Germination
1mo ago
chrizhype One of two each germinated. Storage wasn't ideal so I'm not mad. It was just dark room temp storage, over one year old. The seeds were leftovers, so. Im happy.

chrizhype The topping on the permanent marker photo seems to have worked well. All plants need some pushing of leaves, so the new branches can get some sunlight. I can now tell a faint smell, specially the baby boom on the right. Also I have a fly-infestation (Trauermücken). So I got some Pool Filtersand and will dry out the soil more. Worst case i'll try using the bottom feeding method for the first time to not have the top go wet and mix fine sand with soil. Flies got significantly less oger the past few days.

chrizhype The Permanent Marker topped Photo Plant is now sitting in the middle and is receiving some LST. The other two are also receiving minor training and im continuously taking out larger leaves to produce less shadow. The filter sand isnt doing it, the flies are probably fine with the little drain holes at the bottom of the pots, so I ordered nematodes to deal with it biologically. We'll see. Im also prepping the greenhouse to move plants there soon. More problems will await there, as its not snailproof. Bought some gear for that and have to unpack all the little helpers once shipment arrives.
