GreenHobbit 🌸 Flowering Week 1 – Stretch & Transition The first week of flowering was all about the transition from vegetation to bloom. The plant adapted well to the light change and immediately started stretching. Internodal distances increased, and the growth was visibly dynamic. No deficiencies or signs of stress. The leaf color remained a rich green, and the structure was robust. The focus was on stable environmental parameters and consistent watering.

GreenHobbit 🌸 Flowering Week 2 – Noticeable Stretch & First Bud Sites The stretch continued strongly, and the plant gained significant height and volume. First pistils appeared at the nodes – clear signs of the transition into the generative phase. The structure developed evenly, and the shoots became stronger. Climate and VPD were kept stable, with no abnormalities in the foliage.

GreenHobbit 🌸 Flowering Week 3 – Stretch ended, Budsites are defining themselves The stretch slowly subsided and the plant began to visibly channel its energy into bud formation. Budsites became clearly recognizable, the plant appeared more compact and focused. Leaves remain healthy, no burn or deficiency signs. Overall, a very clean transition into the main flowering stage.

GreenHobbit 🌸 Flowering Week 4 – Bud Development & First Resin Formation Now the actual bud development began. The buds became denser, and the calyxes started to stack. First signs of resin were visible, especially on the sugar leaves. The smell was already slightly developing – first hints of citrus and cheese. The plant looked stable and vigorous. At the end of week 4, the last major defoliation. My Christmas gift, the spiderfarmer soil sensor, is also in use now.

GreenHobbit 🌸 Flowering Week 5 – Mass phase starts Clearly visible bud growth. The flowers became firmer and started to gain volume. Resin production noticeably increased. The plant remained easy to handle, with no signs of stress. Leaf color still healthy, photosynthesis fully active.

GreenHobbit 🌸 Flowering Week 6 – Resin, Density & Terpene Explosion This week really kicked off: massive resin production, super sticky sugar leaves. The buds became compact and heavy. The smell intensified significantly – strongly lemony with a classic cheese note. The plant showed no weaknesses; everything was running very stable.

GreenHobbit 🌸 Flowering Week 7 – Ripening phase begins Growth visibly slowed down, focus is now on ripening. The buds looked mature and very dense. Trichomes became more numerous, and the first milky heads were noticeable. Individual leaves started to lighten slightly – completely normal at this stage. No issues with mold or stress.

GreenHobbit 🌸 Flowering Week 11 – Last week is running (Final Ripening – ongoing) The plant is currently in its last week of flowering, which will continue until Friday. Growth is fully completed, and the focus is clearly on the final trichome ripeness. The buds are very dense, hard, and heavily resin-coated. Trichomes are mostly milky with a stable, slowly increasing amber percentage. Leaf fade is present but controlled and even. No signs of stress, no issues with mold or heat. The plant appears very stable and "ready" overall, just needs time to reach its full ripening potential. Technique (ongoing operation): • Light cycle: 12/12 • Light power: approx. 85% • Light distance: ~45 cm • VPD: approx. 1.45 • Climate kept consciously stable, no changes planned 👉 Harvest decision will be made at the end of the week, depending on further trichome development. GreenHobbit Flowering Day 77 – Patience Pays Off Three weeks past the manufacturer’s estimate – and that’s exactly why this moment feels right. I consciously decided to go by ripeness rather than the calendar. The goal is a strong body-focused, sedating end result – so patience instead of haste. The fade is noticeable, the leaves are losing strength, while the buds look dense, resinous, and fully matured. Now it’s not about mass anymore, but about fine ripeness. The final week begins. 🌿 Final Report – Franco’s Lemon Cheese 🍋🧀 | Day 80 – Harvest Day 80. Today is the day I’ve been working towards the whole time: harvest time. After patiently waiting, the amber ratio is now exactly where I wanted it – and for me, that’s the perfect point to take the scissors. This run was primarily about: control, patience, and fine-tuning. I deliberately didn’t rush, but led the plant cleanly to the end. The last few days were pure observation: checking trichomes, assessing ripeness, combining gut feeling + magnifying glass – and today it just clicked. What I take away from this grow: • Timing beats stress: That little extra wait was worth it – it’s those last few percent that make the difference in the end. • Ripeness over appearance: Don’t just go by “looks ready,” but by what the trichomes are really saying. • Stable until the end: The final phase determines whether you end up with a good result or with a “I should have…” Now Phase 2 Begins From now on, it’s not about growth anymore, but about securing quality: Drying, climate, patience – and then curing, until Franco’s Lemon Cheese becomes exactly what it’s supposed to be: hard, aromatic, clean, finished. Current climate settings: • 60% rH (±2% dead zone) • 16–18 °C • gentle air circulation without direct airflow Today is Day 5 of drying. The small stems are starting to crack slowly, the larger ones are no longer rubbery but still flexible – exactly in the desired range for a slow, terpene-preserving drying process. The smell is developing further. Initially slightly "straw-like," which is normal at this stage, the typical lemon-cheese profile is already coming through. No mold, no abnormalities. The goal remains a total drying time of about 8–12 days – depending on further development. I will provide more updates throughout the week regarding moisture development, changes in smell, and stem structure. Patience will determine the final result. 🍋🧀 I’ll keep you updated🏻 Drying Update – Day 6 → Trim & Jar Time After exactly 6 days of drying, it was time: Trim-Day ✂️ The conditions in the drying room remained constant at about 16–18°C and ~60% rH (±2% dead zone). The scent is now significantly less "green," the typical hay aroma is slowly fading and making way for the first lemony-cheesy notes 🍋🧀 The smaller stems are now cracking cleanly, the thicker ones still bend slightly – for me, the perfect time to trim and jar. ✂️ Procedure: • Individual branches removed • Finely trimmed • Directly into jars with hygrometers 📊 First values after filling: After 2 hours in the jar, the moisture stabilized at 60-62%. The buds feel dry on the outside but still slightly "alive" on the inside – just how I wanted to start for curing. Now the exciting phase begins: slow aging, daily burping, preserving terpenes.
