Growbody Hello and welcome to my new grow with the Auto Jack, Jacky White 6th Gen. from Paradise Seeds. The "parents" are Jacky White x Ruderalis, and the "grandparents" are Jack Herer and White Widow. This makes it a 75% Sativa with lemony-fruity aromas, just my thing. I'm very pleased that the seeds were kindly provided by Paradise Seeds in very nice packaging. This motivates me to document the grow process as accurately as possible.
You can find the strain URL here:
https://www.paradise-seeds.com/de/product/auto-jack/
For this grow, I'm using the 15-liter WideVersion fabric pot from ROOTiES, Sonnenerde organic hemp soil, BioBizz worm humus, Sonnenerde's organic fiber, BIONOVA + zamnesia's MonsterBud Mix Living Soil, zamnesia's Smart Start, and Plagron's Seedbooster Plus. Everything has worked out great.
Day 0: First, the grow area was thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, then the pots were prepared. Zamnesia's Smart Start Plug was watered with Plagron's Seedbooster Plus, punctured, and the hole on top was enlarged. The packaging of the Auto Jack has a slanted perforation in the middle that you need to cut through to access the seeds, which are in a small vial. With the silver cuff, the case can be closed again afterward. I placed the seed flat and slightly tipped into the hole in the Smart Start.
Day 3: Still sleeping 😴
Day 5: It's waking up 🌱
Day 6: It's struggling with its shell 🥋
Glad you stopped by. Next week continues, and I'm looking forward to having you along! 👋😎

Day 7: The Auto Jack from Paradise Seeds has emerged from the shell, still attached to a seed leaf. 0.5 liters of water.
Day 8: She's really taking off, I went ahead and lowered the lamp.
Day 9: 0.3 liters of water.
Day 10: The dip is making sense, the Auto Jack is being hilled up with root activator from Neudorff and getting plenty of space for additional roots.
Day 11: The Jacky is getting a mulch layer of 2 liters of Sonnenerde organic fiber. 0.5 liters of water.
Day 12: Insects are visible, no idea if they're beneficials or pests, but they are definitely not lacewing larvae. There should be 500 of them in the neighborhood to eat thrips. After a long search, only a few are spotted here and there. Hopefully, the delivery didn't suffer temperature damage; it was cold and sunny.
Day 13: The neighborhood is completely blooming. 0.5 liters of water.
Glad you stopped by. Next week continues, and I'm excited if you join in 👋😎

Day 15: The beneficial insects from ÖRE-Protect have arrived, 500 lacewing larvae, 5 bags with up to 1000 Amblyseus cucumeris predatory mites each. I received these as a replacement delivery, thank you for that. 0.5 liters of water.
Day 16: The lacewing larvae are clearly visible in the video. 0.5 liters of water.
Day 17: The predatory mites are hanging out with the "big ones" for now.
Day 18: The Jacky gets 0.5 liters of water.
Day 20: Tomorrow, a bag of predatory mites will come for the Auto Jack; they prefer thrips, while the lacewing larvae love to eat aphids.

Day 86: Since yesterday (33°C), it's getting hot (today 36°C) and it will stay that way all week. The Auto Jack from Paradise Seeds is now getting 1.0 liters of water daily. There are already some orange flower stigmas visible, which then turn reddish. And it has a lot of new flowers growing.
Day 88: The nematodes from Oere Bio-Protect have arrived. First, I released the PC nematodes against snails throughout the garden and kept the entire garden moist with about 100 liters of water in the evenings for the next 4 days. No more snails in sight. That's quite amazing, we live on the outskirts, behind our garden are only orchards and a stream, and that's where the snails usually come from.

Day 92: Today it’s 36°C and it will stay like this until Saturday, then it’s supposed to cool down. The Auto Jack from Paradise Seeds is now getting 0.5-1.0 liters of water several times a day.
Day 95: It rained on Sunday, and afterward, our lawn was almost covered with small 2-3cm snails, there were so many, all heading towards the house. Really spooky. Last week I released PC nematodes against snails on our property. After rain, we’re used to being invaded by snails from the neighboring orchard, but normally they’re the usual size, around 10 cm, but this time there were no big ones.
Day 96: NO snails to be seen anywhere, no small ones and certainly no big ones. Now I’m curious how long this will last. I can hardly believe it.
Day 97: The Auto Jack from Paradise Seeds is doing well in the greenhouse. You can watch the buds getting thicker.
Glad you stopped by. Next week continues, and I’m looking forward to having you with me 👋😎

https://www.paradise-seeds.com/de/product/auto-jack/
Jacky" has brought me a lot of joy. The Auto Jack, Jacky White 6th Gen. from Paradise Seeds requires a bit of patience at the beginning, but then it's very easy to grow. After 5 days, it germinated, and 5 days later it was hilled up. The node spacing was too short and too strong for LST, so I just let it grow. The flowering began in the middle of the 6th week and lasted 10 weeks. In the 6th week of flowering, it moved from the well-tempered grow room to the greenhouse. Obviously, it preferred the sun and the larger temperature changes; it developed beautifully at a compact size of 66 cm.
Last week, I found a small mold spot on it. Even though all the doors and windows in the greenhouse are open, it takes quite a while, especially on calm days, for the plants to dry out from the night moisture. A fan is needed.
It ended up being 160 grams of wet-trimmed buds. They are now in the basement in DryFerm Bags for drying. How much will ultimately go into the jar and how the first sample tastes will be revealed next week.
Many thanks to Paradise Seeds; without their support, this grow wouldn't have happened.

This motivated me to document the grow process as accurately as possible.

For this grow, I'm using the 15-liter WideVersion fabric pot from ROOTiES, the Sonnenerde organic hemp soil, the BioBizz worm humus, Sonnenerde's organic fiber, BIONOVA + zamnesia's MonsterBud Mix Living Soil, zamnesia's Smart Start, and Plagron's Seedbooster Plus. Everything has worked great.
Day 106: Moon high point, end of harvest time, beginning of planting time on flower day, an optimal harvest day. The Auto Jack, Jacky White 6th Gen. from Paradise Seeds is being harvested. Last week I found a small mold spot on it, but luckily it didn't get worse. It turned out to be 160 grams of wet-trimmed buds. They're now in the basement in DryFerm Bags for drying. More info next week.
I need to look for a battery-operated fan.
Glad you stopped by. Next week we'll continue, and I look forward to having you with me 👋😎
Jacky" has brought me a lot of joy. The Auto Jack, Jacky White 6th Gen. from Paradise Seeds requires a bit of patience at the beginning, but then it's very easy to grow. After 5 days, it sprouted, and another 5 days later, it was hilled up. The internode distances were too short and too strong for LST, so I just let it grow. The flowering started in the middle of the 6th week and lasted for 10 weeks. In the 6th week of flowering, it moved from the well-tempered grow room to the greenhouse. Obviously, it enjoyed the sun and the larger temperature fluctuations more; it developed splendidly at a compact size of 66 cm.
Last week, I found a small mold spot on it. Even though all doors and windows in the greenhouse are open, it takes quite a while, especially on windless days, for the plants to dry off from the night moisture. It needs a fan 🪭.
It turned out to be 160 grams of wet-trimmed buds. They are now in the basement in DryFerm Bags for drying. How much ends up in the jar and how the first sample tastes will be revealed next week.
It took a bit longer, but postponed is not canceled. It turned out to be 45 grams of quite firm, finely fragrant buds. Jacky is currently my daytime favorite. It gives a nice light, well-controllable high and doesn't leave you hanging. Usually, one balloon from Storz and Bickel's Volcano is enough for me, and I'm busy for hours. I prefer to vaporize Jacky at 165°C in 3°C increments up to 186°C, where I vaporize the lower temperatures multiple times to keep it smoother.
My conclusion: The Auto Jack from Paradise Seeds is absolutely recommendable. It tastes fruity, slightly hazy, a bit sweet. During the day, it doesn't fry your brain; it gives you time to carry out your projects. Even when vaporized in the evening, it helps me fall asleep well later and wake up refreshed. A blessing among all the heavy strains today.
Many thanks to Paradise Seeds, without whose support this grow wouldn't have taken place.

Day 114: This is my trichome separation machine. All the trim goes in there with a few stems. I chose a very fine mesh so that only the trichomes can pass through. It takes many hours, but the result is clean. I found the machine online. You can get the blueprint for a 3D printer or the pre-printed parts with the essential screws and metal parts, except for the motor with gearbox, the USB voltage regulator, and the threaded rods, which are available at any hardware store. Yes, and of course the mesh. Everyone can buy their preferred mesh size. The 3D parts cost around €80 about a year ago; if you need the address, please write that in the comments. I think the mesh was 150 mesh (?) for €10/m², the worm gear motor (without plastic parts!) with the USB voltage regulator cost around €45. The 2 threaded rods cost about €10. You can see the result after a few hours of sieving in the pictures.
Day 216: I forgot to take pictures of the jars, sorry. There were once 3 jars of 750ml each; you can see that I really enjoy it.
Glad you stopped by. I'm happy you were here 👋😎
