AnIndomitableFarmer This is the very first time I’ve kept a grow journal for my plants. Reading everyone’s journals here has been incredibly helpful and has motivated me to finally start my own.
FastBuds genetics are outstanding — there’s really nothing more to say. The plants are growing strong and healthy. The top performers so far are clearly Purple Lemonade Auto and Gorilla Punch Auto.
I won’t be adding any nutrients for at least the first two weeks. My current mix is 40% coco coir, 30% worm castings, 20% perlite, and 10% mineral rock — basically what’s readily available in my local area. It’s not easy to source the high-end premium substrates that many growers around here are using.

AnIndomitableFarmer This week, I started topping the Purple Lemonade Auto. Since it was growing the best, I chose it to top first. As you can see, the plant is developing really well.
In my area, we don’t have access to the high-quality nutrients that many of you use. So, I’m using common agricultural NPK fertilizers that can be found anywhere. I combine them with an organic root stimulator containing mycorrhizae. I also add a bit of secondary and micronutrients to ensure the plants always have a balanced diet.
Everything is based on my personal experience. To be honest, it’s quite simple — I don’t have much money to buy the best nutrients for these girls. :)

AnIndomitableFarmer Since last weekend, I’ve started LST on all my plants. Based on my own experience, I believe this was the best time to do it. My way of doing LST looks pretty funny, doesn’t it? It’s obviously easy to perform, but the downside is that watering becomes quite difficult :).
As I expected, the Purple Lemonade Auto and Gorilla Punch Auto have shown their first pistils. The plants are now entering the explosive growth phase! Most of them revealed their sex around day 23.
I really love how these plants respond to the care I give them. The two smallest ones are the LSD 25 Autos, and one of them has shown significant improvement. I still don’t know what the problem was, and I don’t have time to recover it anyway. That’s exactly why I chose to grow two plants of each strain — as insurance for situations like this. :)

AnIndomitableFarmer This is clearly what every grower looks forward to. The plants are exploding with growth, and I have to keep doing LST constantly to maintain an even canopy. It feels amazing to come home after a long day at work and see how these girls have developed, doesn’t it?
I’m waiting to check and remove a few plants that aren’t growing as well as I’d like. Since I didn’t try to figure out what I did wrong, this is definitely my own fault.
FastBuds has created some truly amazing genetics!
I forgot to update you about my lights. It’s an old Mars Hydro TS2000 without a dimmer. I have to adjust it using a screwdriver, and one of the two boards seems to be failing — it only reaches about 70% brightness while the other one is still fine. (This TS2000 model has two separate LED boards with two separate drivers.) :'(
But honestly, it doesn’t affect the quality of the light they provide. Mars Hydro is an excellent manufacturer in the grow light industry. I’ve known them since the time when grow lights on the market were mostly flooded with purple LEDs, haha.
For me, everything is just a challenge. Whether it’s temperature, humidity, or a light without a dimmer — none of it is a big problem. I’m happy dealing with my own little issues.
Stay tuned for next week! That’s all for this week’s journal.
And since this is my first time writing a grow journal, I forgot to label each strain clearly so that friends like you can follow each variety separately. Next week I’ll make sure to tag them properly for easier tracking.
Love ❤️

AnIndomitableFarmer The 6th week since germination has officially ended. These photos were taken on day 21 after the first white pistils (hairs) appeared.
Everything is progressing really well considering what I’m able to give these little girls. I’ve already culled all the weak plants and kept only the strongest, best-looking ones.
Purple Lemonade Auto is still the fastest-growing strain so far. Phenotype #1 hasn’t shown the purple colors like phenotype #2, but both are developing beautifully. The climate where I live doesn’t easily support purple pigmentation, but the good genetics are doing their job anyway.
Z Auto and Gorilla Punch Auto are showing the exact flower structure I love most — tall, stretched stems that keep the buds nicely spaced out instead of crowded together. Z Auto is already covered in a stunning layer of frosty trichomes.
My goal for this run, despite all the challenges, is to harvest at day 63 from seed (9 weeks total). Stay tuned and wish me luck!
The plants are currently being fed at 1400 ppm. I noticed some slight tip burn and a mild calcium/magnesium deficiency, so I raised the strength from 1000 ppm last week. The environment is far from ideal — daytime temperatures are extremely high and nighttime humidity sometimes climbs over 90 %. But I’m still aiming for that day-63 harvest. I know the conditions aren’t perfect, but I’m going to push it anyway.
Love you all. ❤️

AnIndomitableFarmer So fast! That means week 7 since germination is already over.
Z Auto is the star of this week! She’s growing super fast, with beautiful flower structure and tons of resin — she could be the first one ready for harvest.
Purple Lemonade Auto is developing really big buds and shows no sign of slowing down; the buds just keep getting larger.
Gorilla Punch Auto is still pushing strong growth too. Both Purple Lemonade Auto and Gorilla Punch haven’t even reached the middle of the flowering cycle yet.
Awesome! These strains are being handled extremely well, clearly showing great resilience and outstanding harvest potential.
Love all. ❤️🌱

AnIndomitableFarmer Week 8 has officially come to a close, ending right on April 20th. I decided to harvest my Purple Lemonade #1 a bit early just to celebrate! :)))))))))
Purple Lemonade #2, while not actually purple, is developing beautifully. It’s almost the size of a Coke can now. There are no signs of ripening yet, which makes sense given the 10–11 week estimated harvest time, but I know the wait will be well worth it.
Z Auto looks like it’ll be the earliest finisher. The buds are swelling up significantly, and the trichomes/pistils are looking gorgeous.
Gorilla Punch is the rising star of the week. It might just end up being the overall winner because the flower structure is stunning; the buds are clearly fattening up and are already covered in resin.
Reflections at Day 60
It feels amazing to have made it this far. I’m writing this on Day 60—in just three days, the whole tent hits the 9-week mark.
To be honest, this is already a huge success in my book. Growing in a tropical monsoon climate with no air conditioning and no dehumidifier, yet making it through Week 8 without any mold? That’s a massive win! :)))))))))
When you consider that daytime temperatures consistently soar above 35°C with humidity over 70%, it’s clearly a brutal environment for growth. But here I am, and the plants are too.
Thanks for following along! Love all.
@squalino, Thank you, bro! This is my first time keeping a grow journal. If you have time, please drop by often and give me your feedback. I’ve checked out your journal — it’s really beautiful. I still have a lot to learn from you and everyone here.
@Fast_Buds, Thank you so much for your kind and beautiful wishes. And thank you for all the hard work and dedication your team has put into creating such amazing strains. I absolutely love the Purple Lemonade Auto and Gorilla Punch Auto — they grow so easily even in the less-than-ideal conditions I have, which makes it very easy to understand why they’re so beloved. Love! ❤️
