Germination

Burntjalepeno420 Let's start another one! Got this Northern Lights autoflower as a bonus from Herbies on my last order. I used my usual method which is a small opaque clamshell container with sponges on each side so when closed the seed is sandwiched between the two wet sponges.

Burntjalepeno420 Warm and bright as the cotyledons make way to the first sets of true leaves. Deliberate stress is encountered at a very young age, and as life progresses as will the stresses. Leaf surfaces catch a glimpse of additional red LED lighting, having her feel the need to stretch a bit to compete for light. She will benefit from this additional red for the first couple of weeks, as a squat autoflower tends to blanket the medium. Alyssum serves as her companion, showing as small green accents on the mediums surface. There will be no competition, only a harmonious relationship.

Burntjalepeno420 Going pretty strong into week 3. I've been pinning her down in a spiral fashion while tucking leaves when possible. She's responding well to the introduction of nutrients at bout 1/3rd strength so far. I'd like to get her closer to the light but with my other plants that's not possible without setting the pot on something to raise it up, which I don't like to do...
