This is my first time ever growing pots . This plant showed some signs of stretching because the lighting was too far. I moved the light closer and this should stop the stretch. For this run I will be using Superbud nutrients from my local supplier and I am growing with my diy DWC cup temporarily . For my diy DWC small cup i inserted in an air stoned and supply oxygen 24/7.When she is bigger i am going to move her to a bigger bucket. For this stage i am not going to supply her any nutes yet since it is going to burn her .

This week i started to put small amount of normal AB hydroponics nutrients into the solution . These fertilizer weren’t designed for cannabis plants but i was using them while i await for the proper nutrients. I then ran into basic problems , such as the plant is getting insufficient amount of nutrients due to ph lock down . Possibly calcium deficiency or magnesium deficiency , after calibrated the ph everything went back to normal.

Nothing much for this week , this lady is developing huge fan leaves and i had to increase the amount of nutrient . SHE Is doing great!! Her stem was a little bit tough to LST because she was really big for her age. I DIY my own DWC temporary bucket for the new growing plant soon i will have to move her to a bigger bucket . After i LST the lower shoots are developing fast. The photo is responding to the LST very fast as you can see from the pictures which I circled in blue ,those are new shoots that have grown from exposed light. I also did a topping on the top of the plant .

Topping and LST this little beast , maybe i have overdone the LST bit haha. She recovered very fast from topping , it took about a week for the two shoots to grew . The stem was a little bit thick but not too stiff this is why my LST looked like i pull my whole plant down . The new shoots response to the LST super fast .Her root is growing white ,long , and healthy . When i woke up and check on her I saw a very clear development of her day by day. I am trying to monitor the temperature and humidity therefore I have to provide her an AC unit because it is very hot now in my country. Let’s hope this girl is going to grow into a masterpiece. XD

I tried to do too much lst and my DIY bucket wasn’t sturdy enough so the plant bended in the way I didn’t want it to be. Other than that , she is developing new collars everywhere can’t wait to see the end product! I DIY a DWC bucket by cleaning up the paint bucket and drilled holes for the air stone . At first i was a bit scared of root rotting but so far the plant has zero problem and she is growing strong and very healthy.

I tried to even out my canopy since my first attempt to LST was a mess. I tried to obtain the balance between the amount of branches on the left and on the right of the plant. The plant grew so fast that i had to LST 3 times a week. This lady responded very well to the LST the next morning the top bounced back up ,hopefully i don’t mess up too much . :X The smell has increased a little bit comparing to the weeks before but not too bad that i have to put 24/7 AC on .

My folk recommended me to use the Japanese organic product HB-101 , i bought it for around 30$ for a 100ml bottle (1ml per 10L of water), but trust me it was worth every penny . !!!! I wasn’t paid to advertise this product or anything !!!! At the very end of the week I can see that she is stretching soooo much and she bushes out very quickly . As you can see from the photos she grew very fast in only a few days , I don't really know if it was because of HB-101 or because it was going into the period of stretching .

At the beginning of this week ,I LST my plant because the light can’t penetrate through most of the new potential bud sites and the next morning this lady wowed me once again. I didn’t notice how much potential bud sites has and the speed she was growing is mind blowing . Only two days have passed since the LST , now she is bushy and messy again and unfortunately I’m away from home for a week (MY bro sending me daily photos of my baby but he has no knowledge of growing ,LST, or whatsoever ) . What concerns me the most is how huge and space taking she is , I really want to flip her into flowering right now but i just Topped her 3 days ago so i will have to wait for her to heal before i can move to the next phase.

Finally !!! I am back home and i cannot describe how frustrated I am . I asked my brother to took care of my plants and give him step by step guidance ... but he didn’t notice that my timer was broken. I was so frustrated because my plant stretched like crazy and everything looked so unorganized . I decided to use ScrOG method to even out my canopy , i am not quite comfortable using this method because i am so new to all these stuff . This is going to be my last vegging week and i am gradually switching her into flowering phase.

What can i do to lower my humidity level without a dehumidifier? And what range is appropriate for flowering.

humidity levels should also correlate with temperatures. So ideally 77 deg for temps at a RH of 55% for week 1-3 flower then weeks 4-5 lower to 50% and week 6 and so on lower to 40% if possible. You can build a DIY dehumidifier https://www.hunker.com/12206093/how-to-make-your-own-dehumidifier but you won't get your humidity as low as you'd want or even near below 50% RH unless it's very dry where you live. Hope this helps.

After i put a trellis on my lady ,she is once again beautifully organized . I did a bit of defoliation , a lot on lollipoping since the under canopy was quiet bushy and the air flow wasn’t really great. I switched the light to 12/12 and she is flowering by now . Her stretch is surreal she is 40 inch tall by now and it is only the first week of flowering . I really don’t know how tall she’s gonna get cuz my growing space is really limited . For my next run i am considering to by a grow tent since everything is much more easy to control and manipulate . So now imma wait patiently for her to grow (hopefully) big buds.

She has stretched 30cm in a week!!! I don’t know if this is the moment where i should feel happy about or not LOL. But my grow space is kinda limited and she has stretch so much it made my SCroG looked like it is the base of the plant. I bought a dehumidifier cuz i reckon the grow room was too humid for the plant during flowering phase but unfortunately i think the room is too big for the dehumidifier to work efficiently. The humidity is around 55-60 % which i think is a little bit too high but there is no better options . For the next grow i will have to invest on a new grow tent since growing in a room is kinda hard to manipulate the environment . By this week i cannot turn off my AC unit at all since the smell is very strong almost like i’m in a supermarket full of vegs .XD I put turn my AC and dehumidifier on full time and let’s hope that she stops the stretch before i run out of room!!

Wowww , i cannot believe that i have come this far , it is finally week 3 of flowering and 12 week of growing !!! I have been feeding her by following the feeding schedule . She is doing very good but i had to change my grow light to increase light exposure area since the old one cannot cover the whole plant . My new magnifying glass is superb it is very handy and cheap (I got it for 4$) . I prepared this for trichomes inspection . I encounter a bug problem in this week , i spotted a few red spider mites(not sure what they’re called XD) on the leaves but luckily i spot it fast and used an organic product to prevent it before the spread is uncontrollable . This kind of insect is very common in my area , the place i live is very dry and hot which they love . So i dropped my temperature down and mist the plants with local organic pesticide . I really do not wish to mist or increase the humidity during flowering because it can cause buds rot but i have to because I know that this kind of insect is super scary and hard to prevent . :(((( Anybody with better alternatives please give me some suggestions . Day 76: There is a lot of flowering going on but i can’t see any trichomes production yet . I think the mites are all gone but to prevent it i will continue spraying the organic pesticide every 3 days or once a week.

This is such a long week ! It has been raining heavily for 5 days (like non stop raining ) which causes the humidity in the room to rise and the temp dropped fast. Not so sure if the red stem was caused by the temp drop or not. The humidity level rose to 85% which worries me very much . Even the small dehumidifier doesn’t seem to help. This could potentially causes me more problems such as bus rotting . Let’s hope after the rain the RH is going back to normal. For this week really nothing much but i will have to increase the PPM level of the medium cuz i can see a lot of bud sites forming up but struggling to get dense LOL 😤😤 “BUT” i can’t adjust the PPM now because i broke my TDS meter by dropping it into the water . Silly me ! I want to give a piece of advice for you guys out there , NEVER buy a non waterproof TDS meter .Just think about it , the equipment is a water measurement tool but it is not waterproof . Trust me , just buy the waterproof ones so you don’t have to reinvest again 🚫🚫 **I am in week 4 of flowering is it weird that i can’t see any trichomes yet?**

So it has come to an end of the 5th week of flowering . In this week i changed my reservoir for the first time. I spend more time monitoring the change of the reservoir and found out that the ppm of it was higher than the initial value. When i premix the solution it was around 850ppm but when i added it to the medium within 2 days it jumped to 1300-1400 . That caused a slight nutes burn but it was very mild. The other thing i found out is that the ph tends to become lower when it is added to the medium , i found some deficiencies on the leaves and i knew immediately that my ph was messed up. There are three things that i don’t really understand what i did wrong . 1.The size of the buds , since it is the end of week 5 into flowering . The buds seems underdeveloped compared to others. 2. I can’t see any trichomes clearly yet (very few) 3.why do i have a lot of sugar leaves and lots of small buds instead of few big buds. 🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨

Hi, for me she looks like she would be in flower for 10 weeks longer, you have taken along flowering sativa... as it looks, those strains like to flower along time. But she looks healthy and good, ding a dwc in first grow is very brave. well if you ate patient let her bloom for at least 8 weeks longer..... then you will see buds trichomes anice smell etc...... flowering is only a a question of TIME..( here:8 weeks longer), Potsize ( the bigger the More) LIGHTS... ( only more light is more light in flower) Nutes( the right nutes give the plants the sign to flower.. for example a lower N than in vegetation..... and PATIENCE and ive been reading an articel that even sativas need alonger darkness cycle to flower successfull... give her one more hour darkness Greetings and for more explanation just hit me..

It has been 6 weeks of flowering , this week specifically I have seen a lot of changes in the buds development. The ph and the ppm level of the reservoir is fluctuating very much. The PH drops to around 5.3 and PPM was reaching 1800 . The best way to solve this is probably to add plain water into the reservoir to balance the PH and the PPM level. This lady sure loves to produce sugar leaves , i defoliate loads of leaves but the leafs doesn't seem to stop growing out from the buds. I decreased the amount of light per day , I am giving her 11.30 hours of light instead of 12 hrs . I checked light leaks again but still pretty sure that it is not the problem here . The nutes supplier told me to increase the ratio of Superbud blue bud and superbud orange bud so that it can enhance the bud development . This week i got some new nutes from my bro "Master Mine" which i will try out on my next run . PS . Sorry for the high light exposure in the video , i was playing around with my new DJI osmo pocket . Any ideas on how long she's going to take until she's done?

How was your week ! Mine has been awesome , the fact that the buds are gaining some weight and increasing their size is totally amusing. This week , the buds are getting a lot bigger compared to the recent week . She still loves to grow single blade leaves , by now i am really not sure if it’s the strain or the nutes that is making her producing so much sugar leaves instead of developing buds. The reason i am suspecting the nutes is because some of the leaves are showing signs of nitrogen toxicity (dark colour and droopy tips) . The ph of the reservoir is balanced now , she is drinking up water but the ppm is a little bit higher . I tried to give her plain water several times because i saw some burning tips (PPM around 1300-1500) . I use my 60x loop to inspect the trichomes , she seems to have loads of trichome and a few milky ones. So i really don’t know how long she will take but to me it seems like she is not even close to being done. BTW , check my last picture , i think there is something wrong with her . I spotted about 20 leaves which have this kind of burn , please help me indicate what is up.

It is 8 weeks in now . This colas are packing up some weights , but i'm not so happy about the density of the bud , they seem very airy to me .This might happen because the pheno looks so Sativa dominant . Everything seems fine but i still can't really wrap my head around the nute burn . I tried lowering my nute concentration ( 800 ppm ) but she doesn't seem to be happy anyways . The ppm in the reservoir still kicks up as high as 1800ppm and the ph drops to 5.3 - 5.5 . So this week i flushed her and going to feed her at 500ppm . This is so weird because she is so huge i thought she would appreciate lots of feeding but she hates the nute. She continue drinking 3-4 L of water per day but as i stated the ppm in the reservoir is so high , so i can conclude that she doesn't want to take in the food i'm feeding to her . I don't see crazy amount of trichomes but i wouldn't complain since this is my first grow . The trichs are turning more milky and some of the colas hairs are browning .I expect her to be flowering for at least 2 - 3 weeks before harvesting .

The nute burning carries on . This is so embarrassing , the leaves frizzled and burn . I lowered ppm to 500ppm but the burn still carry on. So i think i can’t fix anything now . I will be flushing next week because the spider mites are back again and i really don’t want to foliage spray too much . The pistils and the trichs look like she is going to be done in a week. Still she has very less trichs on her , not really happy about .I think i will be chopping her down by the end of week 10 .

At the beginning of this grow , i expected the plant to be on a very Indica side since that is what the breeder told me the strain was( Buddha tahoe x sensi star) . I then found out that this breeder is a complete fraud and also the plant was a very heavy sativa strain . I don’t really know what strain it is . I think i was the luckiest one growing his seeds (other people get either hermie or midget plants) . She doesn’t produce a lot of trichomes and her buds are covered with leaves . The only thing i like about her is the size of her . I can tell that she is poorly bred even this is my first grow , very disappointing but i guess i’ve learnt my lesson .

I flushed her for 4 days and give her 24 hrs of darkness before harvest . By that time her lower leaves are yellowing and the spider mites are still posing threat so i guess this it the right opportunity to cut this huge lady down. Thanks to my bro i was able to pre trim all the buds in 3 hrs . Doing this all alone would be a total pain in the ass . The wet weight of the buds stem is = 821 g , 29 oz The dried weight of this one lady is 137g which is not bad but is still disappointing for me , she is huge i could have gained more but overall it is okay :)). She has that mangoish and earthy smell which i really like . The high is more towards happy than a coach lock high . Some of this will be turned into tincture and will be for my dad personal use . Lets wait and cure this to see if it taste any better!

oumaan they look lovely.. in my experience changing nutes helps them in 3rd place. for such along flowering sativa only Patience and time help her the most. But yes hes right, in chnging the nutes she gets signals that flowering time has to be now and less growing.its nice that you recuced her light schedule. so we see us next week. Fluctuations in ph ( in the right range) are no problem . as long asyou ar in 5.5-6.5.. so all nutrients can be absorbed. but i think thats no news to you.. happy growing

@Mrs_Larimar, i don’t think i will change the nutes but i meant i will use the new nutes for the next grow. The light reduction really helps ! Visually the buds are fattening up. Thanks again!!

Going away is always tough on a grow. The plants still look good though and you can always top them if you want to make them shorter (just do it sooner then later). First grows we all tent to be more sensitive to try and get everything right. My first grow went horribly wrong, but looking back I think it was the best thing to happen to me because it showed me how resilient the plants were and how even a "bad crop" will produce. Don't be too stressed or tough on you brother/self, relax, have a spliff and enjoy the experience. I'm cheering for you!

@Tackle123, thanks, those a nice words to hear and I appreciate them. But I’ve honeslty been growing weed for less than a year. I’m a master of nothing on here. I’ve had a garden and green house for year but never weed before. But now that weed is legal... hell ya I’m gonna grow. I see the passion and attention in your diary. The magic to growing well is exactly that, passion and attention. You’ll get better and better each grow and advance quickly. Just try to relax a bit and enjoy yourself, otherwise you’ll just get frustrated and burn out of it. Glad to have you following, I hope I can entertain you a bit. 👊🏻

Hi, just let her flower around 8 weeks longer and give her one hour more darkness, that helps sativas to do a better bloom.. look for enough P+k and less N to give her the sign: hey its time for Flowring

@Mrs_Larimar, i will try to implement the method of giving less than 12 hours of lighting to her. BTW I am very use to DWC (growing cantaloupe) but not actually in growing cannabis . It is a little hard for a newbie like me , i hope i can manage :P. Thank you for the helpful information!

@Tackle123, Yeaaaa she will 😎. Depending on the strain of course, but I typically flip to flower when she is 1/3'rd the maximun height I have in my tent, typically 8-12 inches. Now each strain is different and some sativas stretch like crazy (moby dick i'm talking about you!) I flipped at 4.5 inches and is about 24 now haha.

@Tackle123,I hear ya I've read everything from heat stress or a leak in the darkness light getting through dark period ,genetics even light height and when I look at the history on your grow I'd would think genetics ..

@Cannibalgardens, thanks! I hope i can fix this as well . I also think strain might be the problem here because i don’t really know if the breeder is reliable or not LoL , but maybe the problem is me, let’s find out.

Looks gorgeous! I think green machine is right about the light leak either that or some other type of stress could have triggered a reveg because your getting leaves now with single tips. Take a look at my outdoor diary my leaves did the same thing as she revegged.

@Tackle123, no worries! From what I understand it won’t effect yield but could push you back a week or two

All my experiences with sensi star variety is they are late bulkers dont truley start swelling until week 8ish week 5 is to early for bulking on the strain! Also sensi star is a medium bud size yielder to begin with so usually wont get donkey dicks outta them! That's just how she grows stay patient she will bulk!
