TheRexxx For the next 55 hours, there will be absolute radio silence in the Cannakan. No light, no stress, just cozy germination in the dark. After that, things will get really wild: We'll move the girls directly into the tent and throw them into the deep end, quite literally! We're starting a little hydro experiment here. Not a standard grow, but pure experimentation, playing around, and skill-building. The two Stixx are ready with a relaxed 47 watts to kick things off as soon as the first heads are visible.

TheRexxx Guys, check this out, those little "dicks" have turned into real fighters overnight! 🚀 The ladies have officially conquered the rock wool and are now fully in their juice. The air pump in the tank is making quite a racket and pumping in oxygen like crazy, while up top the first serrated leaves are greeting the light of the world. 🫧

TheRexxx The experiment is now entering the next round, and I've mixed up a fresh nutrient solution for the girls that hopefully packs a good punch. I've got the full load of TriPart with Micro, Grow, and Bloom in there, plus Power Roots for that extra kick and Pure Zym to keep everything clean in the system. Even a bit of CalMag is in the mix, and I've finally got the pH level under control. The roots are already pushing through the rock wool at the bottom of the pots, looking nice and bright and strong, which is a really great sign. Unfortunately, one of the Papayton didn't make it, but the other two look really good—one already has an ultra-long root that's slowly spreading out in the water, and the other is just breaking through the rock wool. With the Pineapple Express X Tangie, I've got a real rocket that’s taking off and stretching beautifully towards the light, while the other two are still a bit short. But everyone gets a fair chance with me. I've also lowered the lights significantly and raised the tank a bit so the paths are shorter and more power gets through. Right above the plants, there's a Sanlight Flexx for the perfect light, while the Stixx from up top provide support. I'm really curious to see what the next few days bring in the tank and how the little ones react to the new food.

TheRexxx The last week in the test tent has been a complete triumph of genetics. Since the end of February, the girls have shown a metabolism that is extremely impressive. The Pineapple rocket has developed into a massive specimen under the Sanlight, with its stem now reaching a decent thickness and pushing out strong side branches everywhere. But what has been happening beneath the surface was the real show: A root carpet has taken over the tank and is demonstrating with its fine branching that nutrient uptake is currently at an absolute maximum. Even the little latecomer has caught up and is now standing stable. With the stable nutrient solution and the balanced pH value, the foundation for further development is now 100 percent set.🏗️😄

TheRexxx The transition to flowering is officially complete, and I have to say, the development in the tent so far is really impressive. Right after the cotyledons, the first leaves have grown extremely large, and you could literally see the plants making a massive growth spurt as soon as the nutrient dosage was increased. The roots are also developing at an extreme pace. What’s particularly exciting is the direct comparison of the rock wool variants in the system. In the trial with the small, short cubes, the roots grew rather sparsely at first but then spread out wide. The variant with double the amount of rock wool for double the height took longer for the roots to become visible at the bottom, but now they are coming out much stronger and in a much higher quantity. A major downside here, however, is that the rock wool is unfortunately standing in water in some places. This could theoretically lead to rot, which I’m of course keeping a close eye on, even though we hope everything goes well. In terms of lighting, the setup has been running at 58 watts, consisting of a Sanlight Flex 2 with 15 watts and two Sanlight Stixx 50, each running at 40 percent power. Today, I turned one Stixx directly above the hydro test up to 60 percent, so we’re now at a total of 70 watts in the tent. For growth, the Pineapple Express X Tangie is particularly surprising, as it is already forming the fifth node pair. The Papaytons are currently at about 3 to 4 nodes. Even the Pineapple Express X Tangie Freak Edition has made a respectable boost; it’s still a bit short, but it has developed a remarkably thick stem. I’m really curious to see how the plants transform and develop in the coming days and weeks.

TheRexxx This is also the last week, after that I will have to abandon the project and destroy the plants. It was a very enlightening experiment, incredible how well the roots are growing, but there are some things you have to keep in mind, but that's why you do the experiments 😀
