Irrai This grow diary documents my cultivation of Purple People Eater Auto (DNA Genetics) in collaboration with Momentum, acting as my CO2 coach. Momentum provided guidance on planning and executing CO2 enrichment tailored to this indica-dominant autoflower, helping set target CO2 levels, and design a safe, logged dosing schedule.👍👌💪 The goal: maximize vigor and yield across this run while preserving the strain’s sweet, citrusy, fruity profile. 🙌 This diary records setup decisions, CO2 parameters, daily observations, environmental data, and lessons learned—dedicated to Momentum for the expert advice that made this run possible.🙏 All four seeds sprouted, but in one seedling the cotyledons fell off right away and only a sad stump remained. R.I.P. 👼 Purple People Eater Auto — Datasheet Brand: DNA Genetics Flower type: Autoflowering Category: Feminized Genetics: Indica-dominant Parents: Sweet & Sour Purple x OG Kush Auto Flowering time: 8–9 weeks THC: 22% CBD: 3% CBD:THC: 1 : 7.3 Suitable for: Indoor, Outdoor, Greenhouse Outdoor yield: Up to 550 g/plant Indoor yield: Up to 500 g/m² Flavor / Aroma: Sweet, citrusy, fruity, berry, pineapple Indoor height: Medium Outdoor height: Medium

Irrai I moistened the light mix with warm water — about 5–6 liters per 25 liters of soil — and firmly filled the 11L pots, letting them temper for a few days beforehand. Meanwhile I tested and fine‑tuned the CO2 system. 🌡️💧? So far nothing unusual has happened — no stretching or other issues — we wait in eager anticipation. 🤞🌱✨

Irrai They're thriving and are handling the topping well; unfortunately I slipped a bit on one and it has a small imbalance, but hopefully that will even out soon. 🌿🤞 Otherwise I'm not sure whether it's the general environment or the CO₂ — there's more activity in the tent than with the two small ones right next to it. 🌬️🌡️❓

Irrai I'm a bit behind on week 3 — I was out of action for a short time and still need a little more time; week 4 will follow at the end of this week 😋. All good so far — no notable incidents ✅. After stressful periods I water additionally with Alg‑A‑Mic in low doses 💦; so far no negative effects observed 🙂. My faux pas with the guillotine was shrugged off well by the little fighter 🤕, and after a bit of fixing he’ll soon be back as balanced as possible .

Irrai I'm curious to see how she'll develop soon. 🌱 A lot happened from week 3 to 4 — overall everything's going well except for a few small mistakes on my part. 🤦‍♂️ Except for PPE 2-4, where I don't know why one stem stopped growing, so I adjusted the training a bit. 🔧 Slowly it's also getting a little fertilizer boost for later, and the lamp output is being gradually increased. 💪

Irrai Everything’s running smoothly here — the second PPE is stretching a bit more than the others, so I’m currently trying to keep it in check. 🌿✂️ I’ve paused the CO₂ tests for now because with low ventilation and at 1,200 ppm the bottle emptied almost instantly — so it’ll most likely be a case of CO₂ running out during the flowering phase. 💨⚗️

Irrai The PPE 2 put on a nice stretch and is leading the cycle in the tent — she’s developed beautifully and turned out quite elegant. 😍 Once the others catch up a bit she’ll get full feed and CO₂ again. I’m considering routing the exhaust into the room and limiting fresh intake, then using a dehumidifier to counter any spike in relative humidity if needed. I’ll also watch and, if useful, adjust my watering routine accordingly.

Irrai PPE’s still powering ahead — strong development all around, so I’m confident it’ll turn out fine. 🌱💪 Since I’m topping heights now, I’m hopeful for a chill session. 🧘‍♂️ I messed with the CO2 and tweaked the setup, but rising heat and RH forced me to cut the run after about 8 hours. 🌡️💨 Once humidity drops I’ll do another tuned test run and try to get a longer, stable interval. 🤞🔧 Should be interesting — either it pays off or the setup proves unsuitable, but either way I’ll know soon. 👀✨

Irrai Everything’s running smoothly — no problems. They’re getting plenty to eat and regular downtime so the roots can breathe. With the PPE 3 I removed a few leaves again and gently bent some stems outward to improve light distribution there, too. Because of the new addition, I’m only doing the essentials in the tent for now. 🌿🌞🌬️✂️?🔆

Irrai Currently back to experimenting with CO₂ enrichment and wrestling with the humidity levels, but overall things are much improved across almost every parameter — progress! 🌿✨ I’m optimistic I can get the system dialed in and use it effectively. I also gave the plants a little extra LST to open the canopy so the developing buds get more light — they’re responding nicely. 💪? I reorganized the tent layout too; if the weather forecast holds, the Stixx will be free soon and I’ll start some bottom-side stimulation to encourage stronger growth. 🌱 Quick notes: CO₂: experimenting with controlled enrichment — monitoring closely. RH: still fluctuating; aiming for stable mid-range humidity. Training: light LST to improve light penetration. Feeling positive — steady tweaks, steady gains. 🌱🌞

Irrai They’re responding nicely to the CO₂ and seem mostly unfazed by the 75–80% RH — it was a real fiddly job 😅 — but after I removed the four little plants destined for the second batch of outdoor queens from the room where the tent sits, I was able to drop RH by another 4% and temperature by 2.5°C 🌬️. I’ll be traveling for the next few days, so I’m curious to see how they hold up while I’m away . During the trichome check everything has still been clear so far, even on the super-stretched PPE 🍃🔬.

Irrai The first one is stalling a bit right now, but the other two are doing great. 🌱💪 For now it’s mostly feeding and quick checks—nothing too dramatic—so I’m in pure “observe and wait” mode. 👀📋 I’m thinking we’re looking at about 1.5 to 2.5 weeks left… except Purple People Eater 3. 😌🍇 That one will probably take a bit longer, because it has full-on main character energy—and apparently it’s allergic to rushing. 😄 So yeah: quiet days, small care routines, and a lot of staring like I can will time to move faster. ✨🔬

Irrai We’re getting close to the finish line now—both ladies are still being fed. The first lady has already been moved out. These days she’s hanging upside down, and she’ll be cleaned up soon—then packed away to cure. 🌱📦 Next week, I’m pretty sure we’ll start slowly relocating them out of the tent so they can properly enjoy their full 3 days of dark rest. 🕳️

Irrai Now it’s back to a full-on end spurt. 🔥 One is still inside the tent, but the first PPE is already hanging upside down—ready to start paying off in fat, dense development. 🌸 The second one is chilling next to the tent, and she’s noticeably chunkier right now. 🍀 Next up: keep an eye on how they both progress day by day—because once they start stacking for real, the difference in “thickness” usually turns into real, visible bud weight.

Hey, you've been using BioBizz for a while now. Do you add nutrients every time you water? My Medical Mass needs a lot of nitrogen, but I just don't want to overload her every time.

@Irrai, RIP Heath Ledger, my goodness… he was such a genius as an actor. Unfortunately, another early loss like River Phoenix. Really sad, man. Damn hard drugs and all… anyway, back to the topic ^^ That sounds solid, and you can really see the results. I mean, your monster plants from the last grows speak for themselves. I'm still not sure if I'm going to go with BioBizz for the next run or maybe BioTabs, for example. If I do go with BioBizz, I'll definitely take some cues from you regarding the amount and all. Thanks anyway for your response, and have a good time!

@Kushycat, well, I always comfort myself with the numerous audio plays that his German voice shines in 🙌😎. Otherwise, if I remember how, I'll send you the raw Excel file since it has more or less everything about the last grow, maybe that will help you.

GreenHobbit commented3mo ago
@Kushycat my best friend also works with Biobizz. He gives half of the manufacturer's recommendation with each watering. Personally, I think that stuff stinks too much. That's why I used the Hesi range for a long time until I switched to greenhousefeeding.
