Pipapole After a long germination phase of a whole 2 weeks, until the first 5-finger leaf was visible. Finally in the big pot, 12L BioBizz All Mix plus 20g lawn lime on 12L soil and mycorrhiza Trichoderma endomycorrhiza and ectomycorrhiza other spores below, 2L drainage layer made of expanded clay on top but only a very thin weed barrier so I can reclaim my expanded clay without much effort.

Pipapole Since I've gotten the impression that the 12-liter pots have become too small, I've decided to transplant into 3 x 20-liter pots and one 17-liter pot because I couldn't find another 20-liter bucket. Hardly three days later, the roots are already peeking out of the tops of the 20-liter pots. However, I don't want to start mulching because I'm going to initiate flowering in just about a week, and I don't want the extra moisture then.

Pipapole Today I noticed signs of a slight phosphorus deficiency on the leaves and stems, so I gave the half portion of flowering fertilizer plus Boost from Hessi for the first time. Since the flowering will be initiated in four days anyway, that's definitely not a bad idea.

Pipapole I actually wanted to be in flowering since yesterday, but since the front Mimosa on the left side is showing slight deficiency symptoms, I'm waiting a few more days. Today, a radical defoliation took place. With the seriotikas, I removed everything except for the top three leaf nodes, and with the seriosas, I left it at just under 4 leaf nodes. I hope it wasn't too extreme since the plants themselves aren't going to get too big.
Pipapole The stretch has really kicked in, I hope I can rely on the promise from Serious Seeds that the plants won't get bigger than a meter 😜

Pipapole Flowering week 3 is over, and you can really rely on Serious Seeds. The Seriotika haven't grown bigger than a meter; I'm now at just under 95 cm, and the plants are developing splendidly!
