at very fast pace 👌 some of the girls are doing their own thing and a little smaller but that's ok, slow and steady wins the race lol. We started the girls on Formulex Nutrient Solution - Unviersal Profile 10ml per 10L of water and Plant Magne-Cal + 10ml per 10L of water. So far everything's going smoothly , also we upgraded the humidifier so got the humidity on point, heating on point , zero problems so far!

Week 3. Photos from the end of week 2 to the end of week 3. You can see the size difference in the girls they are doing great! Still having Plagron nutrients. Decided to change the light to a 600w HPS 4 days ago. Some of the girls are showing some signs of heat stress but rectified it and they will bounce back in a few weeks. Going to get the scrog net sorted before next week and get them growing into it. Here's hoping lol! Happy growing.

Week 4... Wow! The growth has been crazy, I've actually never saw a plant have this amount of crazy branches and growth in such a short few days lol! We started them on different nutrients Cellmax , honestly believe this has something to do with it! Trimmed them and put the scrog net out and flipped them into flower ( 12 hours on 12 hours off ) can't wait too see the growth in the up coming weeks! Also took the humidifier out as humidity was rising as the growth was getting bigger ! As always ... Happy Growing!

Hey guys! So week 5 is here , 1 week of flowering done! We got half way through the week and realised that we may need not only a bigger tent but a bigger house for the girls as super skunk grows like a bloody Christmas tree😂, so we got out the scrog net and decided it will be a scrog grow! Have given the girls another good trim because like I said , super skunk = big and bushy Lol! The girls are loving their Cellmax nutrients and honestly the growth has been insane since the switch over! Weaved them all through the scrog now just hoping everything goes too plan😎 not much else to report! Happy growing!

The girls are coming on a treat! These are the type of girls you could strip down to near enough naked and the next day they look bushy as again👌🏼😏 this would be ideal but since we are scrog'in it's proving a bit difficult so unsure if we are going to go for a true s.o.g or use it just to create space ! The girls are coming along great and are brilliant to grow - 4 out of 5 of the girls are spot on! The middle one , is around 30cm smaller and taking her time! But apart from that super skunk is spot on! Flowers have started popping through everywhere so looking forward too seeing the profession over the upcoming weeks 😁 Happy growing 🤗😎

Week 7. Sorry about late update, been a bit hectic in the real world ! So we have been trimming and trimming these girls, but everytime you cut one leaf , it seems like 8 grow back in its place haha.. so we have gave up 😜 also the s.o.g also didnt goto plan, with it trimmed , perfect! When they decide to turn into crazy growing machines not so good haha... we have just decided to use the net to create space and hope it works! Nothing really else to add, lots of flowers are about 😏 Happy growing! 😜😎

Well , these girls are just massive 😂 I seriously have never saw this amount of growth in such a short time honestly 😂 When I'm putting the height of the plants I'm measuring from the bottle of the soil to just above and what I like to call gestimating as its beyond difficult to measure so sorry about that in advance guys 👎🏼 I wish I had an amazing camera so you guys can fully see the extreme crazy growth amongst the canopy ! Had to give the girls another major trim As those fan leaves where multiplying , twisting and knotting and doing some crazy 💩 Haha😂 Now we have been in limbo with what to do with regards to the scrog , everytime we decide something we end up doing the opposit so just going to take it week by week, as you can see from the middle of the canopy those stems have been wrapped round the full tent nearly and still popping right up, so put them back under which I was initially not going to do but yeh lol! Still using cellmax nutrients a,b and flower... Feel like I should stop haha. Highly rate them guys the growth with this grow compared to last is outstanding! Apart from the crazy growth issues all is good 😁 Dehumidifier is doing its job perfectly , we would appreciate a hand trimming them 😂 That's the only negative I've got to say 😂 Welcome to my garden of beautiful flowers 😂😂👌🏼👌🏼 Happy growing buddy's 😁✌️🏼️✌️🏼🍁🍁

Well we had a couple of issues this week , the net has decided to start cutting through the branches and a lot where being strangulated , so we have cut some of the net , still leaving enough too support the buds and branches but enough so the girls can breathe👎🏼 Apart from that everything has been cool👌🏼 cut some of the fan leaves off again as its preventing light from hitting those other flowers! Crystals are frosting up nicely 😎 Loved growing these girls highly recommend this strain , so much that I'm considering doing another grow with super skunk but letting them grow naturally as would love to see them in full form! Decided to give the light a dyi approach and bend it out and turn it around the other way , made such a difference as light is now being spread across the full canopy 😂👌🏼 second issue was humidity , it was rising higher than I would of liked ... Well so we thought cause stupid me had the reading under the canopy so stuck it up at canopy height and it came dropping down thankfully😂😂👍🏼 apart from that we have been just keeping an eye on the net and hoping it withstands the weight when the girls get bigger 🍁 Happy growing ✌️🏼️😁

Welcome to Week 10😎✌️🏼️ These weeks have been flying in with the girls! Say this every update but it's defo been my fave to grow so far! The smell coming from them is unbelievable .... Surprised yous can't smell it 😂😂 so if your doing a stealth grow ... Don't recommend it lol👃🏼❌! The scrog. Oh god the scrog, well it's failed. The girls growth is just crazy under it, there was no controlling it, even with creating more gaps and trying our best to salvage it, it just wasn't working! So the net is out and you can see from the photos they have all bounced back and pointing to the light , thankfully! We have used some garden wire to just give a bit of support around the legs making sure they will stay together for these next couple of weeks! Apart from that there's been no issues, looking forward to watching these flowers fatten up 😆🍁 Happy growing 😁

Week 11! Sadly we lost a branch due to the size of the buds! A lot of the branches are falling down so going to put in some extra support next week and hopefully we can make it to the end in one piece 😂👍🏼 Apart from that we have had no problem , just waiting for 50% of the tricombs to turn Amber and we will start flushing!😬 Will be sad to see this grow come to an end, it's been great but I can't wait to smoke some of this skunk 😍 Happy growing !

1st of all I would like to say sorry for taking so long to update this, this diary as well as my other one have been all over the place, due to my partner being ill and in and out of hospital after these plants came out of veg I didn't have time to spend checking every little thing as I was busy a lot.... so please don't take my diary as a review for this strain ((as it was the grow not the strain or breeder at fault)) also this diary is over a month old and I'm only just updating it, sorry to all that followed it and never got to see the outcome (I had to upload a old photo as some of you mite know I broke my phone by droping it in a 10L jug of water when I was feeding these girls... I Wont be back for another couple of weeks (with in the month), Now things are looking up and sorted I can plan another grow and get back to normal....
