ThatsmyGrow πŸͺ Gorilla Cookies Auto – Pheno Hunt (6 Phenotypes) Hey growmies πŸ‘‹ this time I’m doing something a bit different: I’m starting a pheno hunt with 6x Gorilla Cookies Auto, and I’ll be documenting each plant in a separate diary to properly compare the differences. 🎯 Goal of this run: Identify different phenotypes Compare growth, structure, and flowering traits Select the β€œbest” pheno based on my criteria What I’ll be tracking: Growth structure (compact vs. stretchy) Internodal spacing Leaf structure & color Flower development & bud structure Resin production ❄️ (Later) smell & effects πŸ“Š Setup (same for all 6): Same medium Same nutrients Same environment β†’ so any differences should come down to genetics πŸ“Έ I’ll post regular updates with photos and try to keep everything as comparable as possible. πŸ’¬ Your input is welcome: If you notice differences or already have a favorite, drop a comment! Let’s see which pheno performs the best πŸ‘€πŸ”₯

ThatsmyGrow 🌱 Week 1 – Gorilla Cookies Auto Pheno Hunt The first week is officially done and all 6 phenos are off to a strong start πŸ‘€πŸ”₯ So far the differences are still subtle, but a few plants are already showing unique traits in structure and growth speed. That’s exactly why I wanted to run this pheno hunt separately. πŸ“ˆ Current observations: Some phenos are growing more compact Others are stretching a bit faster already Leaf shapes and node spacing are starting to vary slightly Overall healthy growth across all 6 plants 🌱 Right now the goal is simple: Build strong roots, keep conditions stable, and let the genetics show themselves naturally. πŸ“Š Current environment: Temperature stable at 21Β°C Trying to consistently maintain around 60% humidity Light intensity adjusted for early veg Feeding kept light for now The next 1–2 weeks should start revealing much more noticeable differences between the phenos πŸ‘€ πŸ’¬ Which pheno are you guys watching closely already?

ThatsmyGrow Week 2 is now complete and the girls are starting to show their individuality πŸ‘€πŸ”₯ The environment has been very stable overall and growth has noticeably accelerated compared to the first week. Some phenos are already separating themselves from the others with clear differences in structure and development. πŸ“ˆ Current observations: Different leaf structures are becoming visible Some phenos are showing broader fan leaves, while others stay slimmer and more sativa-like Noticeable differences in plant size and growth speed already appearing Overall healthy and vigorous development across all 6 phenos 🌱 To improve light penetration and airflow, I also removed a few fan leaves on some plants so the lower branches can receive more direct light. πŸ’‘ Adjustments this week: Light intensity increased from 20% to 35% Temperature increased to around 26Β°C Humidity staying between 63–65% Continuously trying to maintain around 1.3 kPa VPD At this stage it’s getting really interesting to watch how each phenotype responds under the exact same conditions. The next weeks should reveal even more differences in vigor, structure, and overall expression πŸ‘€ πŸ’¬ Which pheno is standing out to you so far?

ThatsmyGrow 🌱 Week 3 – Gorilla Cookies Auto Pheno Hunt Another week down and the differences between the phenos are becoming more obvious every day πŸ‘€πŸ”₯ The environment stayed very stable this week with temperatures, humidity, and VPD remaining consistent. Because all plants are growing under the exact same conditions, it’s really interesting to see how differently each phenotype develops genetically. πŸ“ˆ Current observations: Several phenos are already reaching close to 30 cm in height Meanwhile, some smaller phenos β€” especially Pheno #6 β€” are still around 13 cm Leaf structure and overall plant shape continue to vary a lot between phenos Growth vigor is clearly different from plant to plant now πŸ’§ Feeding & maintenance: This week the plants received their first proper feeding with around 4 liters of nutrient water. Some phenos seem to react more sensitively to the nutrients, as a few plants are starting to show slight brown leaf tips, so I’ll keep a close eye on them over the next days πŸ‘€ I also removed more large fan leaves to improve light penetration and allow the lower branches to develop more evenly. πŸ“Š Current environment: Temperature stable around 26Β°C Humidity staying between 63–65% VPD maintained around 1.3 kPa Light intensity remaining at 35% Now I’m really curious to see when the first flowering signs will appear 🌸πŸ”₯ πŸ’¬ Which pheno would you pick so far?

ThatsmyGrow 🌸 Week 4 – Gorilla Cookies Auto Pheno Hunt Week 4 has officially started and all 6 phenos have entered flowering πŸ”₯🌸 Really happy to see every plant transitioning into bloom now. From this point on, things should get much more interesting because the differences between the phenos are becoming impossible to ignore. πŸ“ˆ Current observations: Several phenos are stretching hard since flowering started Some plants are already reaching heights of around 40 cm Growth patterns are becoming much clearer between each phenotype On the taller phenos you can already see that the first side branches are developing almost like additional main colas πŸ‘€ πŸ’§ Feeding & training: This week the plants received their first bloom nutrients following the Master Recipe. I also continued removing selected large fan leaves that were shading potential flower sites to improve light penetration and help lower branches develop more evenly. πŸ“Š Current environment: Temperature stable around 26Β°C Humidity remaining between 63–65% VPD holding around 1.3 kPa Light intensity unchanged Now the exciting phase begins β€” the next few weeks will probably be the most important ones to identify the strongest and most beautiful phenos in the hunt πŸ‘€πŸ”₯ πŸ’¬ Which pheno do you think will dominate once flower production really kicks in?

ThatsmyGrow 🌸 Week 5 – Gorilla Cookies Auto Pheno Hunt Another week is done and the differences between the phenos are becoming more obvious with every update πŸ‘€πŸ”₯ Now that flowering is progressing, each phenotype is starting to show its own character much more clearly. Even though all plants are running under the same conditions, their reactions are very different. πŸ“ˆ Current observations: Some phenos are handling irrigation and feeding extremely well and continue pushing strong growth Others are showing a bit more sensitivity and reacting differently to the same watering routine Leaf size differences are becoming huge now β€” some phenos are producing massive fan leaves while others stay much more compact Plant structure and overall vigor continue to separate more week by week At this point, 4 out of the 6 phenos are currently looking like strong candidates and fall into what I’d personally consider the β€œgood” category so far πŸ‘€ πŸƒ Maintenance & feeding: I’m still managing the canopy and keeping an eye on how each plant develops through early flower. Small adjustments and observation are becoming more important now as every pheno responds differently. πŸ“Š Current environment: Temperature stable around 26Β°C Relative humidity staying between 63–65% VPD maintained around 1.3 kPa Light intensity unchanged from previous adjustments Now I’m especially excited to see how the buds start forming over the next weeks, because that will probably decide which phenos really stand out in the end πŸ”₯🌸 The structure is there β€” now let’s see who delivers when it matters. πŸ’¬ Which pheno do you think will end up producing the best flowers?

ThatsmyGrow 🌸 Week 6 – Gorilla Cookies Auto Pheno Hunt Another week is in the books and the differences between the phenos are becoming impossible to ignore now πŸ‘€πŸ”₯ Stretch has been very different across the plants and some phenos are clearly showing completely different growth patterns despite running under the same conditions. It’s getting easier every week to identify which phenos stay compact and bushy and which ones want to reach for the sky. πŸ“ˆ Current observations: Pheno #3 and #4 have stretched aggressively and are now above 70 cm Pheno #5 took the lead and is currently sitting at around 101 cm πŸ‘€πŸ”₯ Pheno #1 and #6 are still in early flower / preflower and developing noticeably slower Plant architecture is becoming very clear now β€” some phenos are growing dense and bushy while others are showing strong vertical growth At this stage I already have clear favorites: ⭐ Pheno #4 and #5 are currently standing out the most for me in terms of structure, vigor, and overall development. But the real decision will come once the flowers fully build up. πŸƒ Maintenance & development: Canopy management continues and I’m still removing leaves only where necessary to improve light penetration and keep flower sites exposed. πŸ“Š Current environment: Temperature stable around 26Β°C Relative humidity sitting around 67–70% VPD target remains unchanged and is being monitored continuously Light intensity continues to increase gradually as flowering progresses The next weeks should become really exciting β€” structure is one thing, but now the buds will decide who becomes the real winner of this pheno hunt 🌸πŸ”₯ πŸ’¬ Which pheno would you bet on at this point?

ThatsmyGrow 🌸 Week 7 – Gorilla Cookies Auto Pheno Hunt Another week has passed and flowering is now in full swing across all 6 phenos πŸ‘€πŸ”₯ The differences between the plants continue to grow, and it’s becoming easier to see which phenos have the potential to become real standouts by harvest time. πŸ“ˆ Current observations: Pheno #1 and #6 have finally started to catch up and are now slowly building buds as well 🌸 Pheno #5 continues to dominate the tent and has stretched to an impressive 130 cm The flower development on Pheno #5 is especially promising, with some bud sites already suggesting the potential for 25 cm+ colas if everything continues as planned πŸ”₯ Pheno #2 and #6 are being overshadowed by the larger phenos and are clearly falling behind in overall size and vigor The structural differences between the phenos are now more obvious than ever, with some focusing on height while others remain more compact and bushy πŸ’‘ Environment & setup: The grow has now reached its current limits in terms of space and lighting: Light fixture raised to its maximum height Light intensity increased to 80% Summer temperatures pushing the tent up to around 32Β°C β˜€οΈ Relative humidity averaging around 67% Despite the higher temperatures, the plants are still pushing forward and stacking flowers nicely. The next few weeks will be all about bud development, density, and resin production. πŸ† At the moment, Pheno #5 is definitely demanding attention, but there is still plenty of time for surprises. Sometimes the biggest plant doesn't end up being the best one, and that's exactly what makes a pheno hunt so exciting. πŸ’¬ Which pheno do you think will come out on top when harvest day arrives?

@Tippo, I also think that pheno 4 and 5 will win the race, even though we'll still see some really big buds from pheno 1. I hope yours will be even healthier and bigger than mine
