RockoCalenberg 🌱 Rocko reporting: Germination successful – the Terp Test is officially open. Hey growleagues and ganja gardeners 👋 The starting gun has been fired and all three seeds germinated successfully.🎉 The germination was done using moist cotton pads. The seeds stayed in the pads for about two days, then they were placed directly into soil. After roughly 1.5 days in the substrate, all three seedlings popped above the surface. 🌱 They are currently growing in 1-liter Airpots filled with BioBizz Light Mix as the starter medium. Lighting is provided in the seedling area under the SANlight EVO 3-60. 💡 Germination order: 🥇 Chicken & Waffles – the first one to appear 🥈 Fruitbomb Punch – followed shortly after 🥉 Strawberry AK – slightly delayed but doing well now A few days have passed since then and I’m very happy with their development so far. All three seedlings look healthy and already show some small differences. 🔥 Fruitbomb Punch currently looks the most vigorous and fastest growing. 💪 Chicken & Waffles is also very vital, but interestingly shows rather narrow leaves, which is a bit surprising for a strain that should lean more toward the indica side. 🌿 Strawberry AK is a little more reserved at the moment, but still developing steadily. Overall they are growing quite synchronously, just with some subtle differences for the attentive observer. 🏆 The Terp Test is running – in the end the jar will decide. RockoC 💚✌️

RockoCalenberg Tag 7 | Terp Test One week after germination and we’re officially entering week 2 – everything is right on track so far. Growth is uniform across all plants, no outliers, no stress – exactly what you want to see at this stage. Still a strong positive: Cotyledons are fully intact and well formed, and the first true leaves are developing symmetrically without any deformities. No twisted growth, no genetic issues – overall a very solid start! Everything is still running in “cruise mode”. Plants are stretching moderately, orienting well towards the light and showing healthy, consistent development. No need for adjustments yet – stability over intervention. For now it’s all about keeping conditions steady and watching the structure build over the next days. Great start so far – let’s keep it rolling 👀🌱 Rocko

RockoCalenberg 🌱 Day 14 The first two weeks are done and the plants are looking really solid. Compact growth, healthy color, and overall a very stable start. 🌿 Plant Status All three are developing evenly without any issues: 👉 no stretching 👉 no deformities 👉 just stable genetics doing their thing Fruit Bomb Punch The most vigorous and fastest-growing so far. Strawberry AK A bit more reserved, but steady and healthy. Chicken & Waffles Stands out with its narrower leaves, otherwise just as stable. ? Transplant & Substrate They’re currently still in 1L air-pots. 👉 Next step: moving into 19L fabric pots Filled with a mix of fresh and recycled soil, enriched with: worm castings grape marc shell meal dolomite lime other organic amendments 👉 living soil, but kept balanced and not overloaded 🌱 Nutrients Fruit Bomb Punch → 2 Guerilla Tabs Strawberry AK & Chicken & Waffles → 1 Guerilla Tab each 💧 Watering 👉 water only so far 👉 plants are stable and happy ✌️ Conclusion A very clean and promising start: 👉 healthy 👉 stable 👉 ready for the next step The terp test is on… in the end, the jar decides. 🍯🔥 Grow on 🌱💚

RockoCalenberg Tag 21 Climate & Setup: Environment is stable and dialed in. Right now, the focus isn’t on climate but on the move into the new pots. Plant Status: The transplant marks a new phase in this run. All three plants are now in their final pots and have been properly watered. You can also see that some plants react more sensitive – and it’s not just the transplant. The earlier Spruzit treatment combined with a slightly “hot” soil mix added extra stress. Lower leaves in particular show some minor burn signs. So it’s basically a classic double stress: transplant + treatment + fresh medium. Nothing dramatic though: They just need time to settle in and adjust to the new setup. Strain Notes: Differences between phenos are already showing. Some adapt faster, others take a bit longer. For the Fruit Bomb Punch, an active decision was made: Due to its sativa-leaning stretch potential, it was topped – main tip removed to control height and keep it from shooting up too fast. Outlook: Now it’s just about letting them do their thing. Once they’re settled, we’ll see who really takes off. 👉 The Terp Test is on – in the end, the jar decides.

🌱 🇬🇧 Day 28 – New foundation, steady forward view 🌡️ Environment & Setup Conditions remain stable overall. With the larger pots, moisture behavior has slowed down a bit. Added a rice mulch layer to reduce evaporation, control fungus gnats, and improve water retention during the upcoming absence. 🌱 Plant Status Fruit Bomb Punch Clearly slowed down by topping, as intended. Currently showing yellowing and mild stress signs, likely from the combination of new soil, shifting nutrient availability, and the topping itself. Not fully settled yet compared to the others, but within a normal range. Strawberry AK Still the calmer one, but steady. Moving through this phase without any major issues. Chicken & Waffles Handled the transition the best so far. Looks the most stable and adapts to the new setup without visible stress. ⚠️ Stress & Response The combined stress from transplant + Spruzit treatment is still visible: leaf reactions minor burn marks not fully back in full growth mode yet All expected – nothing concerning. 🔮 Outlook Now it’s all about root establishment in the new soil. Once that kicks in, growth will accelerate naturally. Differences are starting to show – exactly what makes this run interesting. The terp test is running – in the end, the jar decides. 🌱

RockoCalenberg Tag 35 – settling in, structure is starting to show After the transplant, all three plants have recovered well and clearly stabilized. Moving into the bigger pots was handled nicely overall, especially in combination with the microbial watering afterwards. You can see they responded well and are now picking up momentum again. Height-wise, they’re currently around 29–30 cm, with Chicken & Waffles clearly taking the lead as the current front runner. Chicken & Waffles is pushing the hardest right now. Very robust, growing fast, with a compact yet nicely airy structure and good internodal spacing. Overall, it looks like the strongest and most stable plant in the run at the moment. Fruit Bomb Punch remains the most sensitive one. The topping and the “hot” soil are still slightly affecting her, even though she keeps progressing. She just needs a bit more time to fully settle in. She’s also reacting more cautiously to training and overall feels more delicate compared to the others. Strawberry AK is running quietly but on a very strong level. Very compact, great structure, and overall a clean, stable growth pattern. Really happy with her at this stage. All in all, the differences between the three are becoming more and more obvious: from sensitive to robust, from compact to airy. That’s exactly what makes this run interesting. The terp test is on – in the end, the jar decides. 🌱

RockoCalenberg Day 42 | Moved into the larger tent Fresh setup, fresh energy – now they can finally spread out 😎 This week was all about the move into the larger tent (90×60 cm). The space is now clearly divided – each plant gets its own 30×60 cm lane. 👉 That gives them exactly the room they need to develop properly – not cramped, but still fully under control. 🌡️ Condition & Development All three plants are showing slight tip burn, most likely from the “hot” soil setup. 👉 Nothing out of control – just a general level thing across the board. The Chicken & Waffles handles it best. Despite visible tips, she just keeps pushing and growing strong. 👉 Tough plant, takes it and keeps moving. The Strawberry AK also shows minor tip burn but stays very clean overall. 👉 Well-balanced and compact. The Fruit Bomb Punch is the most sensitive right now. Yellowing leaves and slightly behind in growth – clearly reacting more to the hot soil. 👉 But she’s stabilizing slowly and starting to come back. seedling Structure & Growth With the added space, the differences between the strains become even clearer: Chicken & Waffles → wide internodal spacing, very airy, vigorous growth Strawberry AK → compact, dense, very clean structure Fruit Bomb Punch → still catching up, rebuilding structure The lane setup helps each plant develop more evenly within its own space. 🐞 IPM / Prevention Did some preventive pest control this week: released predatory mites against spider mites & thrips watered in another round of nematodes 👉 No active infestation – just keeping things clean and under control. 🔮 Outlook Next steps are simple: let them settle into the new setup continue stabilizing (especially Fruit Bomb Punch) observe growth and let them run 👉 Just keep it steady. Fresh Space, Fresh Energy. In the end, the jar decides. Grow on 🌱💚

Chicken & Waffles: Stretch-Maschine 👑 – lange Internodien, sehr vital Strawberry AK: kompakt & buschig – wird später gut fürs Lollipoppen Fruit Bomb Punch: deutlich stabiler, kommt jetzt sauber hinterher 💧 Bewässerung / Dripper-Test 👉 Läuft. Und sie feiern’s. Konstante Versorgung zeigt direkt Wirkung: entspannter Wuchs, gleichmäßige Entwicklung. 🍯 Grow on 🌱 🇬🇧 Flower Day 5 | Day 49 overall 🌡️ Climate & Setup Everything stable – no issues. The drip system is running smoothly and keeps moisture levels consistent. 🌱 Plant Status Recovery phase is clearly over: 👉 Rooted, settled, and pushing growth again. The 19L pots are fully utilized now. Chicken & Waffles: stretch leader 👑 – wide internodes, very vigorous Strawberry AK: compact and bushy – perfect for later cleanup Fruit Bomb Punch: much more stable, catching up nicely 💧 Irrigation / Dripper Test 👉 Working perfectly – plants love it. Consistent watering = smoother, more even growth. Timing already feels well dialed in. 🌸 Flower / Stretch (Day 5) A few days into 12/12 → stretch has started but still controlled. First flower signs are showing, everything on track. 🔜 Outlook Stretch will increase Light defoliation / lollipop prep coming up Minor irrigation tweaks if needed Conclusion: The “diva phase” is over – now it’s running smooth. System works, plants respond. In the end, the jar decides. 🍯 Grow on 🌱

RockoCalenberg Day 56 | Flower Day 12 The stretch is now running at full speed — and the differences between the three genetics become more obvious every single day. That’s exactly why I love doing comparison runs like this. 👀 🌡️ Environment & Setup The drip irrigation keeps everything stable and the girls clearly appreciate the consistent moisture with strong daily growth and steady vertical push. The 90×60 tent is filling up nicely now, but every lady still more or less keeps her own 30×60 lane — exactly how the setup was planned. 🌿 Chicken & Waffles Absolute beast. You bend her down and a few hours later she’s standing back upright like nothing ever happened. 😅 The strength and vigor of this genetic is honestly insane. Huge internodal spacing, aggressive stretch and nonstop forward momentum. Still the biggest plant in the tent right now and definitely the powerhouse of this run. 🍓 Fruit Bomb Punch Fruit Bomb Punch is catching up fast now though. After the rougher start with topping stress and the hotter fresh soil, she finally seems fully acclimated and is starting to explode with growth. Her structure stays a bit airier compared to Strawberry AK, but you can definitely start seeing that XXL sativa-style energy the breeder talks about. 🌲 Strawberry AK Still the picture-perfect plant of the tent. Untouched, extremely clean structure and just rock solid overall. Very compact, nicely bushy and still vigorous enough to keep up without any real training. A true space-filler with an incredibly tidy shape. Probably the easiest and most stable plant of the entire run so far. ✨ Overall The stretch is fully underway now and the tent feels alive. All three plants are developing their own very clear personalities and that’s what makes this comparison so interesting right now. Everything is still manageable — but the next 1–2 weeks will probably decide who truly takes over the tent. 😄 In the end, the jar decides. ? Grow on 🌱

🍯 Grow on 🌱 Flower Day 22 | Day 66 overall 🌸 Yesterday was lollipopping day — and quite a lot came off. The stretch finally seems to be slowing down now… at least it feels like it. 😄 From here on, the ladies can hopefully start focusing more on proper bud stacking, weight and mass. And honestly, the last 7–10 days have been completely insane. Especially the Fruit Bomb Punch absolutely hit the turbo again. I rarely see a plant explode that hard within such a short time. Early on she was actually the most sensitive plant in the tent after the hot soil mix, the Spruzit stress and the topping — and now she completely dominates the middle of the canopy. Absolute madness. 🚀 The Chicken & Waffles and the Fruit Bomb Punch are now both sitting around 1.10–1.12 m tall, although the Fruit Bomb has slightly taken the lead and now towers above everything else in the center of the tent. And that’s only because she already got three clips to pull her sideways — basically supercropping without actually supercropping. Without those clips she would probably be somewhere around 1.25 m, 1.30 m or maybe even higher by now. Just crazy how hard she stretched. You can really tell that despite the topping she still wants to become one giant dominant shoot monster. One of the two main tops clearly became much stronger than the other and is now absolutely blasting upwards. And then there’s the smell… the Fruit Bomb Punch truly deserves her name. 🍓💥 This thing is a legitimate fruit bomb. Extremely loud, extremely intense and completely fills the room. Probably the strongest and most aggressive terp profile in the entire run so far. The Strawberry AK, on the other hand, remains the absolute textbook plant of the run. Compact, bushy, incredibly healthy and completely packed with budsites. Height-wise she can’t compete with the two monsters, but that’s exactly what makes her so interesting: she built an insane amount of strong side branches and budsites — honestly way more than the Fruit Bomb Punch. So she might secretly become the true yield monster in the end. Not through height, but through pure mass and structure. 😄 After lollipopping I even raised her slightly on top of a pot so she can stay better within the canopy and get more light to all those tops. Her structure is just ridiculously clean. Honestly, she barely needed any work during the whole grow. The Chicken & Waffles is also turning into a complete monster by now. Despite being completely untopped she developed tons of beautiful side branches and created a surprisingly even canopy. For an untopped plant, that’s seriously impressive. Those huge internodal gaps that initially looked almost too wild are now allowing light to penetrate deep into the plant and all the side branches are exploding as well. Terp-wise the three ladies are also separating more and more now: The Fruit Bomb Punch is just pure loud fruit. The Strawberry AK leans into a creamier, softer candy-fruit direction. And the Chicken & Waffles currently stays more on the spicy side. Technically the run is also going surprisingly smooth right now. The drippers are running consistently morning, noon and evening — honestly couldn’t ask for much better. The plants seem extremely stable and happy with it, especially during this explosive phase of growth. Temperature-wise things are still under control too, although humidity is slowly starting to creep up. But with this amount of leaf mass and growth, that’s hardly surprising anymore. 😄 Health-wise the run currently looks really great overall. Basically nothing concerning besides the normal lightening during flower progression. No real deficiencies, no major problems — exactly how you want things to go. 🙏 Now it’s time for bud stacking, weight gain and hopefully not completely growing into the tent roof. 😅 In the end, the jar decides. 🍯 Grow on 🌱

🍓🔥🌱 Flower Day 29 | Day 73 Overall 🌱 The three girls have really turned into absolute beauties by now and are looking seriously impressive at the moment. Any small early issues after transplanting and settling into the big pots are long gone — the run is cruising along beautifully right now. The Fruit Bomb Punch is still completely insane though. Even after several clips and heavy height control she’s already sitting around 1.15 m tall and probably would’ve gone completely out of control without it. Absolute monster. The terp profiles are also showing more and more personality now. Strawberry AK still leans into that creamy fruity direction, while Fruit Bomb Punch is fully living up to her name already — a straight-up fruit bomb. Chicken & Waffles is developing more into a spicy, herbal direction so far. That profile will probably keep evolving, but no… it definitely doesn’t smell like fried chicken or waffles. 😄 Climate-wise the nights recently were actually a bit too cold. Temperatures dropped down to around 17 °C at times, which is getting a little uncomfortable for the ladies. Humidity is also a bit higher than I’d like right now, but we’ll have to ride it out and hope for some drier conditions again soon. You can really see now how differently all three plants are expressing their own character — and that’s exactly what makes comparison runs so much fun. In the end, the jar decides. 🍓🔥🌱

RockoCalenberg Day 80 overall / Flower Day 36 🌱 The tent has completely developed its own character by now. 😄 And it’s becoming brutally obvious just how different these three ladies really are. Chicken’n’Waffles almost looks the “most finished” in terms of overall appearance at this point. Nicely spread out, stable, with classic chunky buds and a very confident overall structure. The tops are stacking nicely and the plant just looks very balanced overall. It had enough stretch to stay open and healthy, while still remaining far more controlled than the Fruit Bomb Punch. Right now it almost feels like the most harmonious plant in the tent. Fruit Bomb Punch, on the other hand, is still completely out of control. 😄 These internodal distances are just absurd. Honestly, nobody really needs spacing like this. Without that brutally fruity terp profile, most people would probably say: “Thanks for the half-built ladder between the buds.” The plant remains extremely open in structure. At the same time though, you can now clearly see it slowly starting to connect those gaps with more and more flower mass. It doesn’t look nearly as “naked” anymore as it did one or two weeks ago. Still, this remains more wild XXL sativa energy than compact efficiency. That giant spear cola still looks absolutely insane and without clips and aggressive bending, it probably would have blasted somewhere into the 1.30 m+ range by now. Strawberry AK remains absolute textbook structure. There’s barely any wasted space here: short internodes dense stacking calm structure beautiful main cola even canopy The main cola especially is getting ridiculously thick and might currently even be slightly ahead when it comes to pure top size. While Fruit Bomb Punch spreads its mass across multiple levels, Strawberry AK stacks everything much more compactly and efficiently. The creamy fruity terp profile fits that structure perfectly as well. Terp-wise, the overall picture now matches the plants perfectly: • Fruit Bomb Punch → loud, aggressive, full fruit explosion • Strawberry AK → creamy, fruity and compact • Chicken’n’Waffles → more spicy, unique and slower developing Overall, the stress from the past weeks is completely gone by now. The plants look healthy and stable, and despite the completely different growth structures, the canopy is still surprisingly well controlled. The lollipopping is also paying off visibly now. There’s much more airflow and structure underneath, while the plants are clearly focusing their energy on the upper budsites instead of wasting it on lower undergrowth. Climate-wise, high humidity remains the main issue at the moment. Everything is still within a manageable range, but moving deeper into flower, things could definitely become a bit drier now. Because of that, a dehumidifier has already been ordered as a precaution. Let’s see when the thing actually arrives — and whether the ladies keep cruising along this relaxed until then. 😄 And that’s exactly why this comparison run is becoming so much fun: Not just three similar plants in different colors — but three completely different personalities sharing the same tent. In the end, the jar decides. 🌱

RockoCalenberg 🌱 Tag 88 | 🌸 Flower Day 44 Three Plants, Three Personalities While Strawberry AK and Chicken & Waffles continue to develop increasingly compact flower structures, Fruit Bomb Punch remains true to her more sativa-leaning appearance. Her colas are growing longer and more spear-shaped, appearing noticeably less uniform than those of her two competitors. Fruit Bomb Punch is somewhat the wild child of the field and makes it most obvious that she enjoys a hearty breakfast. As the hungriest plant in the grow, she also carries the most visible marks of the constantly changing conditions. Nevertheless, she keeps pushing forward, working relentlessly on her XXL buds and adding more flower mass week after week. Strawberry AK remains the calm mediator between the extremes. She quietly goes about her business, steadily developing her flowers without creating much drama along the way. Chicken & Waffles, on the other hand, is still standing deep green in the tent and looks as if she's rather amused by all the climate chaos of the past week. She keeps grinning cheekily at the camera as though she hasn't noticed any of the fluctuations at all. While the other two occasionally show small signs of the changing conditions, she simply carries on as if everything is going exactly according to plan. 😄?🌱 There is also some news on the environmental front: the long-awaited dehumidifier has finally arrived and has been integrated into the setup. After the persistently humid weeks, reinforcements were long overdue. Whether it will turn out to be the game changer I'm hoping for remains to be seen. For now, it's time to observe, collect data and see what the newest member of the team can actually bring to the table. Even though conditions haven't always been ideal lately, all three ladies are looking better than one might expect after a week of weather-related ups and downs. The buds keep stacking, resin production is visibly increasing, and opening the tent now comes with a proper wall of terpenes. 🍓💥?🌱

RockoCalenberg Day 94 | Flower Day 50 The past week brought several interesting developments. The newly installed dehumidifier is now up and running and is already showing its first positive effects. While humidity remains a challenge during rainy weather, the environment is becoming noticeably easier to manage than it was just a few weeks ago. Fruit Bomb Punch 🍓💥 Fruit Bomb Punch is currently the biggest surprise in the tent. At flip, the small plant with its lighter foliage and roughly 40 cm height looked anything but a candidate for XXL yields. Now, however, it is becoming increasingly clear that the breeder's claims were not exaggerated. The characteristic wild and somewhat chaotic structure remains, but the formerly airy spears are steadily transforming into thick, swelling colas. Bud sites are merging together more and more, and the plant is visibly packing on size and weight. With each passing week, it becomes easier to understand why this cultivar is marketed as an XXL variety. Strawberry AK 🍓🍬 Strawberry AK remains the most compact plant of the Terp Test. What stands out most is the sheer amount of leaf material within the buds. At the same time, the sugar leaves are now so heavily coated in resin that it is sometimes difficult to tell where the leaves end and the flowers begin. Despite her leafy appearance, the buds are developing dense, heavy structure and continue to impress. Chicken & Waffles ?🐔 Chicken & Waffles continues to look exceptionally healthy and stable. The most eye-catching feature is the beautiful cathedral-like structure of the main colas. Tapering to a point at the top and supported by heavily swollen calyxes below, the plant displays a very balanced and elegant flower structure. The buds appear noticeably fuller than they did just a few weeks ago and are producing an impressive amount of resin. Final Thoughts While Strawberry AK and Chicken & Waffles have already bulked up considerably, Fruit Bomb Punch seems to be shifting into another gear. The biggest takeaway from this week is that Fruit Bomb Punch is finally providing visible proof of its XXL genetics. What looked like a somewhat scruffy outsider just a few weeks ago is steadily turning into a serious contender for the largest buds in the tent. The Terp Test continues — in the end, the jar decides. 🏆🍓💥🌱

RockoCalenberg Tag 101 | Flowering Day 57 🌱 The past few days have once again been all about the climate. Between dry phases, rain, and high outdoor humidity, managing the conditions in the tent has continued to be a daily challenge. And the reason for this is quickly found. The weather is currently the boss. The dehumidifier has at least worked its way up to the deputy shift manager. However, it can't fully take over the operation yet. Still, the plants have decided to keep working. There are no major complaints to be heard. Instead, stacking continues, frosty conditions persist, and work on the buds goes on. The changing conditions of the past weeks have left visible traces. At the same time, it is also clear that all three plants continue to invest energy into the buds, and the ripening process is visibly progressing. The Chicken & Waffles remains the unflappable one in the tent. While discussions are still ongoing beside her, she stoically continues to push mass onto the buds. Especially the swollen calyxes and the increasingly dense frost layer are now eye-catching. The buds appear fuller week by week and are slowly developing their final shape. On the other hand, the Fruit Bomb Punch remains the wild child of the group. The long spears continue to gain volume but retain their wild and open structure. The lighter color and her high consumption show that she has probably felt the effects of the fluctuating conditions of the past weeks the most. Nevertheless, she is visibly still working on the buds and shows many fresh stigmas. She is far from finished. The Strawberry AK remains the model student in the tent. Compact structure, even development, and now noticeable brightening of the large fan leaves indicate that the final flowering is slowly setting in. The first reserves are being mobilized while the buds continue to gain density. In the upper canopy, some leaves show slightly upward-curved tips, while the rest of the plant remains inconspicuous. Since no further signs of stress are visible, this seems more like a sign of high activity under the light rather than a real problem. The overall impression is particularly pleasing. After the difficult weeks with high humidity and changeable weather, all three plants continue to show healthy development. Instead of stagnation, there is visible bud formation, increasing resin production, and more character in the individual strains. The finish line is slowly coming into view, but work is still ongoing. And the three ladies are currently doing remarkably well. 🌱💚 Rocko's Terp Test 2026 🥇 Chicken & Waffles – The Unflappable 💥 Fruit Bomb Punch – The Wild Child 🎓 Strawberry AK – The Model Student In the end, the glass decides 🌱💚

RockoCalenberg Tag 108 | Flowering Day 64 Rocko's Terp Test featuring: Apokalypse Grow ☀️🔥 The weather is currently in charge. To counteract the summer temperatures, the entire light cycle has been shifted to nighttime hours from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM this week. Additionally, the two XS1500 Pros are now running at only 40% power. I even briefly considered moving the cycle to 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM to avoid the worst of the afternoon heat. For now, though, it remains at 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM. At this stage, it’s no longer about squeezing out the last yield, but rather bringing the plants to the finish line as gently as possible. The goal remains clear: fruit bomb instead of heat bomb. The entire system is currently running in a warm soup between 26 and 31 °C, instead of swinging between cool and hot like it did a few weeks ago. The climate data looks more critical at first glance than the plants actually appear. Despite the muggy weather, the current pictures show surprisingly stable plants. They are visibly drawing from their leaf reserves without the flowers showing significant signs of heat stress. Given the summer temperatures under the roof, around 30 to 31 °C during the light phase is currently a quite acceptable compromise. Chicken & Waffles provides probably the most spectacular sight this week. The sugar leaves are now displaying deep violet tones almost to black and show some burgundy nuances that are hard to capture in photos. Together with the massive layer of resin, the plant looks almost frozen. The top resembles several small onion church towers. With its organic, slightly twisted shapes, it almost looks like a structure that could have sprung from a Hundertwasser design. I’ve never seen such a look in any grow before. Fruit Bomb Punch impressively shows this week the influence that training has had on its growth. Due to repeated clipping during the stretch, no classic main cola could develop. Instead, the top bud forms a proper five-point star from the top view with nearly equally tall peaks. From the side, the same area looks like a slender tower made of stacked flower segments. The other, less affected side branches, however, show the typical flowering structure of the strain, making the influence of the training particularly clear. Strawberry AK remains true to its line. The classic candle shape with its distinctive main cola has been preserved to this day. At the same time, it shows the most pronounced autumn fade and is consistently utilizing the last reserves from its fan leaves. There are also differences in the trichomes now. Chicken & Waffles is currently slightly ahead, with Strawberry AK surprisingly close behind. Fruit Bomb Punch, on the other hand, is just beginning to visibly cloud. Whether it can catch up in the coming week will be shown in the next macro shots. In the end, the glass decides. 🍯🌱

RockoCalenberg Blütetag 71 | Tag 115 🎬 Rocko's Terp Test – featuring: Apokalypse Grow, Volume 2. My goodness, what a week... Just back from rehab, and the climate curves greet me with a pattern like the ECG of a heart attack patient. Constant heat, extremely high humidity, and conditions that push both plants and growers to their limits. There's definitely no talk of a relaxed final sprint. After the first thorough checks at home, I also noticed that the thrip infestation has developed significantly more than it seemed before my departure. However, in the late flowering stage, the options for action are limited. Sucking off infested leaves, hanging fresh yellow sticky traps, and checking daily – I really don't want to put the buds through much more at this stage. Those little pests are unfortunately having their own garden party in this weather. Of course, a detailed trichome check was also on the agenda. Finally, I could take a close look at all three strains again. The result: They are surprisingly close to each other now. The trichomes are getting milkier, but we are still a bit away from true harvest readiness. To be honest, in this weather, you'd want to grab the scissors immediately – but harvesting is done based on ripeness, not the weather report. So, it's a matter of holding on and giving the ladies the time they need to reach their full potential. Unfortunately, the weather extremes didn't stop there. Of all strains, the Fruit Bomb Punch already showed the first signs of mold on the main cola. Luckily, I noticed this in time during my thorough inspection after returning. I removed the affected area decisively – not just a few leaves, but several complete flower clusters from a side branch of the main cola. In total, three flower sites had to be completely removed, and a fourth partially. As a result, the tip now looks a bit nibbled. That really hurt, but I'd rather sacrifice part of the harvest than give mold the chance to spread further into the main stem. I'm convinced I shouldn't have waited even half a day longer to react. The affected area is now intentionally wide open to allow air and light in so everything can dry cleanly. The good news is that Chicken & Waffles and Strawberry AK are still presenting themselves mold-free at this point. Let's hope it stays that way. Visually, the three ladies are still very appealing for the harvest. Chicken & Waffles is definitely the eye-catcher for me this week. The dark coloring combined with the thick layer of resin looks absolutely cinematic now – completely frosted and a real showstopper. The Fruit Bomb Punch remains a real beast despite the first mold surgery. The huge buds are pushing forward, the intense fruit aroma lives up to its name, and it seems like a juicy fruit is slowly reaching its full ripeness. Now it just needs to make it through the last stretch healthy. The Strawberry AK continues to showcase its strengths: compact, beautifully structured, and with that wonderfully spicy strawberry scent that immediately makes you crave the harvest. A true classic in the tent. The crazy thing is: At first glance, all three could almost seem ready for harvest. Under the magnifying glass, however, it quickly becomes clear that a bit more patience is needed. It would be a shame to get impatient in the final stretch. The last meters will definitely not be a walk in the park anymore. Now it's about checking daily, staying calm, and getting the three ladies across the finish line as healthy as possible. Keep your fingers crossed that the weather witch finally has a change of heart. In the end, it all comes down to the glass.🌱💚✌️

RockoCalenberg Flower Day 78 | Total Day 122 The final stretch has been reached. After the turbulent weeks with heat, high humidity, and all sorts of weather caprices, all three strains are just about to reach the finish line. It's really just about the last days of ripening now – but unfortunately, nature has its own plans. With the Fruit Bomb Punch, I already had to generously remove the first moldy buds. And as if that wasn't enough, the Strawberry AK has also been hit at the top bud. So it was time to pull out the scissors and perform a little emergency surgery. Luckily, I was able to remove the affected area in time and hope that both plants can make it through these last meters healthy. Chicken & Wafflez has become an absolute eye-catcher for me. The dark sugar leaves look like they've been painted with black ink and then dusted with powdered sugar. On top of that, there's an incredible layer of resin – every time it's a pleasure to look at. The Fruit Bomb Punch is really stepping up its aroma game. The fruity terpene profile is becoming more intense and makes me really excited for what awaits us in the jar after drying. The Strawberry AK has surprisingly handled the intervention well and continues to present itself as a beautiful, compact plant. Looking through the microscope, it’s clear: the goal is within reach. The trichomes are mostly milky, but I would like a bit more amber. Actually, the ladies need a few more days. That's what makes the situation so difficult right now. The ripeness calls for a bit of patience, but the mold definitely does not. At the moment, I have no choice but to keep a close eye on them every day. In the end, it all comes down to the jar. ✌️🌱💚

RockoCalenberg 🍓 Strawberry AK – Harvest Report (Flowering Day 82) Actually, the Strawberry AK wasn't quite at its destination yet. A few more days would have probably done it good. But after a main cola was affected by mold and shortly after that, mold appeared on a side branch as well, the decision was made: The axe had to come out. Better to harvest a bit early than to lose more buds every day. The trichomes were mostly milky, with a few still clear and some starting to show amber heads. So, the perfect harvest window hadn't quite been reached, but given the circumstances, there was no other reasonable choice. The harvest was done not because of ripeness, but to save the remaining yield. Harvest result: 110 g wet weight. After trimming, the impression was confirmed: The Strawberry AK was indeed quite leafy. The sugar leaves were extremely resinous, but they also created a lot of extra work with the scissors. Anyone looking to trim quickly should keep this in mind. The smell is still very promising after trimming. A spicy-sweet aroma immediately fills the nose and makes you eager for the curing. At around 80 cm in final height, the Strawberry AK was by far the most compact plant of the Terp Test. At the same time, it was also the easiest to care for. Aside from removing a few leaves, it practically needed no training, showing itself to be uncomplicated throughout the entire grow and seemed to have a healthy appetite for watering and feeding. Despite its compact size, it ultimately produced the thickest and densest buds of the entire run. This is a clear thumbs up for growers with limited height. While Chicken & Wafflez and especially the Fruitbomb Punch needed regular shaping and tying down, the Strawberry AK could essentially just grow and still remained pleasantly compact. Anyone with only a 1.80 m tent or generally limited height should find it much more relaxed to work with. In summary, it’s an uncomplicated, easy-to-care-for strain with strong buds, excellent resin production, and a promising aroma. It's a shame it couldn't reach its full potential due to the mold before the optimal harvest time. Under better conditions, a bit more might have been possible here. Rest in Peace, Strawberry AK. 🍓🔥🙏 In the end, the jar decides.

RockoCalenberg Chicken & Wafflez Harvest Report 🍗✂️✅ Flowering Week 12 – Harvest Time On flowering day 84, the Chicken & Wafflez was ready. It was clear to the naked eye that it had reached its peak ripeness. The trichomes appeared whiter and frostier day by day. Just before the harvest, this radiant white slowly lost its shine and took on a slightly creamy, yellowish tone. Together with the increasingly ripening leaves, this was the clear sign for me: It's done. Even during the harvest, it became clear: These are not huge XXL buds. The strength of the Chicken & Wafflez lies not in the size of individual buds, but in their uniform structure and exceptional appearance. Visually, the Chicken & Wafflez is a real highlight. The colas resemble small church towers completely covered in frost overnight – the deep violet, almost black, creates an incredible contrast with the thick layer of sparkling trichomes. Equally impressive was its growth. Despite slight bending, the plant reached a final height of 115 cm and showed enormous vigor from day one. The branches kept standing up on their own, wanting to grow upwards. Almost like a little beast – similar to the Fruitbomb Punch, but significantly easier and pleasantly simple to manage throughout the entire grow. Countless side branches ended up almost all at the same height, forming an exceptionally even flower canopy. Only the main stem protruded a bit above. You really don’t see so many equally strong tops on one plant very often. That’s exactly what makes the Chicken & Wafflez special for me: uncomplicated, vigorous, and one of the easiest plants to care for throughout the entire Terp Test, from seedling to harvest. The strain also showcased its strengths during trimming. Compared to many other plants, there was significantly less leaf mass, making the harvest pleasant and quick. Wet weight: 140 grams on about 0.18 m² of growing area (30 × 60 cm). The aroma of the Chicken & Wafflez also takes its own path. While the other two strains were more fruity-sweet, it presents itself as distinctly spicier. Right at harvest, the typical character became clearer: a pleasant spice combined with a subtle sweetness that actually resembles maple syrup. This mix already makes the terpene profile unmistakable and clearly sets the Chicken & Wafflez apart from the other two strains in the Terp Test. The Chicken & Wafflez is not a classic heavy yielder with huge monster buds. Its strengths clearly lie elsewhere: enormous growth power, an excellently uniform plant structure, many strong tops, and an extraordinary appearance that has impressed from the first to the last flowering day. Therefore, the 140 grams of wet weight on 0.18 m² is a result I am absolutely satisfied with. My personal conclusion is therefore consistently positive. Those who are solely focused on maximum yields will probably prefer other strains. However, anyone looking for an uncomplicated, highly vigorous plant with enormous vigor, a perfectly even flower canopy, and exceptionally beautiful, frosty buds should definitely take a closer look at the Chicken & Wafflez. Easy growing from seedling to harvest – just how you wish for a genetics. In the end, it’s all about the jar. ✌️🌱💚

The Fruitbomb Punch was the most extraordinary strain in the Terp Test. Right from its growth, it stood out with its wild, restless structure. With internodes of up to 20 cm, it was by far the most stretched phenotype in the test. The long distances between the nodes, the many individual flower towers, and the overall somewhat scruffy build gave it a unique character. This growth form made trimming a bit more labor-intensive, even though it had relatively little leaf material overall. At the top, nice firm colas developed, while the lower areas remained significantly airier. But its biggest highlight is clearly the aroma. Fruit is the name of the game here – but not with a typical strawberry sweetness like in the Strawberry AK, rather much more complex. Ripe fruit aromas define the profile and consistently carry through the entire impression: fruity when inhaling, fruity when exhaling. A distinct terpene profile that clearly sets it apart from the other two strains. For those seeking intense fruit aromas and extraordinary terpenes, the Fruitbomb Punch is a strain with a lot of character. Maybe not the neatest plant in the tent – but definitely one of the most distinctive.

RockoCalenberg Rocko's Terp Test – Fruitbomb Punch | Harvest on Flowering Day 87 ✅✂️🌡️ As the last remaining plant in the Terp Test, the Fruitbomb Punch was allowed to stand until Flowering Day 87. After the previous mold issues with the other two candidates, this was almost a little luxury. With a wet weight of 130 g, it finally said goodbye as the conclusion of the run. Just like throughout the entire flowering period, it stayed true to its line. The buds grew long and rather spear-shaped, nice and compact and firm at the top, while becoming noticeably looser towards the bottom. Not a classic "stone bud" strain, but a variety with a more open flower structure. When trimming, it proved to be pleasantly straightforward. Little leaf mass, which made the harvest go relatively quickly. But the highlight is clearly the aroma. While the name "Fruitbomb" is not there for nothing, it's not just a pure strawberry number. Rather, it reminds one of a basket full of ripe fruits – sweet, tropical, and slightly overripe, almost leaning towards fermented fruit. A very unique, intense terpene mix that clearly sets itself apart from Strawberry AK and Chicken & Wafflez. Now begins, as always, the most exciting part: the time in the jar. Only after curing will it show whether the Fruitbomb Punch can also showcase its full potential in terms of taste and effect. In the end, the jar decides. ✌️🌱💚

@RockoCalenberg Search processes? This autocorrect 🤭🤣 should actually mean something else 😅 So far, my Buddha is handling it pretty well, but 8 liters of water every 2 days is really intense.

@GreenHobbit, 😄 Yes, with the heat, everyone is just thirstier right now – humans, animals, and plants. 🌱💚

@GreenHobbit, That's exactly it. 👍🏻 Before, I often had over 70% humidity during rain, now the dehumidifier usually keeps it just below that. Sure, 55-60% would be nicer, but even just those few percent make a noticeable difference. I'll try the reduced exhaust during rain. I'm also sitting right under the roof, so I can immediately feel every rain shower in the values. 😅💚✌️

@RockoCalenberg, Regen, Sonne, warm, kalt.

@GreenHobbit, Under the roof, you struggle with heat and humidity, in the shed it might be cold nights, condensation, or some visitors with six or eight legs. 🤣 Nature always finds something to keep you on your toes. 🤷🏻‍♂️😅💚

@RockoCalenberg, Otherwise, you would probably stop quickly. It does take time, effort, and money. Depending on the situation, sometimes more, sometimes less.

@GrowerBaal, Stimmt absolut.

With the different heights, 2 lamps are really worth their weight in gold😅 I had to bring everything to the same height with costs😅

@GreenHobbit, Yes, absolutely 😄 With two lights, you're just way more flexible. The Chicken & Waffles would otherwise grow completely into the sun, while the Strawberry AK sits in the shade below 😅 This way, I can at least adjust the angles, distance, and intensity a bit more individually, without having to deal with stacks of books or pot Tetris directly 😂💚✌️

@RockoCalenberg I could sing you a song about that… my purple Punch is 45cm tall and I had to tie down the Blueberry at 120cm. This grow should actually be called "the tall tale"🤣
