Don't let your coco dry too much during the early stage as too much dry back will damage the roots at this stage.Check my roots out.As soon as the top layer gets lighter in colour then water it especially during the first 4wks.IYour whole pot wants soaking with around 2 pints at this point.Iv been growing for over 30yrs and still leave autos to grow out when Iv grown them.I have some on my diary at 6wks old that were left to it,and if you have no experience then youll get far more off them if you leave them.Iv never got less than 4oz off them.Youre better off doing photoperiod. You ahve more control, you decide when they flower. They flower by giving them a 12hr dark period so you grow them as big as you want.I grow big plants so veg mine for several weeks.Theyre stronger and you save on electric during flowering with the 12 dark period.Autos are a new thing. They only came out around 15yrs ago and the first ones were yielding 10 grams.I tell everyone.Put those autos down.Your best off getting some training experience with a photeperiod. If you do it wrong you have all the time in the world for it to grow back but you have no more than 5wks with an auto. You will get more if you leave them that is a fact.
