Sorry for the delay in uploading these! all from August 24th, Browning of leaves on the Sensi seems to have slowed down/stopped.

Grow Questions

NipplesMDstarted grow question 5 years ago
Do I need to feed liquid nutes during this grow? They're in soil which claims to be water only but recommended 7 gallons and they're in 3 gallon containers. Big plant has slight N toxicity on leaves. I have fox farm trio on hand, should I start 1/4 strength? Just big bloom? Wait?

@DrFriendlyFriend Hi mate No I would not add any more nutrients to what seems to already pretty hot soil your using especially if you have a nitrogen toxicity problem. I would continue feeding with plain water until the last 2 weeks of flowering and then you add a little molasses in with the water to help sweeten those buds Hope this answers your question mate

Sensi Skunk plant has browned, curled up tips at the top of the plant as well as yellowing lower, with brown spots appearing, Other plant in similar conditions seems fine. Temperature has been hot during day. I will ph water soon. I have fox farm trio. They have had water only.

Well they looked good for the longest time and then about two weeks ago it really kicked up ..I think the lack of nutrients is causing her to pull from all the other leaves and then add into the stress of being to close to the light causing brown tips first and then the drooping tips ,you should start cal mag for sure it is essential growing building block .. Some nutrients will do alot to help 1/4 fox farm and ya good luck on the ref of your grow..

I've chopped the plants, big one is whole plant and small one in branches. Is my 6" roof fan (seen week one) on "low" (1/3) enough ventilation if they're both hanging in the tent? I've turned off my circulation fan, should I put it on low underneath the buds? Humidity ~55

I typically leave them at 50% humidity for the first 2 days then increase the humidity to slow down the drying process to about 60%. As long as you have some air movement inside the tent you should be good. Running a small fan inside the tent is fine as long as it's not blowing directly on the hanging plants. Depending on the size/density of the buds usually a 7-10 day drying period is fine. I usually remove the smallest buds (4-5 days)then the med buds when they are dry enough and put them loosely in jars with a digital hygrometer. Goal is to get them down to 62% humidity then let them cure for 3 weeks then sample some buds. If the humidity is in the 64-67% range you can just leave the top off the jars for a couple of hours a few times a day. If they are over 67% to 70% you need to remove them from the jars and leave then out for several hours then put them back in the jars to see where you stand. Teflon baking pans work well for me. Once they are down to 62% and 1st week of curing I remove the tops from the jars 2- three times a week just to make sure they smell properly without any musky ammonia like odors. Weeks 2-3 I'll check them once or twice a week. If you wind up with low humidity under 62% you can get a clean cotton ball and wet it with distilled water then squeeze the excess out and add it to your jar for a few hours to bring the humidity back up then remove it. You can cut a small piece of aluminum foil for it to sit on. Hope this helps you will get ten different opinions on the best way to dry/cure your buds always do what works best for you.👍

Also I don't recommend u put a circulating fan in grow tent. It will dry your buds to fast. As long as there is air moving you are ok

@DrFriendlyfriend Hi mate Surprised nobody has answered your grow question I'm out for 3 months but I reckon it's majorly deficient in manganese potassium phosphorus etc But since your at week 6 of of a 7 to 8 week strain I wouldn't pump any nutes in but just feed it the molasses phd to 6.4 if you can right up until harvest

Looking good friend! I mainlined a Sensi Skunk and had to put her into flower at 9 weeks because she's such a robust grower! Glad to see it's just a SensiSkunk thing 😄 Good luck with that harvest. Happy growin' y'all! ✌️🌱🌲😎💨
