Pepe Silva and Sour Cherry Diesel

hazydayz522 Once again I have no pictures from the seedling stage. They had a couple sets of leaves, you know what that looks like. 😅I attached a picture of some of my hash rosin curing up.

hazydayz522 Finally, pictures!! After a week in the solo cups these ladies were getting a bit rootbound and it was time to transplant them to 5 gallon pots. In the solo's they were getting a little bit of Gen Hydro rapid start and i swear by it until they hit their final 5 gal pots.

hazydayz522 Alrighty! This week was topping week for the ladies as they were at about 6 nodes. I took the tops and put them in some plugs with some roottech gel to keep some clones if i like the way these gals grow. The roots clearly started spreading out in their new homes and all the rootbound damage has vanished from the new growth. The plants are still just getting pH'd water as there are plenty of nutrients in the fresh soil for a bit. You can also see in these pics how I wire up my watering system for my plants.

hazydayz522 Here is the first week of some rapid growth post topping. You can really start to see the distinct growth tips I'll be focusing on. Still no nutrients this week and the soil still has a bit left. If you look closely the bottom left Sour Cherry Diesel plant is complaining a little bit. I have no idea why but she must be a sensitive girl 😂😂 Humidity was fluctuating hard this week but on average I'd say it hovered around 65%, a bit lower than I like at this stage.

hazydayz522 The ladies were a little thirsty when I took the picks this week but don't you worry, they popped right back up after their first watering with FOOD! In my experience this week is usually when my 5 gallon pots run low on nutrients in the soil so I fed the ladies the "week 3" amounts in the advanced nutrients feeding chart. The first feed is also the LAST time I pH my water for the remainder of the grow. With advanced nutes you really don't need to in my experience. I swear I'm not a shill for them this is just my experience so ymmv. You can really see this week how much that lower left SCD plant is whining but I bet the nute boost will perk her back up! Also, check out the interesting growth on the Pepe Silvia nodes, they seem to be growing in triplicate!

hazydayz522 Heyoooo! So this week is the final week of veg before the flip to 12/12 and the ladies got a little haircut. I left a few of the smaller branches intact as they still produce some trichs for hash making but the overall structure of the plants is now set for flower. These girls are drinking a ton of water now and absolutely loving the veg nutrients I've given them so far. 😍😍 Onward to flower!

hazydayz522 First week of flower in the books and wow are the Pepe Silva plants stretching! I completely forgot to take pictures of the Sour Cherry Diesel plants this week sorry guys! 😭😭They are having a stretch of their own but in a muuuuuuch more compact manner. The smell is getting strong but in more of a overwhelming leaf smell vs a flowery dank smell. This makes sense as you can see in the pictures that the girls have absolutely filled their tents with leaves already. I've switched over to bloom nutrients now and am slamming these plants with max "recommended" levels and I'm not seeing a burnt tip anywhere. I really think they could take more if I wanted but AN nutes are expensive and things are running smoothly at this level so why mess with it.👽

hazydayz522 Welp, I was super busy this week and aside from watering nothing major has changed with the plants besides a ton more Pepe Silvia stretching. Seriously this strain stretches like crazy, DO NOT grow if you're limited on height or love supercropping. The SCD's are starting to set their bud structure and throwing a few pistils here and there. Of course I forgot to take pics this week so I attached a pic of some of the clones I took a few weeks back pls a couple more I took during that pre 12/12 defoliation. I know some look a bit rough but they were just thrown in a cup of water to root so cut em some slack! 😂 I'll be back with pics next week I promise.

hazydayz522 Boom! I promised some pictures and I delivered! 😅These tents are just loaded with leaves and the plants have finally stopped stretching and started stacking bud sites with some great pistil growth this week. Speaking of stretching, look at that internodal distance on the Pepe! Not the most ideal but I had enough space to handle it. The Sour Cherry Diesel on the other hand has stayed amazingly squat for how little training I did this run and look at that structure!! The nugs are going to be massive on those plants I can feel it.

hazydayz522 Hey All! With the end of week 3 and start of week 4 I've done my last major defoliation and took off nearly all major fan leaves on all the plants. I could've removed a bunch of the smaller shoots but they actually seemed to be developing better than expected and they should produce a decent amount of trichs, especially for hash production. At this point the ladies have one job, stacking buds! I'm still blasting them with the full strength of the Advanced Nutrients lineup and still not seeing a single burnt leaf tip so I'm gonna run them at max to the finish line. The rest of the grow should be cruise control but I'll still be back every week with updates. 👽👽
