MicroHidroGrow Day 10. Today is day 10 of the second week, but only for one of the plants. Over the last week, I added 3 more cuttings of the same strain that just rooted. That's why I'm going to wait about 10 days from today to switch to flowering. I'm not going to let the plants get too big because I'm in a hurry, since I already have a cutting of another strain growing for the next batch and space is limited. The good part is that when the roots of the cuttings take hold well, the growth is very accelerated. Now I'm going to keep a closer eye on them. For now, I'm going to leave them with feeding hybrids since my grow is finished. If they're doing well, I'll keep it that way. If not, I'm going to have to go buy some.

MicroHidroGrow Day 27 today I finish giving them growth. In the end, only 3 reached a considerable size. There will be 2 Batekus and 1 Polaris left. Tomorrow I'm going to switch them to flowering because I'm in a hurry due to lack of stock. I couldn't take photos of the 3rd week, but I'll be following the flowering regularly. I'm going to apply different techniques on each plant. One has apical cutting, and the other two are HST.

MicroHidroGrow The first week of flowering is over. The biggest plant is expanding a lot. Which is good, since one of the cuttings was small, and the big one is taking its place. I kept the same solution as the previous week to test a theory. I've read that there are growers who maintain growth watering during the first week of flower indoors, so the plant can better take advantage of the vegetative development of that week. Now that the second week of flower is starting, I plan to start adding bud blood powder. For now, the setup seems appropriate for the number of plants and the growth I gave them. The model would be to manage plants the size of the two that didn’t get too big. That means 2 weeks once the cutting has rooted through the entire substrate. That's why I'm going to modify my cloner to be able to do growth for 2 weeks right there. This way, I can go directly to flowering in the module above. I also took the opportunity to increase the light intensity by 50% from what it was. During the week, we'll see the evolution, and I'm sure I'll ramp up the light to 100%.

MicroHidroGrow It's the second week of flowering and the plants have really stretched out. The space is well covered. I've been cutting some lower shoots and the plants reacted very well. Given the height space I see available, I can give the next batch more growth time. Anyway, I'm already planning a slightly bigger indoor setup with some more details. The humidity at night gets really high, so I'm going to have to add some way to extract air during the nights.

MicroHidroGrow The plants look good although the constant drop in pH is noticeable on some leaves. I added an air extractor that works like a charm, since humidity was reaching 94% at night. The pH has been dropping a lot, but I already found out it's due to the use of trichoderma, which, having been stored for a long time, made the solution very acidic. By next week, I'm going to stop using them and stick only with the efficient microorganisms, and in smaller quantities. In the meantime, I'm raising it with baking soda since I couldn't get potassium hydroxide. I'm also running short on the reservoir, which has lasted me 6 days these past two weeks. I'm going to see if I can find a container whose dimensions allow me to put 12 liters without taking up more space. I hope to resolve these issues soon.

MicroHidroGrow Wrapping up the 4th week and now I'm going to switch to Overdrive. I hope this resolves the pH issues I've been having. While some leaves are pretty marked up, I hope the yellowing stops progressing now. The flowers look good and the small leaves haven't been affected so far. Anyway, I’ll keep monitoring the pH daily. I did a flush before adding this solution and also flooded the main pipe, but everything came out pretty clean. Now I'm entering the last 2 or 3 weeks, so this is the part where I can't afford to mess up anymore.

MicroHidroGrow Finishing the 5th week. The plants are fattening up quite a bit. The difference in size between the buds of Polaris and those of Bateku is noticeable. I was able to solve the pH problem. But not the reservoir issue, so I'm adding 4 extra liters of solution every 2 or 3 days. I'm about to enter the last 2 or 3 weeks, and I'm going to try a 13-hour photoperiod for the last 2. Today I'm going to get the cuttings for the next batch.

MicroHidroGrow I'm in the final stages now. Just 2 more weeks and the harvest is coming. I've already started rooting the cuttings for the next batch. The plants are doing really well. The Polaris has significantly bulked up more than the bateku. But either way, both are doing great. I ran out of overdrive, so I added 1.3ml/L. I already bought some and it's arriving tomorrow, so I'll boost the solution then, since the plants are drinking a lot of water. I didn't do any leaf trimming in this grow, which is something I usually do. The roots have been a problem this week, as they're creeping through the drain pipe and are close to reaching the reservoir. That's a design issue that I'll figure out how to solve. But it's a minor problem. I'll probably start working on a new design soon, but no rush. For now, I'm keeping an eye on the parameters, but I have everything pretty much under control.

MicroHidroGrow We're getting to the end. The weight of the buds caused one of the plants to lean over. This week I'm going to start with the cut. There's a good amount and nice buds. The pH kept dropping a lot, which might be due to dead roots inside the pipe, which is common in this type of system. Still, the plants are doing very well, and it looks like there will be a very good yield. I'm not going to do a flush, since several scientific articles show that there's no positive modification from doing it. In fact, in hydroponics, the lack of nutrients for 3 days starts to negatively affect the terpene profile and the plant mass. I've already looked for places in the house where I have optimal conditions for drying, so I hope to achieve a long and slow drying process, around 2 weeks.

Happy Harvest Day!

A very interesting strain. The buds are a good size and uniform. While the lower buds are smaller, they are all quite chunky. The amounts it produced in branches and flowers have amazed me. It adapts very well to trimming. Once they have dried, I will add my thoughts on the flavor and potency. But in terms of production, I recommend doing a test.

MicroHidroGrow It was an interesting cycle. I knew it was a small space, but I needed to put this idea together with a bit more tidiness. I'm going to have to set up a bigger one, but in the meantime, the results from this indoor grow have surprised me. The strains helped a lot too. Both were very productive, especially the Polaris. I had already cut off the big branch that was invading the Polaris from the big plant. That's why it looks smaller in the end. I already have the Canpat One rooting, but they're not ready yet. I hope to start the next project soon. Finally, the dry weight was 190 grams. Which is very strange, given that there are only 3 plants. I dried them in 15 days. It doesn't seem like the buds retained that much moisture. But I'll see during the curing process. It seems excessive considering the space. The jars in the photo have 10g each and that doesn't count what I've been smoking and the big branch I cut and removed earlier.

Happy harvest! 😍 I did a genetic cross project and named it OG Cream. I'd be happy if you check it out. 👽🙏🔥 I'm currently testing the new cross, and I'm really excited to see how it turns out!
