leithsffs I started them in a 1% hydrogen peroxide solution in a cup for 12 hours. Then, moved that to a paper towel for another 12 and found they had opened with 2mm of root showing. That's when I moved them to solo cups in the tent with a heat mat to break the chill because it's not very warm yet. After 4 days of growth i took the lids off to let them breathe. This picture is of them at 6 days.... the nutrients are what I will be using as I have already prepped the pots for transplant.

leithsffs The roots were already at the edges of the pot. And, the leaves were over the sides of the 1 gallon pot they were in. So, transplanting day it was. The ladies are growing pretty quick. They grew almost 2 inches in width from yesterday to today. And, a little in height, too.

leithsffs They've been in the greenhouse all week enjoying nature instead of being all cooped up in the tent. I'm pretty sure they like it better. And, one less tent to keep going for the time being! For nutrients, they getting a little bit of calmag thrown into each watering. Just a little bit, though.

leithsffs They were topped the day after posting last week. Clones were taken, including apical, to see how small clones do in my basic setup. I'm hoping the apical clones work out. Their heights are 12 and 11 inches this week. Which I think is a pretty good bounce back from some hard HST for being so young. Nothing but a little CalMag earlier this week in their water.

leithsffs Nothing special happening this week. Only some weak calmag mix to the water for nutrient uptake.

leithsffs Introducing the clones this week. Two of them are apical. One if them is doing better than the other. The other three are experiments to see how small of a clone I can root out. The tiny 1.5 inch didn't survive. The others took about 10 days without rooting hormones added. Transplanting the clones, only the tall one got transplant shock. The others pulled through overnight at 45°f just fine The big girls are growing faster than I thought they would. So they received a top dressing today to help with badly needed nutrients. And, i cleaned up the bottoms just a little bit. They'll be in the tent and flipped about midweek when I get the bases I ordered.

leithsffs I decided to take top and bottom clones today. Sorry, I didn't take a picture before I did. They're going to have to wait for the tent because i have the clones in there for the following week while the mothers are healing. Then, I have to decide what to do. I have enough to keep me busy in the trim stage. So, I hope to keep these girls delayed a little bit.
