EazyRider My Redball just finished in this plug, I soaked it and the water was around 3000ppm! All good. I have put the plug on the top of the stones not buried at all. There is not drainage holes in the plastic tub. Shouldn't need to do anything for a couple of weeks other than water. See how it handles a high nutrient laden plug.

EazyRider Compound V looking pretty standard for one week. The previous plug in a tub test was Instant Classik which you can see harvested today. Great bud small plant. However I think this test is a failure as no roots had entered the rocks, the plug was half buried and the nutes could contact the plug. This new test has the re-used plug sitting directly on the stones, so basically the same as I normally do, so it will be at least two weeks before roots appear at the bottom.
The plan is to top this one at the third node and remove node one. Should be able to do that before the two week update.

EazyRider This one is growing at a good pace in the tub with roots showing on all four sides. Topped at third node on d12 with first node removed. Pretty good growth after topping.

EazyRider This is growing very well in the old plug with heavy bloom nutes! Good stretching means I have not had to remove any inward facing leaves yet. Virtually the perfect structure at this moment. I thought Compound V looked like a good candidate for a 3 node topping and it's looking good so far.

EazyRider This is an interesting development, I was hoping to get the roots all the way through the stone and down to the bottom before I began filling from the bottom via the filling tube. By week three I was thinking this idea isn't the way to go, the plant wasn't drinking much, but it does looks like that are drinking from the bottom now, and the plant has also more than doubled. I'm don't have time to futz around with this plant so after the early topping I have not done anything at all. Not a lot of leaves and nice node spacing so I will continue to do nothing, Next week will be very interesting.

EazyRider The plug has dried out and she is now being bottom fed via the tube. This is still an experiment that is now closer to an autopot there is no drain.

EazyRider She has bulked up a lot this week. The plug has been completely dry for a couple of weeks now and she seems to be coping well without drainage. Apart from topping I have done nothing at all with this plant.

EazyRider Chunking up nicely. I am filling the tub from the bottom to about 3 inches and that lasts 3 days. Plug itself is still bone dry. Flowers are looking very frosty. Has kind of worked in that I can leave these for three days in the summer, so more experimentation needed.

EazyRider looking pretty good, plug is bone dry and I have been filling the tub every three days. Chunking up well with lots of frosty goodness.
EazyRider Went the whole 10wks took her down today, all the leaves have gone dark plum so she look pretty good, nice and chunky, tighter buds than my last compound V. Next tub grow will be a Mulberry F3 with six branches. Not as much roots as I thought, but it didn't seem to matter even with the pyramid left to dry out.
There's really no telling what is going to happen with autos, every mango isle I've grown looks like a different strain! But this one in the tub, or more accurately on the tub because it is not buried like the others, does look to be stretching well
Have you grown this one yet? I have! Great strain. She can produce some massive colas. I grew a pair of them two springs ago and they were stout little bushes. Check out my old diary on this one. Good luck 👍
@sanibelisl, Yeah I grew her with Instant classik, they are very similar vanilla citrus. While compound was big and strong I preferred IK. It's why I chose her for this new test. I'm going to top this one at the 3rd node and remove the first node, so I'll be going with four branches. The difference here is that the plug is sitting at the top of the stones.
