Springtime Veg Week 1: Day 1: the little ones are forming their next proper leaf pair. Hope it will be at least 3-fingered. I will start fertilizing a bit sometime this week. But for now, I'm leaving it be. I want to hit 10 cm first. Day 3: it's going well, you can almost watch the little ones grow. A little more every day. Day 6: the weather is getting noticeably wetter! The little ones are staying put, though. The three-finger leaves have grown well, and the next leaf pair is on the way. Hope they’ll be five-fingered. Today they got a mini sip of Root juice and activera for both. Next week, I’ll give them the first sip of Fish mix.

Springtime Week 2: So far, it's going quite well. Both plants are growing normally. Epsilon, however, has significantly more speed. The weather wasn't that great this week. And I discovered ants. I have no desire for them, they are infesting my plants with aphids. I will have to come up with something.

Springtime The week has continued to be humid, but it's going to get hot now... due to the wind, Milkyway has decided to start rolling the leaves to protect them from the wind. Epsilon was unimpressed by the wind. I spread coffee grounds and cinnamon around the plants. I hope to get rid of the ants and also that the pH level doesn't swing too much because of the coffee grounds... Oh yeah, I'm also applying leaf coat from Bio Buzz once a week now. I noticed brown spots on the leaves. And Epsilon has grown almost 10 cm. Will Milky catch up? We’ll see. Thanks for stopping by! Feel free to leave comments with ideas and suggestions. Edit: the week is over with today! Epsilon finished at 30 cm and is now in pre-flowering. If everything goes as planned, she should have cranked up to 60 cm by the end... we’ll see. Milky Way is releasing some initial scent nuances, but barely noticeable, and there’s nothing to see from the pre-flowering stage on my end so far.

Springtime Week 4: Preflowering! Looks like both plants are entering pre-flower. Milky is starting at 30cm, epsilon at 40cm this week. I'm curious to see how tall they'll be by the end of the week, because the stretch should be at its maximum this week. The weather for the first 2 days was hot and humid. I hope the humidity drops significantly in the coming weeks, otherwise, it's heavily at risk for bud rot…. Springtime Hello out there! So the two ladies have definitely entered the flowering stage now. Just in time for the weather to get unstable again, thunderstorms, rain, storms, scorching heat. On the positive side, the two are just accepting all the gifts from their cruel mother (Nature) so far and are handling it! They’re just standing outside and doing what they do… they probably won’t grow any further. This week, I’ll trim a few fan leaves so that all the buds are without contact to the leaves to prevent mold.

Springtime Hello everyone. Here are a few pictures from this week. All in all, it still looks good despite 3 days of rain, I think. I removed a few leaves so that more light can reach the buds and more air can circulate. Hope it helps and I didn't remove too much. Because I actually need every leaf due to the situation. With Milky Way, I left more on simply because it doesn't look as strong as Epsilon. The sugar leaves already look well-filled. But with Epsilon, it's noticeably better. I think it will be ready in probably 2-3 weeks. All in all: it's going well so far - please keep it up.

Springtime Hello out there! The ladies have received an automatic watering system. They now get something to drink at sunrise and sunset. 2 liters divided among 12 drippers means about 0.2 liters, and that’s twice a day per plant. Should be enough to keep them alive for 2 weeks and also to flush a bit. I fed them twice before my departure, and that was it. Hope everything goes well. Springtime Hello dear Growmis! After 2 weeks of vacation, I'm back. The last 2 weeks, the two ladies only had water from the automatic solar irrigation. And now they are actually done. Epsilon is completely in autumn, milkyway not quite yet. But it doesn't matter! They will be harvested tomorrow. They smell pretty strong now. It's going to be a tough trim with milky way... I got the drying box from Bonsanto. I hope it lives up to its promises and prevents the place from stinking while drying, and I hope it gets the moisture out. I'll keep you updated!

Springtime Trimmed wet, not weighed before drying. Once it's done, I'll check back in with the results. It smelled really strong during the harvest. I'm curious if the Bonsanto case is really worth it. Epsilon is hanging in the back half of the case. Springtime Trimmed wet and packed into the Bonsanto drying case to dry. Hoping to have less smell in the place. Which works at least partially. But as soon as the thing is open, it smells again... I think I need to tweak it a bit more - so I don't have to open it to check the humidity in the case, there must be something with Bluetooth or a measuring probe with a separate display. Maybe even just automatically controlled in the next step. But as a base, it's solid so far and reduces smell.
