WaffleTerps Week 1 – Germination week complete All seeds have successfully germinated and the cycle is now moving into early vegetative growth. Emergence has been quite uniform overall, with one plant developing slightly slower than the others, which is completely normal when starting from seed. Cotyledons opened correctly and the first true leaves are already forming. Environmental conditions during this first stage have been kept stable: • Temperature: ~21.5–22 °C • Relative humidity: ~64–65 % • VPD: ~0.9 kPa • PPFD: ~190–200 µmol/m²/s • Soil EC: ~0.38–0.40 mS/cm Plants are growing in 15.2 L fabric pots with an aerated substrate mix. Irrigation has been done with small localized waterings (~200 ml per pot) to keep the root zone active while avoiding oversaturation of the entire container. Compared to the previous cycle, the main improvement this run is tighter environmental control. Soil sensors are now being used to monitor moisture and EC more precisely, allowing much better control of irrigation and root development from the beginning. The previous run left me with a bit of a bittersweet feeling. It was a good first experience, but I know there was still a lot of room for improvement. This cycle the goal is simple: take everything learned from that run and really try to master the process. We are currently waiting for a humidifier to arrive, which should help stabilize humidity levels even further during early vegetative growth. So far everything is progressing smoothly. The focus for the next days will be on building a strong root system, maintaining stable climate conditions, and gradually increasing light intensity as the plants continue to establish themselves.

WaffleTerps First week of vegetative growth completed. The plants are now established in their final pots and growth is compact and healthy so far. Throughout the week we gradually increased light intensity, slowly raising the canopy up to ~320 PPFD to allow a smooth adaptation without stressing the young plants. Next week we will continue the same approach, progressively increasing light levels toward ~400 PPFD as the plants gain more leaf mass. We are also closely monitoring the substrate conditions using soil sensors, tracking moisture, EC and soil temperature. This helps us maintain the medium well-aerated with proper dry-back cycles, which is especially important when starting directly in large pots. This week we performed a light irrigation to stimulate early root development: Irrigation: 4 L total — 500 ml per plant pH 6.1 EC 450 µS Recipe (per L): • Silic Rock — 0.25 ml → strengthens plant structure and stress resistance • Cal-Mag — 0.4 ml → ensures calcium and magnesium availability in early growth • Bio-Heaven — 1 ml → improves nutrient uptake and metabolic activity • Root Juice — 1 ml → promotes early root development • Liquid Oxygen — 0.3 ml → oxygenates and keeps the root zone clean For the next irrigations we will continue using data-driven dry-back cycles, allowing the substrate to dry progressively to encourage strong root expansion. Build with data, not hype. WF

WaffleTerps We continued increasing PPFD progressively up to ~320–340, keeping a stable environment (23–24°C, 60–65% RH, VPD ~1.0) to promote compact growth. Irrigation this week: • 12/03 → 600 ml/plant pH 6.3 | EC ~430 µS Silic, CalMag, Bio-Heaven, Root Juice + Liquid Oxygen In this feeding we introduced microbes (~0.2 g/L), which increased EC and pH (expected behavior), adjusting pH afterwards. We continue working with progressive ring watering to encourage root expansion in 15L fabric pots, avoiding over-saturation. Some plants show slightly droopy leaves, typical at this stage due to root zone adjustment. We also detected early signs of thrips (leaf stippling) still in an early stage, but already present, so we’ll address it early to prevent it from establishing and impacting development in the coming weeks.

WaffleTerps This week was all about structure and control. We focused on progressive LST, opening the canopy properly, reducing apical dominance and spreading the side branches so more tops can start receiving direct light. We also did a selective cleanup of fan leaves, lower leaves and a few that were touching the substrate or creating unnecessary shade, leaving the lower zone cleaner and improving airflow. On the environmental side, we fine-tuned the setup through the week, gradually increasing light intensity until we reached around 500 PPFD and improving the balance between temperature, humidity and VPD to support growth more efficiently. The goal was not to force the plants, but to organize the structure, distribute energy better and build a stronger base before the next step. The difference is already noticeable compared to the start of the week: the plants are more open, side branches are more exposed and light penetration into the center is clearly better. The next goal is to keep watching each plant’s response, continue watering by pot weight, and very soon start topping the most advanced plants, always progressively and with canopy uniformity in mind.

WaffleTerps Heavy irrigation day focused on resetting substrate conditions and improving homogeneity across all pots. Applied 2.5L per plant with a target of 15–20% runoff. Drainage was uneven (some pots around 500–600 ml, others significantly lower), confirming previous dry pockets and channeling inside the substrate. Runoff EC ranged between ~950–1280 µS from an input of ~680 µS, indicating moderate salt accumulation but not critical. This irrigation was aimed at rehydrating the full root zone and beginning stabilization. Environmental conditions are now dialed in: VPD around 1.15–1.20 kPa and PPFD at ~500 µmol/m²/s, which is safe for recovery phase. Light intensity will be gradually increased to 550–600 PPFD as plants regain full turgor and active growth resumes. Topping was also performed to promote lateral branching and improve canopy uniformity ahead of the next growth stage. Next step is allowing full redistribution of moisture before the following irrigation, where the goal will be achieving uniform runoff across all plants and stabilizing EC closer to input levels.

WaffleTerps The plants keep developing really well, with a much more defined structure thanks to the LST work. They’re clearly entering a more mature vegetative stage and are starting to properly fill the space in the tent. This week the focus has been on stabilizing the environment (VPD consistently around 1.0–1.1 kPa) and gradually increasing light intensity up to ~600 PPFD, preparing everything for the upcoming flip to 12/12. We also introduced drainage platforms, which give us much better control over irrigation and allow us to spot differences between pots — something we’re currently dialing in. Latest feed (07/04): • 30 L total (~3 L per plant) • EC: 1066 µS/cm • pH: 6.3 • Water temp: 20°C We’re seeing noticeable differences in runoff between plants, which indicates the substrate is still being homogenized before entering flower. We’re very close to switching to 12/12 The plan is to flip later this week once everything is fully balanced. WF – Data driven, not hype

WaffleTerps Plants are progressing very well and are now fully entering the stretch phase. Today's environment is stable at 24.3°C, 61.1% RH and 1.18 kPa VPD, a strong range for this stage. Light intensity is set at 851 PPFD, enough to drive vigorous growth and a smooth transition into flowering. This week we carried out a light selective defoliation to improve airflow, light penetration and help create a more even canopy fill through the net. Recovery has been positive and growth remains strong. On the next irrigation we switch to the flowering feed schedule and begin the automatic drip irrigation system, aiming for more stable substrate moisture, more consistent nutrient delivery and improved overall performance. Now the focus is to keep guiding tops, level the canopy and let them push hard through this phase. WF Team

WaffleTerps Week 2 Flower – Day 13 | WF | Data Driven, Not Hype Key transition week. Feeding has shifted from vegetative to early bloom, adjusting the Grow/Bloom ratio progressively. After one higher EC irrigation (~1.2), feeding was stabilized to avoid buildup. The automatic irrigation system (4 pulses/day) is now dialed in, with consistent runoff and uniform pot weight across the canopy — a big step forward in overall balance. Plant status: * Slightly lighter green → increased nutrient demand, now corrected * Stretch active but under control * No signs of lockout or overfeeding SCROG is entering a critical phase: * canopy more even * still some gaps to fill Environment stable: * VPD ~1.2–1.3 * PPFD ~850–880 (no CO₂) * Humidity under control despite frequent irrigation Conclusion (Day 13): Balanced system, active root zone, and ready to start pushing production next week.

WaffleTerps This week was key to defining the final plant structure. The stretch phase is coming to an end and bud sites are now clearly forming across the entire canopy. Main focus this week: – SCROG training and canopy distribution – Light LST adjustments to even out height – Selective removal of weak lower growth that wouldn’t reach the net The goal was clear: maximize usable canopy space and avoid wasting energy on unproductive lower zones. Environmental parameters remained stable: – Temperature: ~25–26°C – Humidity: 60–62% – VPD: ~1.1/1.2kPa – PPFD: ~850–900 Feeding kept in a transition range, without pushing EC: – EC: ~1.1–1.2 – pH: 6.2 Plants responded well overall, showing good vigor with no signs of deficiencies or excess. Development is fairly uniform, with expected phenotypic variation. Week conclusion: ✔️ Structure set ✔️ Canopy properly distributed ✔️ Clean transition into flower Next phase is critical: more aggressive lower cleanup and full focus on bulking. Data driven, not hype

WaffleTerps Week 4 completed and the crop has officially entered the bulking phase. During this week the plants clearly transitioned from early flower formation into resin and density production. The structure remains quite clean thanks to the previous SCROG work and lollipopping, allowing good light penetration and a much more organized canopy overall. This run did not end up completely filling the net, leaving a few empty spaces across the canopy. In addition, one Eleven Roses stayed noticeably smaller than the rest and never reached the same level of structural development. However, this also improved airflow and light penetration between flowers, which will probably help produce cleaner, frostier and more visually appealing buds by harvest. The main focus this week was stabilizing water consumption and adapting irrigation volume to the increasing demand. Some plants started drying considerably faster, especially the larger ones positioned closer to the center of the light footprint, so irrigation volume was gradually increased to improve hydration and runoff consistency. Environmental conditions stayed very stable throughout the week: * PPFD around 950 µmol/m²/s * VPD around 1.2–1.3 kPa * Temperatures between 24–26°C * Humidity around 58–62% The overall response has been very positive. Buds are starting to swell noticeably, resin production has increased significantly and several plants already release a strong terpene profile even just by touch. The crop continues following a balanced approach, prioritizing stability and final quality instead of forcing excessive EC or aggressive PK inputs too early. The goal for Week 5 will be consolidating the bulking phase, maintaining healthy foliage and gradually increasing feeding intensity depending on how the plants respond.

WaffleTerps Week 5 of flower completed This week the plants fully entered the bulking phase, with light intensity progressively increased until the canopy exceeded 1000 PPFD in the main zones, while maintaining a strong overall plant response and no major signs of light stress. Several irrigation adjustments were made to match the increased water consumption and nutrient demand. EC was gradually raised to around ~1300 µS, slowly reducing Bio-Grow while increasing Bio-Bloom, Top-Max, and finally introducing Bud Candy and PK 13/14. Microbes were also added to support root activity during this high metabolic phase. The plants started drying the pots much faster, a clear sign of increased transpiration and photosynthetic activity under the stronger lighting conditions. Irrigation strategy was adjusted toward more frequent and more even feedings to keep the root zone stable and avoid excessive fluctuations. One of the highlights of this week was resin production. Even before pushing PK harder or running higher Bud Candy doses, the flowers were already showing a heavy layer of trichomes on calyxes and sugar leaves, especially on the upper canopy. Aroma intensity also increased noticeably. Although the canopy was not completely full and some empty spaces remained, the more open structure improved light penetration and individual flower development, prioritizing flower quality, structure, and uniformity over an overly aggressive yield-focused approach. At this point the crop looks stable, responding well to the increase in nutrients and PPFD, now entering the key weeks for flower density and final maturation.

WaffleTerps This week the crop officially entered the final bulking phase. After pushing the environment quite hard during early-mid flower, several adjustments were made to prioritize stability and final quality over raw intensity. PPFD was progressively reduced after running above 1000+ in the upper canopy, helping lower plant stress, reduce foxtailing and stabilize temperatures during a very warm week. Even with lower light intensity, the flowers kept swelling and resin production continued increasing noticeably. Feeding strategy also shifted this week. After reaching peak EC levels, nutrient intensity was softened slightly while increasing irrigation volume and runoff to keep the root zone more stable and avoid excessive salt buildup. The goal now is maintaining healthy metabolism, hydration and terpene preservation through the final stage of flowering. Some plants started showing minor stress signals from the previous high-intensity setup, including slight tip burn and a few isolated immature seeds, most likely caused by combined environmental pressure and light intensity. Fortunately it was detected early and the crop responded well after reducing stress. Despite not having a completely full canopy, the plants are developing very clean flower structure with strong trichome production, especially in the upper colas. Aroma intensity also increased significantly this week, with several phenos already showing extremely resinous flowers and promising bag appeal heading into the final weeks.
