DogDoctorOfficial # Frosted Guava Auto by Zamnesia | Pheno B 🌱❄️
## Germination Week | Another Frosty Beginning
Hello GrowDiaries family! 👋🌱
Welcome to another new journey.
As some of you may have noticed, I've recently adjusted the way I document my grows. With the current photo limitations on GrowDiaries, each phenotype now receives its own dedicated diary rather than sharing a single journal with its sisters.
This allows me to continue documenting every stage of development while selecting the best photographs from each week and keeping everything organized from seed to harvest.
The goal remains exactly the same as always:
To create an honest, educational, and complete record while sharing observations, successes, lessons learned, and everything in between.
Today, we begin following Frosted Guava Auto Pheno B.
A sister to the previous phenotype, sharing the same roots but carrying her own unique story waiting to unfold.
---
## Two Sisters, Two Possibilities
One of the most interesting parts of growing multiple phenotypes is watching how similar plants begin their lives almost identically and then slowly reveal their differences over time.
At this stage, both Frosted Guava sisters are showing exactly what we hope to see:
Healthy germination.
Strong emergence.
Good vigor.
Healthy color.
A solid start.
But every grower knows that the real personality of a plant often appears later.
That is part of the reason I enjoy documenting each phenotype separately.
The similarities are interesting.
The differences are where the surprises usually hide.
For this run, we're following Frosted Guava Auto from Zamnesia Seeds, cultivated under a 12/12 from seed schedule from the very first day of life.
A method that is a little different from what most growers choose, but one that has become part of my own cultivation style over time.
Throughout this diary, I'll explain not only what I'm doing, but also why I'm doing it, allowing anyone interested to follow the process from beginning to end.
---
## Germination Using the Cannakan System
To begin this run, I once again used the Cannakan germination system.
For organizational purposes, the autoflower section of the project was germinated using my second Cannakan unit, while the photoperiod section used the first.
The methodology itself remained exactly the same.
Simple.
Organized.
Reliable.
The seed was placed inside using only plain water.
No nutrients.
No additives.
No stimulants.
Just water.
Within approximately 24 hours a healthy taproot had emerged and the seed was ready for planting.
Exactly what we hope to see from healthy genetics.
---
## Why Only Water?
One question that often appears during germination is:
"Why not feed the seed immediately?"
The answer remains simple.
The seed already contains everything required for its first stage of life.
Inside that shell are the energy reserves needed to establish roots and begin development.
At this stage, I prefer allowing the seed to use those natural reserves exactly as intended.
The objective is not to feed the plant.
The objective is simply to wake it up.
Water is enough.
Nature has already prepared the rest.
---
## Coco Starter Plugs
Like the rest of this project, the seed began life inside a coco starter plug.
The plug was fully hydrated and then gently squeezed to remove excess moisture while maintaining a healthy balance between water retention and oxygen availability.
Once germinated, the seed was carefully inserted into the plug and placed inside a humidity dome.
The dome remained useful for only a short period.
Within less than 24 hours the seedling had already emerged and was ready for the next step.
At that point, she was transplanted directly into a small container filled with Plagron Lightmix.
---
## Environmental Conditions
Environmental conditions remained intentionally simple and stable.
Temperatures stayed around 26–27°C.
Humidity was maintained between approximately 65–70% using a Spider Farmer humidifier.
Rather than keeping seedlings inside extremely humid conditions for extended periods, I prefer introducing them relatively early to the environment they will actually experience throughout their life cycle.
The objective is adaptation.
Not dependence.
Airflow remained extremely gentle.
Just enough movement to keep fresh air circulating without creating unnecessary stress.
---
## Lighting
Lighting during germination remained intentionally soft.
Young seedlings simply do not require intense light levels at this stage.
The goal is healthy establishment rather than rapid growth.
Once properly established, this girl will move under the Future Of Grow Black Series 600W full-spectrum LED system where the next stage of development begins.
For now, healthy roots and healthy growth remain the priorities.
---
## First Observations
Everything has progressed exactly as hoped so far.
Fast germination.
Healthy taproot.
Strong emergence.
Healthy color.
Good vigor.
And perhaps most importantly:
A healthy beginning.
At this stage every seedling remains an unwritten chapter.
A tiny plant carrying months of possibilities inside it.
That mystery is one of the reasons growing never stops being exciting.
---
## Looking Ahead
Over the coming weeks we'll follow Frosted Guava Auto Pheno B through every stage of development.
We'll document:
- Root establishment
- Early growth
- Environmental management
- Watering practices
- Structural development
- Flowering progression
- And whatever unique characteristics this phenotype chooses to reveal
Because every seed deserves the opportunity to tell its own story.
Huge thanks to Zamnesia Seeds for the genetics, Plagron for the substrate and nutrition, Future Of Grow for the lighting, and everyone following along for another seed-to-harvest adventure.

DogDoctorOfficial Frosted Guava Auto — Pheno B 🌱❄️
Week 1 Vegetation | Built for Speed
Hello GrowDiaries family! 👋🌱
Welcome back to the second Frosted Guava Auto phenotype.
After following Pheno A through a week of gradual improvement and steady recovery, it was impossible not to notice that her sister decided to take a slightly different approach.
Some plants spend the first week finding their rhythm.
This one seemed to arrive with a plan already prepared.
From the very beginning, Frosted Guava Pheno B displayed impressive vigor, excellent symmetry, and a growth rate that placed her among the most energetic young plants in the room.
And by the end of the week, she was already looking far older than her calendar age would suggest.
⸻
Establishing Strong Foundations
Like the rest of this project, Frosted Guava Auto Pheno B was transplanted directly into her final container filled with Plagron Lightmix.
The objective remains unchanged throughout the garden:
Allow the roots to establish themselves in their permanent home while avoiding unnecessary transplant stress later in life.
Environmental conditions remained stable throughout the week:
🌡️ Day temperature: 27°C
🌙 Night temperature: 25°C
💧 Relative humidity: 55%
⚡ Light schedule: 12/12 from seed
🌱 Plagron nutrient program
💡 Future Of Grow Black Series LED lighting
💨 Gentle airflow and stable environmental control
The environment provided consistency.
The plant provided the performance.
⸻
Fast Out of the Gate
Looking through the progression photographs, one thing becomes immediately obvious:
This phenotype wasted absolutely no time.
From the earliest days after emergence, growth remained consistent and vigorous.
Every new photo shows clear progression.
The first true leaves expanded rapidly.
New growth emerged continuously from the center.
The structure remained compact while still gaining size.
And the plant never really experienced the hesitation that some seedlings display during their establishment phase.
She simply kept moving forward.
⸻
Symmetry and Structure
One of the most attractive characteristics visible during Week 1 is the symmetry of development.
Looking at the overhead photographs, leaf pairs are forming evenly and the overall structure appears exceptionally balanced.
This kind of organization often makes future training and canopy development easier later in life.
Even at this early stage, the plant already displays a pleasing architecture.
Balanced.
Open.
Efficient.
And highly photogenic.
Sometimes certain phenotypes simply look “right” from the beginning.
This is one of those plants.
⸻
Beautiful Leaf Development
The leaf formation throughout the week was particularly impressive.
As the plant progressed, the leaves expanded rapidly while maintaining healthy color and strong definition.
The close-up photographs reveal clean growth tips, healthy development, and increasingly pronounced serration along the leaf margins.
By the end of the week, the plant was already displaying a canopy that looked considerably more mature than what many seedlings show at the same age.
The overall impression is one of confidence and momentum.
⸻
A Plant in a Hurry
Just like several of the other autoflowers in this run, Frosted Guava Pheno B appears eager to take advantage of every available day.
Autos often display this behavior.
With a naturally shorter life cycle, many of them prioritize rapid establishment and early growth.
This phenotype seems to fit that pattern perfectly.
Each new photograph suggests a plant that is focused entirely on one objective:
Grow.
And grow quickly.
⸻
Comparing the Sisters
Although both Frosted Guava phenotypes are healthy, the differences are already becoming visible.
Pheno A spent part of the week finding her footing before accelerating later on.
Pheno B appears to have skipped that stage almost entirely.
Her development remained consistently strong from start to finish.
Both plants look promising.
They’re simply expressing that promise in slightly different ways.
And that’s exactly what makes phenotype hunting so interesting.
⸻
First Impressions
At the end of Week 1, Frosted Guava Auto Pheno B leaves a very strong first impression.
Excellent vigor.
Beautiful symmetry.
Healthy color.
Rapid development.
And a structure that already hints at exciting potential for the weeks ahead.
Most importantly, she looks genuinely happy.
And happy plants tend to tell the best stories.
⸻
Looking Ahead
The foundation has now been established.
The roots are growing.
The canopy is forming.
And Frosted Guava Pheno B is already beginning to reveal her personality.
Will she maintain this pace?
Will she continue separating herself as one of the fastest-growing plants in the room?
And perhaps most importantly…
Will she eventually deliver the kind of terpene profile her name promises?
Looking at her development so far, I certainly wouldn’t bet against her.
For now, she remains one of the standout performers of Week 1.
And the journey is only beginning.
Huge thanks to Zamnesia Seeds for the genetics, Plagron for the substrate and nutrition, Future Of Grow for the lighting, and everyone following along on another seed-to-harvest adventure.

DogDoctorOfficial Frosted Guava Auto – Pheno B | Week 2 Vegetation
Hello everyone, and welcome back to another update from the 12/12 From Seed adventure.
Today we’re taking a closer look at Frosted Guava Auto Pheno B as she completes her second week of vegetative growth and continues establishing herself among the Zamnesia lineup.
One of the most enjoyable parts of documenting individual phenotypes is seeing how each plant expresses itself, even when grown side by side under identical conditions. While environmental factors remain consistent across the room, genetics always find ways to showcase unique personalities.
This week, Frosted Guava Pheno B demonstrated exactly why phenotype tracking is so rewarding.
From every angle, she presents the image of a healthy, vigorous young plant. Whether viewed from above, from the side, or through close-up inspection of the newest growth, the overall impression is one of balance, strength, and steady development.
The canopy has expanded noticeably throughout the week, with broad leaves efficiently capturing available light while maintaining a compact structure. Internodal spacing remains tight, helping create the kind of framework that often leads to strong branching and productive growth later in the cycle.
Looking down from above, the symmetry is particularly impressive.
Each new node appears neatly stacked above the previous one, creating a clean and organized structure that makes the plant both visually attractive and highly functional. The central growth tip is pushing forward rapidly, with fresh leaves emerging almost daily as the plant continues accelerating through early vegetation.
The newest growth deserves special attention.
The vibrant lime-green color visible at the center of the canopy is exactly what growers like to see during active growth phases. Young leaves naturally emerge lighter before maturing into the deeper green tones seen throughout the rest of the plant. This color transition is a sign of healthy development and ongoing cell expansion.
Perhaps the most encouraging observation this week is how comfortably the plant appears to be handling her feeding program.
Current nutrition remains consistent with the rest of the project:
• Plagron Terra Grow – 1.8 ml/L
• Plagron Pure Zym – 1 ml/L
• Plagron Sugar Royal – 1 ml/L
• Plagron Power Roots – 1 ml/L
Each component serves a specific role within the feeding strategy.
Terra Grow provides the primary nutrition required to support vigorous vegetative development, supplying the nitrogen and essential elements needed for leaf production and structural growth.
Power Roots focuses on root-zone development, encouraging the plant to invest energy below the surface where a healthy root system ultimately supports everything that happens above ground.
Pure Zym helps break down organic material within the substrate, improving nutrient availability and contributing to a healthier rhizosphere.
Sugar Royal is introduced early as part of the overall Plagron program, supporting plant metabolism while helping prepare the foundation for later flowering performance.
Together, these products create a balanced nutritional environment that allows the genetics to express themselves without excessive intervention.
Environmental conditions remained stable throughout the week:
• 12/12 lighting schedule from seed
• Day temperatures around 27°C
• Night temperatures around 25°C
• Relative humidity around 55%
• CO₂ approximately 600 ppm
• Solution temperature around 21°C
• Substrate temperature around 21°C
The consistency of these conditions continues to be one of the strongest assets of the project. Stable environments allow plants to focus energy on growth rather than adaptation, and Frosted Guava Pheno B is clearly taking advantage of that stability.
Another detail worth noting is the increasingly robust stem development visible near the center of the plant. As foliage expands and new nodes form, the stem continues thickening in response, building the support structure needed for future growth.
Everything about this week’s progression suggests a plant settling comfortably into her rhythm.
Healthy leaves.
Strong growth.
Balanced structure.
Excellent color.
And a clear sense of momentum heading into the coming weeks.
While it is still early in the journey, Frosted Guava Pheno B is already showing many of the characteristics growers hope to see during the foundation-building stage of a successful run.
For now, the goal remains simple:
Keep conditions stable.
Allow the roots to continue expanding.
Maintain a consistent feeding program.
And let the plant keep doing what she is already doing so well.
Overall, Week 2 was another excellent step forward and leaves plenty of reasons to be excited about what comes next.
Thank you to everyone following along, supporting the diary, sharing knowledge, and contributing to this amazing growing community.
A special thank you to Zamnesia for the genetics, Plagron for the nutrition, and to every grower documenting their own journey alongside us.
Until next week, growers love and happy growing everyone. 🌱💚
