zerozerofarms This time a run with cuttings from MannyT. I got the strain Sour Fraise from Messias Seeds. "Sour Fraise is an OG Fraise pheno of the OG Fraise F2, which consists of Watermelon Zkittles (Hemps'n'Herbs cut) x Milkbarn. The Milkbarn is a cross of The Creamery x Cali Sunset, where 'Cali Sunset' is a cross of Sunset Sherb and Blow Pops (from Envy Genetics). 'Sour Fraise' is an F2 and is a cross of the #4 OG Fraise pheno with the #10 OG Fraise pheno from the F1." "The note of the yogurt strawberry flavor, with slight blueberry [notes], varies in the spectrum during growth. This pheno also has a sour note, hence the pheno-specific name 'Sour Fraise' (sour strawberry)." - Messias Seeds

zerozerofarms This time a run with Sour Fraise from MannyT. The cuttings arrived in very good condition and were planted in their final pots after a short transition period. A nice vigorous strain with strong side branches. I'm still undecided on how I should train the little ones. So far, 4 have been topped and 5 will remain untopped for now. In 2-3 days, I'll switch to flowering as well.

zerozerofarms A few days ago, I switched to 12/12. The stretch hasn't started yet. So far, the plants look really good, and they're all the same height even though part of them was topped.

zerozerofarms Since I forgot that the stretch with cuttings isn't as strong, the plants are a bit smaller than expected, but there are still many beautiful flower sites. The buds are also starting to turn a little purple. So far, I'm very satisfied with the Sour Fraise cuttings. Really vital plants, but I find that the topped specimens have developed better since they have produced a bit more robust side branches.

zerozerofarms The plants have developed really well and smell super sweet. Actually, Under Canopy would be perfect here now, but the Secret Jardin bars are getting too warm for the temperatures ;-) The colors faded a bit due to the high heat, but they might come back again. And I will probably defoliate one more time.

zerozerofarms All the plants have developed really well here too. Only down below, the buds could be a bit bigger. That's why I've turned on Under Canopy on the days when it's not so warm, even though the lights don't do much. The smell is incredibly good, and the plants are also very thirsty.

zerozerofarms The grow is slowly coming to an end and there's only room for fertilizer one more time. Unfortunately, I had to remove a few small headbuds due to mold. I'm not particularly satisfied with the strain. The yield is too low and the ripening of the buds is also extremely uneven. I'm also not happy with the fertilizer since it neither increases my yield nor enhances the aroma, and as soon as the soil dries out a bit too much, the deficiencies appear. It all just depends on the genetics.

zerozerofarms Last update before the harvest. I would have liked to give it a bit more time, but with just over 50 flowering days, it's time. At the tops, about 20% amber, and the lower buds still need time, but the strain is too prone to mold. I've had to cut away about 10g of dry material by now. The summer climate is tough, but my VPD is around 1.4, so it's actually good.
