The Garden 2024-1 - Ethos and BBGS

00110001001001111O : Total days 9 First week of vege is going well. Extra plants are sprouted so that I can cull the weak ones before transplanting to final pots.

00110001001001111O : Total Days 13 Another week in the books. Plants are growing well enough. Any mutated or weak plant didn't survive the first pot-up. A couple decisions left before final pot-up.

00110001001001111O : Total days 21 Got a range of 16 days to 21 days in pictures. They are nearing their final pot-up. Spreading them out as they grow. Pretty simple stuff.

00110001001001111O : Total days 27 Potted up into the 5-gal pots and moved to the big tent for the final week or two of vege phase. No longer have the guards on the box fans, because that's just one more thing to clean, lol. Still using those shitty mini sprinkler emitters.

00110001001001111O : Total Days 34 Just reaching first scrog and start of horizontal training. Gone down to 10 plants from 12 from previous year, but still too much. I'll evenetually settle on 8. It balances well with a desire to have a long enough vege to take viable clones for potential breeding cycles. Upgraded the 2nd trellis from a cheap shitty trellis that potentially shed fibers as it aged. Making use of a rigid frame to keep trellises in position.

00110001001001111O : Total days 39 These will get a total of 42 vege days before flipping to flower. These were grown too large before flip, but that won't be apparent for a few weeks.

00110001001001111O : Total days 47 Total flower nights 5 Everything is growing well and filling out their area of responsibility. Nothing too exciting happening. Just training as they grow.

00110001001001111O : Total Days 54 Total flower nights 12 As with 2023-2, you can see that htese plants have already mostly filled in the canopy but still have ~2 more weeks of growth remaining. This results in an overcrowded canopy along with all the repercussions that come with it. Still turns out well, but just takes an iota of effort to avoid the problem. Still working kinks out of properly using a trellis. Something I should have used from the start of my growing experience, but obstinately avoided.

00110001001001111O : Total days 61 Total flower nights 19 Not as crowded as 2023-2, but still wasted some resources and time, nonetheless. Plants are healthy and that's 95% of what matters.

00110001001001111O : Total Days 68 Total flower nights 26 Vege growth is tapering off. Plants are healthy. Solid bud development for most of the plants. Everything is going well enough.

00110001001001111O : Total days 76 Total flower nights 34 More bud development seen. Plants are nice and healthy across the canopy. Continueing to train as necesary with the trellis. Some of these are fast-developing plants.

00110001001001111O : Total days 85 Total flower nights 43 These plants are in a rush. Nice fast development and good yields, nothing wrong with that. Healthy, forsty, and happy. Ethos strains are decent. Their "testers" are fucking garbage, lol.

00110001001001111O 10/10 because it's my cross, LOL. Always good smoke. Always frosty. Usually a good yielder. I use these as filler so I can cull the weak and know I'll have plenty of good options.

00110001001001111O Banana Hammock turned out well. Enjoyed smoking these buds. They yielded well and consistetnly. Decent amount of frost, too. Good structure and easy to train

00110001001001111O This was meh outcomes. The plants grew well and were easy to train, otherwise. Possibly due to inbreeding? The more i grow heavily inbred plants the less I want to grow them in the future. I was attracted to this strain for the advertised flavor and was disappointed. None of the ethos strains really came through based on adverstised flavor, for that matter. I bred this plant and have never bothered to even test the feminized seed that were produced. Not too motivated to do so, either. Had high hopes for grandpa's stash but was let down.
