Bubba Kush by Seedsman - DWC

StonedSage Flipping to flower today to ride out the stretch and fill the canopy. I've grown many things, but my wife loves the Bubba more than anything. First grow I did of it was off of a freebie seed from Seedsman. Had to re-buy it after to grow again. One of the best flavors and highs I have found.

StonedSage I love growing Bubba Kush! It is the most vigorous grower, super tolerant with ph drift. It can handle most abuse you throw at it and still come out looking great. All of the clones I started with were pretty ratty in the beginning. Something is sideways with my cloning process, but these plants survived anyways. Back plants are taking longer to establish than the front ones, but I'm going to ride the stretch process to better fill in the canopy. I will probably defol/lollipop tomorrow. Nutrient measurements are just stand ins since this site doesn't allow for weights. Actual measurements and in order: 1. Potassium Silicate Powder: .5g/gal 2. Part A: 3.6g/gal 3. Epsom Salt: 1g/gal 4. Part B: 2.4g/gal 5. Hydrogaurd: 2ml/gal

StonedSage I still have more defol to go, but I got through most of the front two already. Still need to lollipop and knock off more fan leaves though. We're definitely in the stretch! These plants are shaping up to look real nice.

StonedSage I think I'm in for a hefty volume of buds! This plant is stacking like crazy. This is actually like a week and a half progress from the last update. I'll do another incremental one here soon when it actually hits two weeks to get the numbers back on track.

StonedSage Another update just to get the weeks back in line with actuality. I love how much these plants are stacking up! Starting to get some terpenes coming through now too! If these get fat like the buds in my mother run diary, I should be looking at a solid haul!

StonedSage I messed up pretty big. I switched off all of my automations for taking photos and bumped the light to a low 3 to accommodate that. But I forgot to switch it back, so the humidity skyrocketed and the light was on for over 24 hours. I caught it the next evening and switched it back. I'll have to watch for herms and reveg. Right now this plant is struggling with the weight of the buds. Hopefully its stems can withstand the weight.

StonedSage The bud structure isn't looking awesome at this point. It looks like it's balling up in spots, but I don't think it's seeded? I haven't found any nanners. I think I had this worry the last time I ran bubba and everything was fine. That bubba smell is still present at least! Hopefully it fills out more in these last couple of weeks. That being said, these plants are already tipping over with the weight they have.

StonedSage I'm not sure how I missed it, but one of the plants partially seeded, which isn't awesome. Definitely going to kill off this pheno and try a different seed in the future. It's a shame because that great bubba smell, flavor and high are all there and I did harvest a decent weight. I didn't take pictures unfortunately outside of one on my phone. I mean I guess I could take photos of the grove bags, but that's kind of boring. Making this post to close out the journal because I forgot to before. I'll need to make sure my next grow diaries get the harvest shots.
