I started feeding these little lady, the other day. not much.. i used the base line measurements of my Remo Nutrients.. i also didn't flood them.. i split a dose one cup of nutrients, to one cup of water. They seemed to enjoy the drink so.. I guess we just keep moving along. also i swore id stop being the guy who's posted purple photos all the time none likes that. but its hard when the lights on for 20 hours a day lol Next week will be better..I hope.. No purple photos this week ! thats a bonus! sorry about last weeks pics.. they sucked. lets be honest. I was in a rush and for that I am sorry lol Another great week here in the cariboo, transplant day went off without a hitch. successfully moving these girls from their seeding cups to some 1 Gallon Airpots. These wonderful lady are very happy and showing great rooting as well as vertical growth, probably has something to do with them receiving their first full dose of the Remo Nutes. I had a few hiccups in the last weeks prior, the funds just weren't there to purchase a new tent setup.. and I had way to many plants crammed into a 2'X2' space. needless to say the plants were unhappy so we waited until things started to settle down again before sharing. So now I've added a second 2'x2'x4' Tent setup which is housing the Shiskaberry girls. I managed to get myself a decent setup for $300CAN 2x2x4 tent 600Watt full spec LED 4" fan filter combo Thus far in my beginner growing career I have had pretty good luck with the cheaper gear all off amazon as well...my local hydro store just can't compete.. plus they honestly don't seam to have any interest in the "first time growers" that run through their store. They only ever have 1000Watt HPS gear they don't even carry LED lights.. I just feel like they're stuck in the 90's era. lol they need to get with the times bring in a couple tent setups and maybe put they're own smaller grow closet style kits together and maybe they'd drum up some new custys.. Regardless ! these girls are certainly happy now that they have some room to stretch out.. they have also been topped this week.. leaving 6-8 branches that I'll Scrog out with my screen again ! As far as structure goes these girls seem to be pretty compact, with lots of internal noding starting already. But its hard to say when they've been bunched up so bad.. They're looking very happy if I do say so myself. They are however really starting to show some really cool colours on the stalks. Seems to be another Home run from Barneys Farm. The vigour this plant has is incredible, the amount of internal nodding is super tight. But it grows so quickly i swear theres 15 new nodes each day. That being said I've taken some cuttings to hopefully create a new Budzai project. This was also used to bring the canopy down to a more level spread. All my garden ties have been removed, and in went the screen. Not far from flower Now! With this big stretch I'm thinking ill have to lift the screen and do some serious trimming. there is a ton of underside growth. Look out for next weeks post. I wish I had a better camera for some nicer photos of the forming bud sites, they're simply incredible. In my opinion if you grow cannabis not only for the finished product.. but truly enjoy the experience of growing.. this should be one of you favourite stages of the process (IMO) I just love seeing them turn into Aliens :) Cleaning up the undercarriage again here slowly during the week removing lots of the shaded new growth. trying my best to remove fan leaves to free some Light farther into the canopy. These girls have started to stack up. Moved my 6" fan under the canopy, turned on to low and blowing up through the centre of the canopy to keep the air moving is this jungle! Cut the MagnifiCalMag out this week. looking good so far. So far everyone is still standing upright lol and I even got a photo of my cheap @$$ light I'm running LOLz shout out to my Growmie Frags for calling my broke ass out.. all in good fun though, in the end... grow with whatever you can.. Six weeks on 12/12 and the tent smells like blueberry pie.. such a sweet berry aroma I couldn't be more impressed. Bud structure on these girls is short Compact but Dense & Hearty... these plants obviously loved the training & topping. I can't wait to harvest this one. I then flipped the screen and hung dry for ten drys with just the filtration system drawing air over the buds to dry them (turned the small fan off) The amazon ad for my light says actual draw is 90-110watt.. but its labeled as 600.. Im starting to think better lights might be helpful as the next step in upgrading my setup....? what do you think lol ? be nice... if you have any constructive criticism hit me up down in the comments !
