IslandTerps Strain: Zamnesia – Permanent Marker
Grow Type: Indoor
Pot Size: Plastic Shot Cup
Medium: Coco Coir & Perlite
Nutrient Line: Athena
Germination Week
The seed was first soaked in water and opened up fast, showing a healthy taproot within the first day. After that, it was transferred into a moist paper towel and left in a dark spot for the root to continue developing before planting.
Once the taproot had enough growth, the seedling was planted into a plastic shot cup where she’s currently starting off. Everything has been smooth so far and she’s looking good early on. She’ll be transplanted into a 1 gallon pot soon once she establishes herself a bit more.
Really looking forward to giving this strain another proper run, especially now that conditions are going to be much better this time around 🔥

Week 1 Update
She’s looking really nice for week 1 healthy, vibrant, and growing well so far. Pretty little plant already and she seems much happier this time around.
Everything has been smooth with no issues to report at this stage. I’m honestly really excited to run this strain again under better conditions because I know she has a lot more potential than what I got from the previous run. Looking forward to seeing how she develops this time 🔥

Week 2 Update
Permanent Marker is still in her cup for now and doing alright overall. Growth has been steady and she’s looking healthy with no issues showing at this stage. Nothing too crazy yet, but she’s moving along nicely.
I’ll definitely be transplanting her sometime this week so she can start expanding properly and really take off. Looking forward to seeing how she performs this run under much better conditions 🔥

Week 4 Update
We missed the week 3 update, but we're back for week 4 and things are going well. Since the last update, I topped this girl and she handled it pretty nicely. She's recovered well and is continuing to grow without any issues.
I've also made the switch over to an organic grow using Gaia Green, which is something a little different for me. Normally I stick to my Athena nutrients because I know exactly how they perform, so it'll be interesting to see how Permanent Marker responds to the organic route this time around.
So far she's doing great. Growth has been steady, she's looking healthy, and I'm genuinely curious to see how the end result compares to my usual feeding style. Sometimes it's fun to switch things up and experiment a little 🌿🔥
