White dots on a couple leaves? From what I read I’m thinking pests? Can’t see anything though. Feeding daily with half the recommended dose. Switched to 15 gl pot in coco. Topped and pruned. 7 hours direct sun and then mostly shade.

Looks like little burns to me. Could be from tap water or fertilizers? Not a big deal though. Outdoor plants are exposed to a lot so leaves get chewed up and damaged sometimes. I notice your leaves are getting a little yellow in between the veins. If you are not overwatering and your pH is good then this is a definitely sign of magnesium deficiency. A little Epsom salt or calmag would clear it up pretty quick. Good luck on the rest of your grow

I’m noticing the top leaves on branches are a lighter green than the rest. Is this something to be concerned of?

Nothing to worry about, which is a good thing. Your are growing outdoor and the change in weather condition can play with the color of your leave, i.e. temperature, day and night and the amount of direct sun exposure. Your plant looks just fine 👌

Any advice for growing with coco outdoors in the rain? Wet week ahead. I’m wondering if I should increase my feeding from once to twice a day to prevent the coco being flushed too much? Or if I should have a stronger nute mix when feeding in rain?

If you have a shelter which is open to the outdoor that's ideal when heavy rain is expected. That's one option to avoid overwatering and losing the nutritional values you gave your plant. Other option is to cover your pots with garbage bags or whatever you have on hands and you'll get little to no rain in your soil. You can collect the rain water in the meantime to give to your plants later on.

Having some nutrient issues. A few leaves are yellow with brown tips (first couple pics). I also had some nute burn a couple weeks ago after switching to GH so I lowered my feedings. Now I’m confused if it’s an excess or deficiency or something else? Any help much appreciated

Are you adjusting your ph? Looks like your ph may be out of range. You want to keep it close to 6 or the plant cant absorb any nutrients. And you should be feeding about 4 ml/ gallon if micro 1ml/gallon of grow and at least 4ml/ gallon of bloom at this stage. Mix your nutrients then adjust your ph and they should be much happier. I would also recommend feeding some calimagic especially in coco. Hope this gets you headed in the right direction.

Found six different spots of small bud rot on amnesia and removed it all. Should I start flushing now and chop in the next few days? Or push it longer. Expecting rain all week so might be time to give up. Also, how much longer should she have gone?

I'm not sure how bad your bud rot is, but those hairs are really white. Indicating it is still pretty early.

Thoughts on flushing before harvest? I’ve been reading conflicting views on whether it is necessary or even harmful. My leaves are already showing deficiencies which leads me to believe there’s not even an excess of nutrients to get rid of?

No u can actually just do a proper dry and cure to get pleasant smoke. Here’s what drying and curing cannabis will do for you… Dramatically improves taste of buds after harvest Gets rid of the unpleasant “fresh hay” or “cut grass” smell which is common on newly harvested buds Brings out the subtle flavors and unique smell of your cannabis strain Reduces “harshness” in buds; you’re less likely to start coughing or get a headache Buds that are dried/cured properly are less likely to cause anxiety, racing thoughts, or paranoia Increases storage time; you can store properly dried/cured buds for years and buds will retain a lot of their original potency Reduce the chance of mold growing on your buds Curing increases the perceived “potency” of your buds. Buds actually produce stronger effects

@CTCan,i tought about forcing flowering but you have to cover/unconver your plants every day, if they catch light out of the 12/12period they Will reveg, and i havent found a pratical way to do that
CTCan
CTCancommented6 years ago
@beadyeyes, ya I figured they’ll veg until August. Might try to force flower a couple weeks earlier
beadyeyes
beadyeyescommented6 years ago
@CTCan, they spend longer in vegetative, mine Will still vegetate for a couple of months, and they already at 10weeks, so i expect they get bigger, when compared to 9 weeks full cycle indoors

they look great, really nice structure. hopefully you find out soon what is giving them nutriënt burn. did you train your plants with methods like pinching/FIMing/topping or did you mostly use super cropping/mainlining?

CTCan
CTCancommented5 years ago
@the_curious_grower, ya I topped a few times and lst to spread the branches. Accidentally super-cropped the amnesia when tying down a branch but it worked out lol.

your Amnesia is definately in flower seen by the pictures. Some growers keep giving veg nutes in the first 2 weeks of bloom because then they have the stretch period, but it looks like she doesn't like it.
the_curious_grower
the_curious_growercommented5 years ago
yeah could be, Nice researching. curious to see how the adjustments Will turn out. they have Nice new growth so looks like it's going good.
CTCan
CTCancommented5 years ago
@the_curious_grower, ya I’m still feeding some nitrogen to Amnesia but being more cautious. I’ve seen other grows where Amnesia was sensitive to nutes as well so it might be a strain thing.

Alright dude we get a lot of little white moths , I spray twice weekly with a solution of crushed lavender flowers soaked overnight and allowed to cool . Then strained into a sprayer add a few drops of washing up liquid . Spray liberally top and underside of leaves . Doesn't kill but does deter them. Once seen check new growth the moths lay the eggs in these more so than older greener leaves.

@Welovephattrees420uk, thanks I appreciate the advice. Sounds like a good natural way, and might help with the smell at the same time lol ✌️😎

@MovingOn thanks for your response. I’d say I’ve removed about 5-10% of the bud. Not all was moldy, but close enough to effected areas that it had to go. I’m hoping I’ve removed it and have stopped the bleeding. Ill just keep a close eye from now on. I’ve also moved the plant under a large tree in my yard to cover from the rain a bit better.

You gonna force flowering in August? How are you going to keep them in flowering if they are outdoors? If they get light in the 12 hour dark period they will regress back to vegetative. Mine were planted in march i would have forced already but i learned about reveg. Outdoors is tricky to keep them in forced flowering
CTCan
CTCancommented5 years ago
@beadyeyes, my plan is to cover them with a large tarp (propped up by wood so it doesn’t touch the plants) at about 6pm every night and take it off once it’s dark out. I think I’ll only have to do it for a few weeks and by end of August /early Sept it should get dark early enough. I’m not 100% if this will work but I wanna give it a shot
