Day 167 since being cloned. I’m guessing Laughing Buddha had around two weeks left, at earliest. The nights are getting colder but I will try to hang on as long as possible. Just water (just rain) being applied. With major weather recently behind, I’m hoping this plant will dry out a bit and gain some strength to stand back up in places. I will consider defoliating the biggest fan leaves in the final stretch.
I am setting me expectations low here: firstly, the density of indoor and outdoor grows (in my climate/location) are not comparable. This plant has vegged and grown for a long time, and the branches are quite full of bud, but its nothing like my indoor buds under LED (same strain). There is so much more vegetation. Again, in my climate and setup it looks like indoor will be superior to outdoor.
Secondly, if you have been following my outdoor grows I live near a mill which has an industrial floodlight that shines on the back of my garage and property. I was concerned with the light tampering with flowering and I aimed to keep the plants below the fence line. It is true that Buddha is below the night time glare - but an update would be my other two plants hermied BAD. I am getting many seeds in my Hash Plant and Black Indica buds. My hope here is that Buddha is enough in the dark to not take light damage, and did not get pollinated by the neighboring plants. I may not grow outdoors next year.
The projected high is 14 degrees Celsius, the daylight length is 11hours52minutes.
