Red_eyed_optimist So my germination process starts off with a mix of DISTILLED WATER(250ml) and Rhizotonic xp(1ml) split into 2 cups with a seed placed in each and put somewhere dark. I keep them in the water for about 10-12hrs and make sure they sink...the Rhizotonic xp is used to soften the shell. Next they're placed in folded paper towels soaked down with the same water/Rhizo mix and put in zip lock bags and placed in a warm dark place(my new 2x2x3 tent). 36hrs later...they were ready to be planted. 24hrs after putting them in soil and watered with a little RECHARGE they popped out and are on there way.

Red_eyed_optimist So after the first 7 days of veg I'm not happy with what I'm seeing from the APPLES N BANANAS. I think it wasn't getting enough light in the propagation tent, so I put them in the 2x4. The ALASKAN THUNDERFUCK seems to be doing ok, but overall I feel like I'm way behind where I should be.

Red_eyed_optimist So after 2 weeks of veg sadly I lost my APPLES N BANANAS and I don't know why....maybe the roots weren't growing as fast as the ALASKAN THUNDERFUCK and as a result it was over watered I don't know, so going forward the ALASKAN THUNDERFUCK is gonna be getting all the attention.

Red_eyed_optimist So my girls roots got a coating of RECHARGE and was transplanted into her final 2 gal pot of pure CANNA COCO on day 17 and with no signs of transplant shock she was topped 4 days later on day 21.

Red_eyed_optimist So on day 24 of veg I removed all but 2 giant fan leaves so the lower growth could get more light penetration, and by day 28 I cut the 2 giant fan leaves that I left on top. She looks a little funky right now, but I don't care...I have enough jars to last me a year right now....so I can afford to play around with this plant.

Red_eyed_optimist With 5 weeks of veg in the books and with LST on the go she's still standing in at 9 inches tall. I've defoliated a couple of times this week for better air flow as well as better light penetration. I'm thinking 1 maybe 2 more weeks of veg before she gets flipped.

Red_eyed_optimist So week 6 is the last week of veg, with LST she's standing in at 10 inches tall with 10-12 top cola sites emerging. I've been doing some defoliation to keep micro climates from forming while getting better light penetration at the same time.

Red_eyed_optimist So she stretched 7 inches during week 2 of flower and now she's standing in at 19 inches tall. She's drinking twice the amount of water now then in veg and with the buds starting to form, I'm gonna start adding some BOOST to the feed schedule.

Red_eyed_optimist So with 4 weeks of flower in the books I like the bud development that I'm seeing...even the 3 buds I found growing on the fan leaves..lol. I've added A/C Infinity's UV lighting to the mix and she's getting 8ml of Canna Boost with every feeding.

The ALASKAN THUNDERFUCK was a pleasure to grow. I followed the CANNA COCO feed chart as well as using RECHARGE, RUBY FULVIC and WINTER FROST as directed along with CAL MAG every watering and she had no deficiencies along the way. She gave me 196g of dry bud and I'm probably testing some on the weekend.

Red_eyed_optimist This was my 4th coco grow and also an experimental grow as well. I decided to scale down from 3 gal pot into a 2 gal pot and I managed to harvest 196g (7oz) of quality bud...3oz more than I was aiming for which was amazing. Instead of hang drying the whole plant for 10-14 days, I used the HERBSNOW dryer which dried it perfectly in 94hrs without losing any of the aroma it had going into the dryer which is awesome. And finally I'm gonna try the VIVI 10 day cure pack inside my 4L mason jar for the 1st time and see how that works.
