I harvested one of the three critical purple plants I have today. I've been flushing it all week and finally, today was the day I cut her down and moved her into the dry tent. I trimmed one nug to dry a little quicker so i could try it out because I'm impatient. Lol
As for the other two.. well they are looking great I've moved them under they're own light for the remainder of the time they have. I'd guess that I have maybe another week. They're just now starting to cloud up pretty good but still no amber color after scoping them today. I dont foresee any issues with the rest of this set. These have been super easy to grow and they smell nice and potent. On my next post I'll have the dry weight from the first plant and I bit of a review on how she turned out.
Wow nice plants here man love the height and weight you tell she will and wants to put on lol ..the genetics of the plants are on point going to follow along nice grow..
You have a great turn out!!!! Keep them great pictures coming. I just order my magnifying adapter for my phone so I can start seeing the tricom colors.
Looking good can’t wait to see them things fattening up more I’m on the same week I’m finishing my 7 week right now will give my last feeding on week 5 of flower should give enough time to deplete by the time harvesting comes.
are you running your carbon filtered exhaust back into the tent or is that an intake? Just curios because I'm unable to vent my exhaust out of the house so wondering what options there are. great looking grow!
@FieryFingers, what CO2 grow bags do you use? It seems like some brands may work better than others. I'm currently running a sugar fermentation, but the CO2 produced is scant I'd imagine (no way to measure it)
@PurpsInMyCloset, I use my own massive homemade exhaust hooked up to an AC Infinity. The homemade carbon filter I built can be found here: https://youtu.be/OrQW64Q3_3E. I tested it with a scented candle and it worked pretty damn well at killing the smell. I vent directly into my apartment as well, as I didn't want to be conspicuous, and the DIY Carbon Air Filter works well. Otherwise, you can probably pick one up on Amazon for ~$30. Cheers, and good luck! Also, air flow is very important in a grow. Generally speaking, you want your intake to be 3 times the size of the exhaust if you are not running an intake fan. Never run an exhaust back into the grow space, the air will get stale with oxygen and the plant will eventually lock up. In my set-up, I have a false bottom in my box (sucks because I lose valuable space) that's a 12 inch wall vent with a MERV and carbon filter. For the exhaust, I essentially have my fan almost hooked up directly to the carbon filter (pro tip, if you can avoid bends/turns in your aluminum venting it makes exhausting air more efficient, a/k/a saves electricity by running the fan lower) Ed Rosenthal's marijuana grow handbook is a pretty invaluable tool to have, along with this website I'm finding. Awesome community here 😁
@NAG420, thanks. I've still got a little growing left to do with the other two but I'm really excited about how the first one turned out. I'll be starting a couple more sets here soon.
looking like good stuff!
I dont know much about the strain or the trichome production, but it looks like you could have waited another week before harvest.
But we learn as we go when we grow. Happy growing 😃✌️
