HandsomeTerpz Mexican Sativa had a pretty funny start. The seedling showed up days after my first shoot I honestly wasn’t expecting her to come up anymore. Now that she’s here, she’s developing nicely with a healthy structure and steady growth. Conditions are stable, and she seems to be settling in well. Sometimes they just take their time but this one made a late and solid entrance. 😄🌿

HandsomeTerpz This week everything is moving in the right direction. Yesterday I transplanted all plants into their final pots. After transplanting, I watered them with Bio Tabs Orgatrex and Bactrex to give the roots the best possible start in their new environment. Since the roots are still quite short, I’m currently watering by hand to stay in full control of moisture levels. In about 1–2 weeks, I plan to switch to a drip irrigation system from Vivosun once the root system is more established. You might notice a white layer covering the soil surface that’s white clover. I decided to try this approach because plain soil visually felt a bit dull to me. The clover not only improves the look but also creates a more natural and living soil surface, which I really like. Overall, the plants are stable and adapting well after transplant. Now it’s all about letting them settle in and build strong roots. 🚀🌿

HandsomeTerpz Vegetation Week 3 🌱🇲🇽 The Mexican Sativa from Kannabia is also developing beautifully She is growing extremely fast vertically while simultaneously producing a lot of leaf mass. You can already clearly notice the strong sativa influence The plant looks very healthy, vigorous, and has shown stable growth from the beginning. What will probably become especially exciting later on is the stretch phase, considering how aggressively she is already growing during vegetation This week the plant only received water as well Thanks to BioTabs, everything she currently needs already seems to be present inside the soil. That simple style of growing becomes incredibly satisfying when you see how strongly the plants respond purely through an active living soil ecosystem So far the Mexican Sativa is doing absolutely great and I’m really excited to see how she develops over the next few weeks

HandsomeTerpz Week 4 of vegetation for the Mexican Sativa and these girls absolutely exploded in growth Today was training day though all plants got topped, defoliated and every branch was carefully bent into shape with LST training. Right after this process they always look a bit rough and “damaged”, but that’s completely normal 😅 The goal is a flat, even canopy with better light penetration and stronger side branching for later flower development. From experience, within a few days they bounce back aggressively and by next week you’ll barely even notice the stress anymore This Mexican Sativa is showing incredible vigor so far and reacts extremely well to training. Really excited to see how she develops over the next weeks 🌿

HandsomeTerpz The Mexican Sativa is currently struggling a little compared to the other plants in the tent. She is still growing and developing, and the fan leaves actually became pretty large and healthy looking, but overall the plant still seems to lack some real power and vigor right now. The side branches are relatively thin and weak, which makes the structure feel less stable than expected at this stage. Growth is happening, just not with the same energy and explosiveness as the others. Sometimes certain genetics simply take a bit longer to settle in and find their rhythm, especially with sativa-dominant plants. I’m hoping she will gain more strength over the next weeks and start building a stronger structure once she fully adapts. For now we stay patient and keep supporting her the best possible way. 🌱✨

HandsomeTerpz The Mexican Sativa is having a rather mixed run so far. While she remains healthy overall, her development has been a bit slower compared to the other plants in the tent. Interestingly, she has already started transitioning heavily into the flowering phase and is currently the most advanced plant of the entire grow. This run is also part of an experiment. Instead of growing in an AutoPot, she is being cultivated in a fabric pot to see whether a slightly restricted root zone and different watering dynamics can influence stretch and overall plant structure. My current theory is that AutoPots can sometimes provide such a constant water supply that certain varieties don't stretch as much as expected. The fabric pot should create a different balance and give some insight into how the plant responds. That being said, I have to admit that I would have liked to see a little more vegetative growth before she fully committed to flowering. Still

HandsomeTerpz The Mexican Sativa is really starting to take off now and is producing flowers at an impressive rate. Every day brings more pistils, more bud sites, and more signs that she's fully committed to flowering. 🌱✨ For this grow, I decided to try something a little different during the stretch phase. Instead of pushing growth with plenty of water, I slightly reduced irrigation. The result was a much more controlled stretch, with significantly shorter internodal spacing than I would normally expect from a sativa-dominant plant. 💧📏 The advantage of this approach is that the bud sites are stacked much closer together, which could lead to larger and more continuous colas later in flower. Of course, we'll have to wait and see how it develops, but so far the results are very promising. 🚀 I'm really excited to see how this classic Mexican genetics performs over the coming weeks! 🌿🔥

HandsomeTerpz The Mexican Sativa is developing exactly the way I had hoped. By slightly reducing the water supply during the stretch phase and growing her in fabric pots, she remained relatively compact compared to what many people would expect from a Sativa-leaning cultivar. The reduced stretch resulted in tighter internodal spacing, which makes the developing flowers appear much denser and more substantial. Right now, she's really starting to accelerate and is putting a lot of energy into flower production. In fact, she is showing one of the strongest bulking phases of all the plants in this grow. The terpene profile is another standout feature. The aroma filling the air around this plant is incredibly pleasant, rich, and intense, becoming more noticeable with each passing day. Everything is moving in the right direction, and the combination of structure, flower development, and scent is making this cultivar a real joy to watch. I'm especially looking forward to seeing how the buds develop over the next two weeks as flowering progresses. If she continues at this pace, she could become one of the highlights of the entire grow.

HandsomeTerpz The Mexican Sativa has entered a serious bulking phase and is putting on weight fast. Over the past week, the buds have noticeably increased in size, and the plant is showing exactly the kind of flower development I was hoping for. The aroma is becoming stronger every day and is now spreading throughout the house. It's a wonderful combination of that classic sativa character and the excitement that comes with seeing a plant really hit its stride in late flower. Large buds are forming across the plant, and she seems determined to keep stacking mass. Despite the challenging environmental conditions, she continues to perform exceptionally well and is currently one of the standout plants in the garden. At this stage, the main goal is simply to maintain stable conditions and keep her healthy through the final weeks. If everything continues as it is now, she should reward me with some impressive flowers by harvest time. Fingers crossed she keeps this momentum all the way to the finish line. The potential is definitely there.

HandsomeTerpz The Mexican Sativa is performing exceptionally well in Flower Week 10. 🌿🔥 The colas are getting bigger every week, and she’s right in the middle of the bulking phase. She’s producing long, dense flowers and looks healthy, vigorous, and full of life. What I really like is her strong structure and the abundance of fresh white pistils, showing she’s still actively building flowers. The buds continue to gain size, and I’m hoping she’ll pack on even more weight over the coming weeks. So far, she’s definitely one of the standout plants in this run. 💚💪
