Hey there MeltedAcorn, i've asked myself that very same question many times before ! Took me a year but i've figured it out : you want to add P/K when the buds are at least the size of your thumb, so you're actually more than ready. What i can say from P/K Canna , its slightly less strong than others but it's still really strong and can easily burn your plants, so be reasonable when you use it ! I dont really know where you got the 1 week before flush , what i know is that P/K will increase the plant chemicals to the point where most folks (including me!!) say that you should stop using it AT LEAST 2 weeks before the chop, so stop using it before your flush. Flavor enhancers i'm not a big fan of, things like bud candy make everything taste the same "bud candy taste" and as far as i'm concerned that means the bud's essence is ruined. I used molasses (which is basically identical to bud candy but costs like 2 dollars a gallon lol) and i had a similar experience to the bud candy thing... let the plant express itself through it's unique terpene profile by managing the terpenes : 24hrs dark period before the chop, less intense lighting schedules towards the chop, cure in the dark, that sort of thing. This works and you get the "true taste" of your genetics. Hope this helps ! 🚀
