IslandTerps Strain: Fast Buds – Purple Lemonade FF
Grow Type: Indoor
Pot Size: Plastic Shot cup
Medium: Peat Moss & Perlite
Nutrient Line: Athena
Germination Week
The seeds were started in water and opened up fast, showing taproots within the first 24 hours. After that, they were transferred into moist paper towels and left in a dark spot for a little longer so the roots could develop properly before planting.
Once the taproots had a good length to them, the seedlings were planted into plastic cups where they’re now getting established. Everything has been going well so far and the seedlings look healthy and happy. They’ll be transplanted into 1 gallon pots soon.
Looking forward to seeing these Purple Lemonade FF girls take off 🍋🔥

Week 1 Update
Both Plants are off to a smooth start so far. Seedlings are looking healthy, standing upright, and showing some nice early growth. Nothing much to report yet just letting them settle in and establish themselves before they really start taking off.
For now they’re still indoors in plastic cups, but the plan is to have them outside by week 2 once they’re a little more established. Looking forward to seeing how these girls handle the outdoor environment and what kind of colors they bring later on 🔥

Week 2 Update
The girls were transplanted outdoors this week into their 2 gallon pots and so far they seem to be settling in nicely. The mix was made up with Gaia Green and worm castings, and I also dusted the roots with Mykos WP during transplant to help with root development and reduce transplant stress.
I’m also trying something a little different this run 😅. I saw a video on YouTube about electroculture, so I wrapped some copper and stuck it into the soil to see if it actually does anything lol. No idea if it works or not, but figured why not experiment and have some fun with it.
So far the plants look healthy after transplant and don’t seem stressed. Looking forward to seeing how they respond outdoors over the next couple weeks.
