Good Genetix - Permanent G

RemoveYourChains Week 1: Seedlings look healthy and strong. Repotted them from the germinating cubes to a mix of plagron lightmix (top 2/3) and batmix (bottom 1/3) They reached ~7.5cm by the end of this week. No nute, only PH adjusted water. Added a 100W vipar light on 25%. In a day or two, I'll transplant them into their final pots. So far so good. 😎

RemoveYourChains WEEK2: 21 days from planting the seeds. Transplanted them into their final pot (shared). Decided to put them into a fabric pot using about 200l of plagron batmix with added mycorrhiza at the roots. No visible stress occurred. They are bulking up well, node spacing is excellent, despite the sub-optimal conditions (low light, high temp all through the day). Within ~3 weeks they should have the whole grow room for themselves. Can't wait to see how they'll mature. 😍

RemoveYourChains WEEK 3: 28 days from seed. Nice pace of development. For a test, I broke the main stem of 2 plants. They recovered swiftly, and immediately triggered side branches to shoot out. I'll let one plant to grow naturally (with minimal steering using LST). Leaves are wide, signaling leaning more to the inidica side. Overall, temp and light conditions are still suboptimal.

RemoveYourChains WEEK 4: 35 days from seed. One of the sherbets got attacked by thrips and now the infestation spread to the PermanentGs. I removed ~3cm top-soil from all the pots. removed the most affected leaves from the sherbet and the permanent Gs...and ordered a truck load of blue sticky traps...allegedly these fuckers are attracted to the blue colour traps only... One of many reasons I dislike summer grows :D Otherwise, all plants have shown pistils by day 33. Broken plants stretched more, broke the main stem again on the same 2 plants on day 33. Didn't feed them anything yet. They seem to handle abuse and stress well. If I didn't HST 2 of them then growth would have been impressively identical. Hats off to Sebastian, these plants were thrown in the least optimal environment from high heat,, high humidity (32C/55%+), crowded space, shared pot, bad airflow low light, no feeding and a severe gnat and thrips infestation and they seem to weather the storm exceptionally. Interesting that only 1 sherbet and the permanent Gs got attacked only (so far).

RemoveYourChains WEEK 5: Day 42 from seed, 6th day of flower. This week the thrips infestation devastated a lot of leaves on the permanent G's too unfortunately. which resulted in all kinds of stress response. I have removed about half the fan leaves and the top soil, while waiting for the traps, which didn't arrive until the next week. Despite the suffering all 3 plants have started flowering on day 36.

RemoveYourChains Week 6: 13th day of flowering, 49 days from seed. Despite the setbacks development is ongoing. plants are already covered in trichomes, even the stems.. stretched a lot, bud site spacing is not bad, despite the low light. will be feeding low amounts of bloom nutes next week. The last sherbet will go down in a couple of days and perm Gs can have the room for themselves. I should have started this run about 2 weeks later.
