I've started saturating the entire medium with water instead of keeping it around the middle of the root zone. The stalks are strengthening up nicely and I added a top dress feeding of nutrients into the medium at the end of week 4.

Did a top dress blend of dry nutrients at the start of week 5 for an early bloom feed. All 3 plants are coming along nicely.

They're really starting to stretch. I'll top dress feed it at the start of this coming week with bloom nutrients. No problems to report so far.

I worked the top portion of the medium by hand before each watering this week to ensure that last weeks top dress of dry blended nutrients weren't clumping. Im starting to see gradual bud growth and they are putting off a bit stronger of a smell. No deficiencies so far to report and now that the ladies are in bloom I'm excited to see how they'll progress.

This week went well. I started to give the three critical purps open sesame at week 4 then beastie blooms at week 7 and bembe at week 8 all from fox farm. The plants continue to stretch and show healthy bloom growth. There haven't been any nutrient issues on this set. This is my first time running dry nutrients and I'm finding that it's working nicely with a little help from some extra bloom nutrients in a weekly watering mix. Next week I'll cut out the beastie blooms and start using the cha ching. I'll likely do a final dry ammendment for a bloom feed at the end of this coming week in preperation for the final few weeks..

I've started to notice that one of the critical purps is really starting to swell up. While the other two are still trying to stretch. They're all doing well but 2 of them look to be a whole week behind the largest of the 3. I'm looking forward to final few weeks and I'm hoping to see some bud growth out of the slower growers this week.

This week I was really holding out hope for some healthy bud growth.. The two critical purple that seemed to be behind sure didn't disappoint this week. They started chunking right on up. And the one that was a little ahead on the bud growth has even started to amber on the pistols. Shes gonna have some nice looking nugs. I'm proud to report that the grow so far with what I've experienced the dry ammendment made bi weekly to the soil has been a stellar success. I will continue to experiment with them in the future. The smell coming from these 3 critical purple plants is real skunky now that the buds are producing more resin. They're getting awfully sticky as well. Things are looking really nice going into the final couple weeks. I'll be looking to see more healthy bud growth this week and hopefully a little more density.

So this week I've noticed my most mature critical purple plant has started to take on some purple color. Meanwhile the trichs are just starting to amber on that one as well. As for the other two thier doing really well. The buds are starting to swell up on those and even a few of the pistols are starting to amber. It wont be long before I'm cutting down the first one. I'll likely have to wait another week or more for the others. The smell coming from the tent this week has been absolutely amazing and I'm really looking forward to getting some pics up of some nice looking buds. I'm even more excited to smoke those buds. Lol stay tuned..

I harvested one of the three critical purple plants I have today. I've been flushing it all week and finally, today was the day I cut her down and moved her into the dry tent. I trimmed one nug to dry a little quicker so i could try it out because I'm impatient. Lol As for the other two.. well they are looking great I've moved them under they're own light for the remainder of the time they have. I'd guess that I have maybe another week. They're just now starting to cloud up pretty good but still no amber color after scoping them today. I dont foresee any issues with the rest of this set. These have been super easy to grow and they smell nice and potent. On my next post I'll have the dry weight from the first plant and I bit of a review on how she turned out.

These 3 plants didn't give me any trouble. I didn't have any deficiency issues and after about week 5 they really started taking off. I usually run liquid nutrients but the dry nutrients worked out well indoors.

I'm happy with the way these turned out. I just cut the 2 that I still had flushing after the last update. They're in the dry tent, hanging out for a few days before they get a final trim. I defoliated most of the large leafs and left the smaller ones with sugar on them so I could dry sift some hash. Overall these were a super easy grow. It's a good space filler for something quick. I also like the smoke. It's still undergoing the cure process but I've pulled some back to sample here and there. It looks like they'll average around 3 ounces per plant/dry trimmed under the setup I'm running. I'm happy with the results of the grow. I'll update things again once I've dried and trimmed the final two.. UPDATE> so I averaged around 3 ounces per plant. They all had thier own pheno. The first one is definitely more indica grew short and stacked. The second one was real stretched out and ended packing some fat buds on it that leaned a bit more towards the indica side as well. Plant number 3 had the most kief and by far the best taste. It was my in betweener and probably my favorite of the three.

are you running your carbon filtered exhaust back into the tent or is that an intake? Just curios because I'm unable to vent my exhaust out of the house so wondering what options there are. great looking grow!

@FieryFingers, what CO2 grow bags do you use? It seems like some brands may work better than others. I'm currently running a sugar fermentation, but the CO2 produced is scant I'd imagine (no way to measure it)

@PurpsInMyCloset, I use my own massive homemade exhaust hooked up to an AC Infinity. The homemade carbon filter I built can be found here: https://youtu.be/OrQW64Q3_3E. I tested it with a scented candle and it worked pretty damn well at killing the smell. I vent directly into my apartment as well, as I didn't want to be conspicuous, and the DIY Carbon Air Filter works well. Otherwise, you can probably pick one up on Amazon for ~$30. Cheers, and good luck! Also, air flow is very important in a grow. Generally speaking, you want your intake to be 3 times the size of the exhaust if you are not running an intake fan. Never run an exhaust back into the grow space, the air will get stale with oxygen and the plant will eventually lock up. In my set-up, I have a false bottom in my box (sucks because I lose valuable space) that's a 12 inch wall vent with a MERV and carbon filter. For the exhaust, I essentially have my fan almost hooked up directly to the carbon filter (pro tip, if you can avoid bends/turns in your aluminum venting it makes exhausting air more efficient, a/k/a saves electricity by running the fan lower) Ed Rosenthal's marijuana grow handbook is a pretty invaluable tool to have, along with this website I'm finding. Awesome community here 😁

@PurpsInMyCloset, I use CO2 bags in my home grow and vent out into a charcoal carbon filter. They're great for small personal grows.

looking like good stuff! I dont know much about the strain or the trichome production, but it looks like you could have waited another week before harvest. But we learn as we go when we grow. Happy growing 😃✌️
