Borberad Kannabia Candy Cream Go Fast
In this grow diary, we meticulously document the life cycle of the Candy Cream Go Fast from Kannabia Seeds. The goal is to reproduce the promised acceleration of the flowering phase while maximizing the terpene profile using our proven 6-Shooter method. We ignore the obligatory warning on the packaging ("Not intended for cultivation!") with our usual scientific ignorance – after all, someone has to justify the VIP status! 😂🌱
Our approach is characterized by precision and scientific observation. This grow diary serves as a chronicle that connects theoretical planning (UIS-controlled climate management) with practical implementation and allows for adjustments based on the dynamic conditions of the grow.
Strain Description: Candy Cream Go Fast
The Candy Cream Go Fast is a high-performing, indica-dominant hybrid strain known for its incredible speed and sweet, creamy aromas. It has been specifically developed to massively shorten the flowering time without sacrificing the potency of the classic genetics.
Genetics: A complex alliance of Afghan, South Indian, and Skunk, modified for an accelerated photoperiodic cycle.
Effect: Reportedly provides profound physical relaxation, ideal for evening use – a true "Heavy Hitter."
Terpene Profile: A sweet, almost confectionery aroma, dominated by caramel notes and earthy undertones.
Flowering Time: Record-breaking 45–50 days after switching to 12/12.
Week 0: The Germination Phase
Germination of the VIP seed has begun in the Mars Hydro propagation tent.
Day 0.1: After a 12-hour rehydration in a 1% H2O2 solution, the seed was placed in an Eazy Plug.
Day 0.2: The first patience phase. The temperature in the propagation area is kept stable at 23°C.
Day 0.3/0.4: The germination root has gripped the plug. The first bulge of the surface is visible. We have adjusted the DLI of the Mars Hydro LED to about 12.
Day 0.5: The seedling pair breaks through. The light intensity has been increased to 16 DLI.
Day 0.6: The seedling dome is gradually opened to acclimate the plant to the target humidity of about 70% rHF.
Day 0.7: Everything under control. The Candy Cream is stable and shows the first signs of the first true leaf pair.
Fertilization & Measurements: Easy Plug, no additional fertilizer needed. Focus on stable VPD of 0.8 kPa.

The pot area is mostly filled.
It's being rearranged, not just the timing but also physically. The little flower is moving from the seed tent, which was also the veg tent this time, to her bloom tent. Since both tents are running at different times, the first night will be extended to about 21 hours by parking her in an unlit tent in between. Afterwards, it will be illuminated in the usual 12-hour rhythm.

She's slowly but clearly switching to bloom mode. LST is now being reduced, and the good one can grow taller. Currently, we have half an hour of sunrise and sunset each, with a peak of 860 ppfd, so we're getting 35.6 DLI on the roof of the little one.

Considering that she switched late, she's already quite far along in flowering and lives up to her name addition. Even though she was put on the 12h schedule 10 days later than her roommate, she visually seems to be further along. The leaves are slowly changing to autumn colors, and the buds also seem to be getting a blue-violet shimmer. The coming days will surely bring a nice color change.

Day 85
The plant is doing well and looks magnificent. However, this one bud has been noticeably different for a few days now. It seems to be ahead of the others. Since deviations in growth or color within a plant are usually not a good sign, we decided to take a closer look at this friend.
Unfortunately, the experience has been confirmed here as well. Due to mold in the bud, likely caused by contamination (a dead fungus gnat or something similar), no nutrients could reach it anymore, resulting in earlier autumnal discoloration.
Day 88
The entire plant has switched to autumn mode and is shining in various tones. Now it’s just a matter of a few days before it’s time to harvest. Feeding will now be set to zero. Noteworthy are the really mega thick trichome heads of the two ladies in the tent.

A plant that is fun and nice to look at. Due to the rather summery temperatures this year, the lady in the tent was a bit warm, which showed through slight foxtailing of the buds. Overall, she handled the high temperatures very well. No signs of hermaphroditism and otherwise a very resilient little flower. The scent during the last weeks of flowering was sweet and pronounced.

Borberad The last week went smoothly, the THC peak should be reached, and the little light has beautifully changed colors to a small violet. The last few weeks have definitely been worth it. However, the topic of going fast at 74 days to 12 hours of night is somewhat limiting. Even if we subtract the 10 days it took for the little flower to switch, there are still 63 days of flowering, which is a bit long for an auto variety. We can't judge whether it was due to the high temperatures or the strain we ended up with. Nevertheless, the entire grow was a pleasure, and the little flower was consistently nice to look at.
