postpluves Second grow in the tent, third total grow.
Expecting funky stems because of pot position in relation to lights (secondary to Grow 1 Q4 2025).
Germination much faster than the older seeds used in Grow 1.4.25
14.02 Added nepenthes and drosera to the tent as natural pest deterrents as the soil lived in the shed for a while, and there’s the occasional fungus gnat. They’re so cute!
15.02 First full week done, so far looking good. Watered twice week 1, not including on sowing.

postpluves 19.02 So far a good week. First true leaves were slightly crisped at the tip on Monday, but second set seems unbothered. Watered twice as needed. They’re really growing up so fast. (And I’m excited.)
22.02 Really easy week! Compared to the stunt queens of G1.4.25 these plants are growing very fast. I’m looking forward to seeing what a more normal grow timeline looks like. Fingers crossed they stay simple.

postpluves 26.02 Another easy week so far. Day to day the plants don’t seem to change much, but comparing pictures really shows how fast they’re going. MWF1 has some funky leaf shapes going on, but early leaves aren’t always the prettiest. If they keep this up, I’d almost say they’ll finish before the stunt queens!
01.03 End of the week, not much to report, other than visible daily growth. Milky Way is taller with more internodal space than Exodus Cheese. Environmentals are the same, so might be strain difference. Stunt queens are finishing up (real! not clickbait!) soon, if trichs are anything to go by on the GP, but you know. Could be two more weeks, so the babies might still catch up :’)

postpluves 08.03 Another easy week and unexpected inflorescence! Once again, really putting the stunt queens into perspective (another two weeks etc etc). EC is growing tall, having doubled in height in a week time. LST doesn’t seem to be slowing her down much. MW remains squat with a thicc ass stem, but the short internodal space and honestly large, chunky fingered leaves mean moisture gets trapped between them, which may prove an issue later. Considering defoliation to prevent moisture issues.
13.03 Uploaded rest of the pics from first full week of flowering. Forgot the ones at the very end of the week, but it is how it is. MW is starting to stretch a little between nodes, which eases some of my moisture worries. LST is still very difficult on MW and best applied to leaves. EC’s secondary branches are starting to get longer too, which makes me think this girl may get quite tall and wide. Started rotating the plants 90 degrees every day to hopefully even out any PPFD differences in the tent. Stunt queens are hitting the harvest window and are hopefully out of there soon to make some space for these girls.

postpluves 18.03 The girls keep amazing me with how fast they grow, and in EC’s case, how fucking tall they get. I may have to top the next EC if I want to keep several phenos in the tent, cause it’ll make light management easier. The stretch is real, as you can see. No stress, no issues, though I may need to let MW dry a little longer between watering than EC, as the leaf coverage affords it more water retention in the soil.
Stunt queens are finally in the chopping window, so I’m just waiting for their trichomes to finish up.

postpluves 24.03 Starting to see some indicators of problems on the girls. Considering the high pH of our local tap water, might have to dig out my old pH paper and go to town with lemon juice to calibrate the water from now on. That said, considering they’re still keeping up their pace, I feel like regardless of tackling pH, they’ll get there.
In other news, both stunt queens were chopped this week! … And I may pop some speedy seeds to finish a run before Mary Jane Berlin in June :3

postpluves 27.03 Week’s not over yet but wanted to share a little video of progress. The girls have some issues, but after caving and grabbing some pH paper and fixing the water pH, I’m hoping they’ll not suffer too much. For the stunt queens this was when their issues exacerbated, but they did start off with a set back. Also new baby in the tent! Last before Mary Jane Berlin.
Futile attempt at picking out cat hair also captured. Don’t at me, I grow just for me, ain’t no stopping it, just minimising it.
31.03 Not much to say other than the tent seems to have gone from a fairly green fresh scent to more pungent in a few days. Both plants smell lovely when I rub a leaf between my fingers, curious to see how they develop these coming few weeks. Hoping the pH-ing will fix some issues, and else we’re heading for another aggressive defoil. Considering the headstart these girls have on the stunt queens, I’m not too worried about it hurting the harvest.

postpluves 07.04 Spent some time on Friday getting rid of some leaves that were dead and dying, and between pH and feeding I’m definitely doing something right when compared to my first run. The grow is a lot less in your face at this point, but week to week the difference is noticeable. No scope trichomes are still very glassy, even if especially the Exodus Cheese is getting quite frosty. Three more weeks according to the wrappers, we’ll see how these girls stack up!

postpluves 14.04 I’ve done some defoliating this week, and especially the MW is a lot balder than she was. Tied down all her branches to try and expose all bud sites to brighter light, and have already seen some increase in secondary (tertiary?) bud site growth. Watering MW remains an issue, as the water seems to just run out the pots along the sides.
EC with her large internodal space doesn’t need much defoliating, and has just been getting regular pruning of dying leaves. Swapped the girls round in the tent so EC also gets to spend some time closer to the fan.
Trichomes seem to say another week at least on both. I can see EC is still swelling up, and MW’s buds are less frosty and smaller and feel less “full grown” than EC’s buds. The last bit of a grow is really both the easiest and the hardest. All I have to do is water and feed them, and have patience, but that last bit…

postpluves 21.04 I should get a medal for my patience. But, I will admit it’s paying off! Exodus Cheese is looking thicker than a week ago, and I am excited. I also feel like EC is even taller than last week, despite being well into flower. Buds are getting fatter all over the plant, and I cut a test bud today (third proper secondary branch from the top)
Milky Way is also starting to thicken up, a little behind on EC. Having been in the wind for most of her grow has curled some of her sugar leaves, and I think it might be at least related to the way she is fading. A bigger factor is the frankly ass water retention in her pot. I can easily give EC 1L+ of water, with minimal drip, while just 250mL runs through the pot in a matter of seconds. I’ve tried to sit and just inject the water pipette by pipette into the soil, but frankly, so not worth it. Trichomes are also about two weeks behind on EC, which also tracks with the one other plant with that kind of more squat build I’ve grown (Stunt Queen VM), which also lagged behind on a lot of things compared to her taller fellow Stunt Queen GP. Gonna keep her running as long as I can, and chop when trichomes are more ready. (Or when she is about to topple over. Those colours though!)

postpluves 05.05 Oopsies, I forgot updating due to illness.
MW still going strong. She was suffering from slightly hydrophobic soil until I chopped EC, and then suddenly started drinking liters in one go. Maybe she’s a diva too? Only RQS allowed? She just wants to be the flowering spotlight? Who can tell!
23.04 Growing wise no notes. Compared to my first two grows this was a cakewalk, as there was ample light and no stunting from germination. Smell is nasty in a nice way, sometime it reminds me almost of cigarette ash, but mostly it is funk in the best kind of way. I think I could have let her go longer, but I am impatient and have four more seeds of this strain anyway.
Flavour and vape notes to come.

postpluves 23.04 Finally broke my patience. Here goes nothing! Again, could’ve let her run a little longer I guess, but the spotting on the top leaves was starting to bother me.
Saved a bunch of calyxes as a little treat when they’re dry.
postpluves 05.05 Came really close to chopping Milky Way this past week, but luckily my wife saved her from the chop! They cautioned me patience, and I got to say they were right. I can see she’s still gotten thicker in the past week, so I’ll just twiddle my thumbs in the meantime.
Cut a test bud this week that was smoked this morning, and she was sweet, almost vanilla. It’s not what I’d pick up in a shop because she’d rather suggest than yell, and I find that profile doesn’t do well when bought in shops. I never really end up tasting it, but that just proves the benefits of growing your own!
Real curious to see how she’s going to turn out. But for now, she lives another week.
A pleasant grow, and interesting to have her overall phenotype (short and compact) in the tent as mirror to the one EC brought (tall and lanky). Not a very strong smell in the tent, but pleasant and almost like lemongrass during harvest and trim. Test bud tastes like vanilla, so I’m curious to see how her profile develops with dry and cure!
She did suffer a little early flower due to pH fluctuations, and then spent a while being very particular about watering. If I never have to painstakingly pipette-inject water into my soil just to be able to water 250mL on dry soil without losing most of it, it will be too soon. A real diva, one might say.
All that said, she weathered everything well, including her early-mid flower position in front of a fan.
Stamen in the top flower site spelled her end, because as much as we love, support, and represent the trans community ️⚧️⚧️ in this house, that pollen won’t fly here.
If I had to redo the grow, I think I would top her, but G2.1.26 will have to prove that theory for now. (Yes, different strains, but the RQS Galaxy themed F1s do all seem to have a similar build. Short and stout.)

postpluves She had a good run, but diva down!
I spent a good time trimming at the kitchen table while chatting to my wife and a friend as they were sorting beads, and isn’t that lovely.
G1.1.26, my very first unstunted plants, has really proven that regardless of the type of consumable plant, growing your own is really worth it. Good for my mental health, and tastes a lot better than storebought!
@James, Cheers! So far she's looking good, very curious how she's gonna turn out! (Also cause you're a rep, Milky Way F1 is labeled as photo on here, but everywhere else she's labeled auto. I figure that it's just a mistake on here, right?)
