IslandTerps Strain: Zamnesia β Permanent Marker
Grow Type: Indoor
Pot Size: Plastic Shot Cup
Medium: Coco Coir & Perlite
Nutrient Line: Athena
Germination Week
The seed was first soaked in water and opened up fast, showing a healthy taproot within the first day. After that, it was transferred into a moist paper towel and left in a dark spot for the root to continue developing before planting.
Once the taproot had enough growth, the seedling was planted into a plastic shot cup where sheβs currently starting off. Everything has been smooth so far and sheβs looking good early on. Sheβll be transplanted into a 1 gallon pot soon once she establishes herself a bit more.
Really looking forward to giving this strain another proper run, especially now that conditions are going to be much better this time around π₯

Week 1 Update
Sheβs looking really nice for week 1 healthy, vibrant, and growing well so far. Pretty little plant already and she seems much happier this time around.
Everything has been smooth with no issues to report at this stage. Iβm honestly really excited to run this strain again under better conditions because I know she has a lot more potential than what I got from the previous run. Looking forward to seeing how she develops this time π₯

Week 2 Update
Permanent Marker is still in her cup for now and doing alright overall. Growth has been steady and sheβs looking healthy with no issues showing at this stage. Nothing too crazy yet, but sheβs moving along nicely.
Iβll definitely be transplanting her sometime this week so she can start expanding properly and really take off. Looking forward to seeing how she performs this run under much better conditions π₯

Week 4 Update
We missed the week 3 update, but we're back for week 4 and things are going well. Since the last update, I topped this girl and she handled it pretty nicely. She's recovered well and is continuing to grow without any issues.
I've also made the switch over to an organic grow using Gaia Green, which is something a little different for me. Normally I stick to my Athena nutrients because I know exactly how they perform, so it'll be interesting to see how Permanent Marker responds to the organic route this time around.
So far she's doing great. Growth has been steady, she's looking healthy, and I'm genuinely curious to see how the end result compares to my usual feeding style. Sometimes it's fun to switch things up and experiment a little πΏπ₯

Week 11 Update
First off, I'd like to apologize for the long hiatus! It's been a hectic few weeks, but I'm happy to report that Permanent Marker has been doing great πΏ.
She's thriving and has continued to grow steadily. Over the past few weeks I've been training her and opening up the canopy to create a more even plant structure and improve light penetration. She's responded really well to the training and is shaping up nicely.
The plan is still to keep her in veg for quite a while longer. I want to build a strong, well branched plant before flipping her into flower, and so far she's heading in the right direction.
Overall, everything is going smoothly. She's healthy, showing no deficiencies, and responding well to the Athena. I'm excited to see how she develops over the next few weeks before it's time to flower πΏπ₯

Week 12 Update
I've been letting her grow out while continuing to work some of the branches outward, giving everything a chance to spread and fill in.
This coming week she'll be getting a good defoliation. Things are starting to get a little crowded through the middle, so I'll clean her up, open the canopy some more and continue positioning a few branches where I want them.
I'm really happy with how she's progressing, especially considering the little setbacks we had earlier in the grow. She's healthy, steadily putting on new growth and there are no deficiencies to report.
Still no rush to flip this girl either. I'm enjoying building her out and seeing what kind of structure we can create with the extra veg time. Let her cook ππΏπ₯
