WeefBellington Planted the seeds on 2026-05-23, both popped today. If you have seen my other diary, I'm hoping to avoid all the annoyances I had early grow. Last time I had to juggle space but should be good - I had peppers and other plants sharing a tent with my cannabis seedlings and they grew too quickly. I've emptied out the tent now so I've just got these guys in the tent with the XS1500 light, will veg them till my other grow is done then move them into the tent with the EVO3 for flower. This is my first coco grow so I might try and track watering and nutrients, but that also may be more effort than I care for. Substrate is Grow!T loose coco and sorry about the horrible photos, didn't realize how bad they were till I posted.

WeefBellington Sunday or Monday when I checked on the plants they both had big brown spots on them. I don't remember turning up the light, but I checked and it was at 40%, think I was blasting it too hard. Dropped down to 20% and raised it an inch or so. New growth is looking mostly good, maybe a bit of bleaching on the left plant but I'll keep monitoring.

WeefBellington Saddest 3 week olds I've had so far. New growth is looking okay and no more brown spots but whatever I did wrong seems to have stunted them pretty badly. Think they are on the right track now. I have been light on watering I think, did a big flush yesterday or day before with 1/4 strength nutrients at 5.8 ph. Weather here has been bonkers. I've turned up the light to 40% and raised it a bunch trying to raise the temperature a bit because it's been weirdly cold.

WeefBellington We are looking good now! I have been watering a little bit every day and it responded very well. On Monday leaves were extending past the cup rim so I potted up to one gallon pot. Seems to have taken well. Just upped the light to 60% tomorrow am going to increase the nutrient ratio. Not sure how often to water now that I'm in a bigger pot, this will definitely take a bit to get used to... maybe not for too long though. Already realizing that I hate hand watering in coco and dealing with so much runoff. If I can swing it before sale ends at the end of the month I'll grab autopots, which I've been curious about trying anyway. If not, guess I'll just have to find a more efficient way to deal with runoff.

WeefBellington Topped three days ago. Was planning on waiting a bit longer for recovery before potting up but the roots were growing out the bottom of one of the pots, so did that this morning. Bought an Autopot XL setup last week and grabbed the Airbase, so those are in there. Went with about 70/30 coco and perlite for the mix. Light is at 60% and 18" right now. Haven't set up the autopot yet, hopefully will find time this weekend. I know you're supposed to top water ten days but with how the roots are going I have a hard time picturing them needing that long to fill out...

WeefBellington Height is kind of meaningless now because I've started training the plants. Kinda wish I let them grow up more first before topping but oh well. Think I'll top again in the next couple days, was going to today but want them to grow out a wee bit more. Tested out the Autopot and it seems to work! Just gave it a run in the bathtub to see if I put it together right and no leaks. I need to rearrange things a bit before I set it up for real so that'll probably be this weekend. couldn't come soon enough, watering is killing me. I don't have a good way to deal with runoff and it's intense so I've been hauling them to the bath for a good watering when they need it. Am using 3.5ml cal mag, 3.5ml Floramicro and 7ml Florabloom.

WeefBellington Think I've moved from low stress to high stress training, but I'm not sure where the line is really. Autopot is on and I couldn't be happier. Everything seems to be working great. I don't have an EC meter so I'm not sure what to do with ph drift yet. Have had to adjust ph down twice, I'd assume at some point I would need to top up with distilled water or drain, but need to read more. All my topping had been done now, but I just went to adjust my training wire and snapped a branch. House is still asleep and I couldn't find any tape without banging about, so I tried some thin garden wire to tie it back and ended up snapping it right off. So, I cut that one way back and topped another branch to make up for it. we have been in a heat wave and the tent has hit 31C a couple days. When it's been that hot the plants smell crazy strong and fill the room (I don't have a filter in this tent). I think this weekend my other plants will be done drying and ready to trim, so if all goes to plan I'll tear everything down and move the plants to the other tent.

They look quite healthy and happy... interested in how you do with this strain. Best to you the rest of the way!
