š¤: It is recommended to store seeds in the refrigerator. The Blueberry Auto seed has been in the refrigerator for almost a year now; let's see if it germinates. Blueberry Auto #1 developed its taproot after 36 hours.
Since coco coir is frequently recommended, I spontaneously bought a block of 5 weeks pre-fertilized coco coir at the hardware store and mixed it 50/50 with my reused peat soil. This should further improve aeration. A significant calcium/magnesium imbalance is often described. I'm trying to counteract this with 100ml of dolomite lime; the coco coir also already contains magnesium.

š¤: The plant shows no signs of deficiency or over-fertilization, so some NPK fertilizer was added in week 2. It can already be observed that the substrate with the added coco coir absorbs water much better. I will give her as much water as possible.

š¤: The clawing leaves indicate a nitrogen excess, while the brown spots on the foliage and yellowing point to a Cal/Mag deficiency. So far, only a few leaves are affected.
Since the substrate already contains 100 ml of dolomite limeāand as I do not wish to purchase a separate Cal/Mag supplementāI will water the plant once with 3 liters of pH-adjusted water (set to pH 6). This aims to reduce the nitrogen intake while relatively increasing the calcium intake provided by the tap water.
The slightly acidic water should also help release more calcium and magnesium from the dolomite lime.
CaMg(CO3)2 + 4 H+ - Ca2+ + Mg2+ + 2 H2O + 2 CO2
Furthermore, as the plant is already at the onset of the flowering stageāand should ideally be focusing its energy on bud developmentāI will remove the large lower leaves to prevent them from growing further and consuming calcium and magnesium that is needed for the flowers' development.
Afterward, I will continue feeding with the same NPK fertilizer dosage. I hope this mild intervention will be sufficient to correct the issue.

š±: Typical signs of a magnesium deficiency, leaves turning yellow-green overall
š§: 4l day 39
š”: Dli 45 mol/m²/day
š¤: Unfortunately, the measures taken did not yield the desired results; the Cal/Mag issue has progressed further, and one can clearly observe the development of the typical signs of a magnesium deficiency. Additionally, all the leaves have turned yellower. Consequently, I performed some calculations and determined that the Cal/Mag ratio in my tap water is unsuitable for the onset of the flowering stageāspecifically, there is too much calcium. Therefore, it proved counterproductive to flush the plant and continue with a low fertilizer dosage in an attempt to avoid over-fertilization. The fertilizer I usedāwith an NPK profile of 7-3-5 + 1 MgOāwould have actually supplied the plant with magnesium. All things considered, I probably should have applied a higher dose of fertilizer soonerāeven if it meant risking slight over-fertilizationāespecially given that the leaves were turning yellow across the board, suggesting that the flushing and subsequent low fertilizer intake had actually triggered a general nutrient deficiency. Therefore, starting next week, I will resume a standard fertilizer regimen.

š¤: The plant has stabilized using the standard fertilization schedule and is developing its flowers beautifully. Its sister plant was also rather yellowish-green at first; it is possible that the strain generally requires a lot of nutrients.
Some supercropping and defoliation were necessary because the branches were growing quite close together. This allows the lower flowers to get more light and air, which promotes their development and helps prevent mold.
