DogDoctorOfficial # Frosted Guava Auto by Zamnesia | Pheno B 🌱❄️
## Germination Week | Another Frosty Beginning
Hello GrowDiaries family! 👋🌱
Welcome to another new journey.
As some of you may have noticed, I've recently adjusted the way I document my grows. With the current photo limitations on GrowDiaries, each phenotype now receives its own dedicated diary rather than sharing a single journal with its sisters.
This allows me to continue documenting every stage of development while selecting the best photographs from each week and keeping everything organized from seed to harvest.
The goal remains exactly the same as always:
To create an honest, educational, and complete record while sharing observations, successes, lessons learned, and everything in between.
Today, we begin following Frosted Guava Auto Pheno B.
A sister to the previous phenotype, sharing the same roots but carrying her own unique story waiting to unfold.
---
## Two Sisters, Two Possibilities
One of the most interesting parts of growing multiple phenotypes is watching how similar plants begin their lives almost identically and then slowly reveal their differences over time.
At this stage, both Frosted Guava sisters are showing exactly what we hope to see:
Healthy germination.
Strong emergence.
Good vigor.
Healthy color.
A solid start.
But every grower knows that the real personality of a plant often appears later.
That is part of the reason I enjoy documenting each phenotype separately.
The similarities are interesting.
The differences are where the surprises usually hide.
For this run, we're following Frosted Guava Auto from Zamnesia Seeds, cultivated under a 12/12 from seed schedule from the very first day of life.
A method that is a little different from what most growers choose, but one that has become part of my own cultivation style over time.
Throughout this diary, I'll explain not only what I'm doing, but also why I'm doing it, allowing anyone interested to follow the process from beginning to end.
---
## Germination Using the Cannakan System
To begin this run, I once again used the Cannakan germination system.
For organizational purposes, the autoflower section of the project was germinated using my second Cannakan unit, while the photoperiod section used the first.
The methodology itself remained exactly the same.
Simple.
Organized.
Reliable.
The seed was placed inside using only plain water.
No nutrients.
No additives.
No stimulants.
Just water.
Within approximately 24 hours a healthy taproot had emerged and the seed was ready for planting.
Exactly what we hope to see from healthy genetics.
---
## Why Only Water?
One question that often appears during germination is:
"Why not feed the seed immediately?"
The answer remains simple.
The seed already contains everything required for its first stage of life.
Inside that shell are the energy reserves needed to establish roots and begin development.
At this stage, I prefer allowing the seed to use those natural reserves exactly as intended.
The objective is not to feed the plant.
The objective is simply to wake it up.
Water is enough.
Nature has already prepared the rest.
---
## Coco Starter Plugs
Like the rest of this project, the seed began life inside a coco starter plug.
The plug was fully hydrated and then gently squeezed to remove excess moisture while maintaining a healthy balance between water retention and oxygen availability.
Once germinated, the seed was carefully inserted into the plug and placed inside a humidity dome.
The dome remained useful for only a short period.
Within less than 24 hours the seedling had already emerged and was ready for the next step.
At that point, she was transplanted directly into a small container filled with Plagron Lightmix.
---
## Environmental Conditions
Environmental conditions remained intentionally simple and stable.
Temperatures stayed around 26–27°C.
Humidity was maintained between approximately 65–70% using a Spider Farmer humidifier.
Rather than keeping seedlings inside extremely humid conditions for extended periods, I prefer introducing them relatively early to the environment they will actually experience throughout their life cycle.
The objective is adaptation.
Not dependence.
Airflow remained extremely gentle.
Just enough movement to keep fresh air circulating without creating unnecessary stress.
---
## Lighting
Lighting during germination remained intentionally soft.
Young seedlings simply do not require intense light levels at this stage.
The goal is healthy establishment rather than rapid growth.
Once properly established, this girl will move under the Future Of Grow Black Series 600W full-spectrum LED system where the next stage of development begins.
For now, healthy roots and healthy growth remain the priorities.
---
## First Observations
Everything has progressed exactly as hoped so far.
Fast germination.
Healthy taproot.
Strong emergence.
Healthy color.
Good vigor.
And perhaps most importantly:
A healthy beginning.
At this stage every seedling remains an unwritten chapter.
A tiny plant carrying months of possibilities inside it.
That mystery is one of the reasons growing never stops being exciting.
---
## Looking Ahead
Over the coming weeks we'll follow Frosted Guava Auto Pheno B through every stage of development.
We'll document:
- Root establishment
- Early growth
- Environmental management
- Watering practices
- Structural development
- Flowering progression
- And whatever unique characteristics this phenotype chooses to reveal
Because every seed deserves the opportunity to tell its own story.
Huge thanks to Zamnesia Seeds for the genetics, Plagron for the substrate and nutrition, Future Of Grow for the lighting, and everyone following along for another seed-to-harvest adventure.

DogDoctorOfficial Frosted Guava Auto — Pheno B 🌱❄️
Week 1 Vegetation | Built for Speed
Hello GrowDiaries family! 👋🌱
Welcome back to the second Frosted Guava Auto phenotype.
After following Pheno A through a week of gradual improvement and steady recovery, it was impossible not to notice that her sister decided to take a slightly different approach.
Some plants spend the first week finding their rhythm.
This one seemed to arrive with a plan already prepared.
From the very beginning, Frosted Guava Pheno B displayed impressive vigor, excellent symmetry, and a growth rate that placed her among the most energetic young plants in the room.
And by the end of the week, she was already looking far older than her calendar age would suggest.
⸻
Establishing Strong Foundations
Like the rest of this project, Frosted Guava Auto Pheno B was transplanted directly into her final container filled with Plagron Lightmix.
The objective remains unchanged throughout the garden:
Allow the roots to establish themselves in their permanent home while avoiding unnecessary transplant stress later in life.
Environmental conditions remained stable throughout the week:
🌡️ Day temperature: 27°C
🌙 Night temperature: 25°C
💧 Relative humidity: 55%
⚡ Light schedule: 12/12 from seed
🌱 Plagron nutrient program
💡 Future Of Grow Black Series LED lighting
💨 Gentle airflow and stable environmental control
The environment provided consistency.
The plant provided the performance.
⸻
Fast Out of the Gate
Looking through the progression photographs, one thing becomes immediately obvious:
This phenotype wasted absolutely no time.
From the earliest days after emergence, growth remained consistent and vigorous.
Every new photo shows clear progression.
The first true leaves expanded rapidly.
New growth emerged continuously from the center.
The structure remained compact while still gaining size.
And the plant never really experienced the hesitation that some seedlings display during their establishment phase.
She simply kept moving forward.
⸻
Symmetry and Structure
One of the most attractive characteristics visible during Week 1 is the symmetry of development.
Looking at the overhead photographs, leaf pairs are forming evenly and the overall structure appears exceptionally balanced.
This kind of organization often makes future training and canopy development easier later in life.
Even at this early stage, the plant already displays a pleasing architecture.
Balanced.
Open.
Efficient.
And highly photogenic.
Sometimes certain phenotypes simply look “right” from the beginning.
This is one of those plants.
⸻
Beautiful Leaf Development
The leaf formation throughout the week was particularly impressive.
As the plant progressed, the leaves expanded rapidly while maintaining healthy color and strong definition.
The close-up photographs reveal clean growth tips, healthy development, and increasingly pronounced serration along the leaf margins.
By the end of the week, the plant was already displaying a canopy that looked considerably more mature than what many seedlings show at the same age.
The overall impression is one of confidence and momentum.
⸻
A Plant in a Hurry
Just like several of the other autoflowers in this run, Frosted Guava Pheno B appears eager to take advantage of every available day.
Autos often display this behavior.
With a naturally shorter life cycle, many of them prioritize rapid establishment and early growth.
This phenotype seems to fit that pattern perfectly.
Each new photograph suggests a plant that is focused entirely on one objective:
Grow.
And grow quickly.
⸻
Comparing the Sisters
Although both Frosted Guava phenotypes are healthy, the differences are already becoming visible.
Pheno A spent part of the week finding her footing before accelerating later on.
Pheno B appears to have skipped that stage almost entirely.
Her development remained consistently strong from start to finish.
Both plants look promising.
They’re simply expressing that promise in slightly different ways.
And that’s exactly what makes phenotype hunting so interesting.
⸻
First Impressions
At the end of Week 1, Frosted Guava Auto Pheno B leaves a very strong first impression.
Excellent vigor.
Beautiful symmetry.
Healthy color.
Rapid development.
And a structure that already hints at exciting potential for the weeks ahead.
Most importantly, she looks genuinely happy.
And happy plants tend to tell the best stories.
⸻
Looking Ahead
The foundation has now been established.
The roots are growing.
The canopy is forming.
And Frosted Guava Pheno B is already beginning to reveal her personality.
Will she maintain this pace?
Will she continue separating herself as one of the fastest-growing plants in the room?
And perhaps most importantly…
Will she eventually deliver the kind of terpene profile her name promises?
Looking at her development so far, I certainly wouldn’t bet against her.
For now, she remains one of the standout performers of Week 1.
And the journey is only beginning.
Huge thanks to Zamnesia Seeds for the genetics, Plagron for the substrate and nutrition, Future Of Grow for the lighting, and everyone following along on another seed-to-harvest adventure.

DogDoctorOfficial Frosted Guava Auto – Pheno B | Week 2 Vegetation
Hello everyone, and welcome back to another update from the 12/12 From Seed adventure.
Today we’re taking a closer look at Frosted Guava Auto Pheno B as she completes her second week of vegetative growth and continues establishing herself among the Zamnesia lineup.
One of the most enjoyable parts of documenting individual phenotypes is seeing how each plant expresses itself, even when grown side by side under identical conditions. While environmental factors remain consistent across the room, genetics always find ways to showcase unique personalities.
This week, Frosted Guava Pheno B demonstrated exactly why phenotype tracking is so rewarding.
From every angle, she presents the image of a healthy, vigorous young plant. Whether viewed from above, from the side, or through close-up inspection of the newest growth, the overall impression is one of balance, strength, and steady development.
The canopy has expanded noticeably throughout the week, with broad leaves efficiently capturing available light while maintaining a compact structure. Internodal spacing remains tight, helping create the kind of framework that often leads to strong branching and productive growth later in the cycle.
Looking down from above, the symmetry is particularly impressive.
Each new node appears neatly stacked above the previous one, creating a clean and organized structure that makes the plant both visually attractive and highly functional. The central growth tip is pushing forward rapidly, with fresh leaves emerging almost daily as the plant continues accelerating through early vegetation.
The newest growth deserves special attention.
The vibrant lime-green color visible at the center of the canopy is exactly what growers like to see during active growth phases. Young leaves naturally emerge lighter before maturing into the deeper green tones seen throughout the rest of the plant. This color transition is a sign of healthy development and ongoing cell expansion.
Perhaps the most encouraging observation this week is how comfortably the plant appears to be handling her feeding program.
Current nutrition remains consistent with the rest of the project:
• Plagron Terra Grow – 1.8 ml/L
• Plagron Pure Zym – 1 ml/L
• Plagron Sugar Royal – 1 ml/L
• Plagron Power Roots – 1 ml/L
Each component serves a specific role within the feeding strategy.
Terra Grow provides the primary nutrition required to support vigorous vegetative development, supplying the nitrogen and essential elements needed for leaf production and structural growth.
Power Roots focuses on root-zone development, encouraging the plant to invest energy below the surface where a healthy root system ultimately supports everything that happens above ground.
Pure Zym helps break down organic material within the substrate, improving nutrient availability and contributing to a healthier rhizosphere.
Sugar Royal is introduced early as part of the overall Plagron program, supporting plant metabolism while helping prepare the foundation for later flowering performance.
Together, these products create a balanced nutritional environment that allows the genetics to express themselves without excessive intervention.
Environmental conditions remained stable throughout the week:
• 12/12 lighting schedule from seed
• Day temperatures around 27°C
• Night temperatures around 25°C
• Relative humidity around 55%
• CO₂ approximately 600 ppm
• Solution temperature around 21°C
• Substrate temperature around 21°C
The consistency of these conditions continues to be one of the strongest assets of the project. Stable environments allow plants to focus energy on growth rather than adaptation, and Frosted Guava Pheno B is clearly taking advantage of that stability.
Another detail worth noting is the increasingly robust stem development visible near the center of the plant. As foliage expands and new nodes form, the stem continues thickening in response, building the support structure needed for future growth.
Everything about this week’s progression suggests a plant settling comfortably into her rhythm.
Healthy leaves.
Strong growth.
Balanced structure.
Excellent color.
And a clear sense of momentum heading into the coming weeks.
While it is still early in the journey, Frosted Guava Pheno B is already showing many of the characteristics growers hope to see during the foundation-building stage of a successful run.
For now, the goal remains simple:
Keep conditions stable.
Allow the roots to continue expanding.
Maintain a consistent feeding program.
And let the plant keep doing what she is already doing so well.
Overall, Week 2 was another excellent step forward and leaves plenty of reasons to be excited about what comes next.
Thank you to everyone following along, supporting the diary, sharing knowledge, and contributing to this amazing growing community.
A special thank you to Zamnesia for the genetics, Plagron for the nutrition, and to every grower documenting their own journey alongside us.
Until next week, growers love and happy growing everyone. 🌱💚

DogDoctorOfficial 🌱 Folder 10B | Guava Auto
Week 2 – The Elegant Sister Begins to Stretch
Welcome back to another week of the 8×8 Adventure, where every phenotype receives its own individual diary, allowing us to appreciate the subtle differences that make each plant unique.
Meet Frosted Guava Auto 10B.
Although she shares exactly the same genetics, growing medium, feeding schedule and environmental conditions as her sister, she has already chosen her own path.
Where Plant A remained exceptionally compact, Plant B immediately showed a little more ambition toward vertical growth.
Not excessive.
Not uncontrolled.
Simply a slightly more open architecture that gives her a graceful appearance while still maintaining excellent structural balance.
This is exactly why pheno hunting is so rewarding.
Even sisters have their own personalities.
⸻
🌿 Growing Conditions
Every plant in this project grows under identical controlled conditions, allowing the genetics—not environmental differences—to shape each phenotype.
Environmental Conditions
* 🌡️ Day Temperature: 27°C
* 🌙 Night Temperature: 25°C
* 💧 Relative Humidity: 55%
* 🌱 Root Zone Temperature: 21°C
* 💦 Nutrient Solution Temperature: 20°C
* ⚡ EC: 1.3
* pH: 6.0
* 💨 CO₂: 666 ppm
* 💡 Light Schedule: 12/12 From Seed
* ? Pot Size: 15 Litres
The consistency inside the grow room continues to provide an ideal environment for comparing every individual phenotype fairly throughout the entire project.
⸻
🌿 Feeding Program
Throughout the week Guava Auto 10B continued receiving the complete Plagron Terra feeding schedule.
Weekly Feeding
* Terra Grow — 1.8 ml/L
* Power Roots — 1 ml/L
* Pure Zym — 1 ml/L
* Sugar Royal — 1 ml/L
* pH Plus — when required
* Lemon Kick — when required
The goal remains to encourage strong root development while supporting healthy vegetative growth before flowering begins to accelerate.
Healthy roots today become heavy flowers tomorrow.
⸻
🌱 Plant Development
Watching these two sisters side by side has been one of the highlights of this week.
From the first few days after transplant it became obvious that Plant B was expressing a different growth pattern.
Her internodal spacing is just a little wider.
The central stem continues extending steadily while producing beautifully symmetrical branches from every node.
She still remains compact compared with many autoflowers, but there is a noticeable elegance to her overall structure.
Rather than forming one dense cluster of leaves, she naturally creates a slightly more open canopy that allows light to penetrate deeper into the plant.
The result is a structure that feels balanced, relaxed and incredibly healthy.
Every photograph taken this week reflects that quiet confidence.
⸻
🌿 Training Progress
As with her sister, this week focused on gentle canopy management rather than aggressive manipulation.
Leaf tucking became part of the daily routine, exposing developing secondary branches and improving airflow throughout the centre of the plant.
A small amount of low-stress training encouraged the side branches to begin catching up with the main stem while preserving the plant’s naturally elegant architecture.
One thing quickly became apparent.
This phenotype almost seems to cooperate with the training.
She opens naturally.
She responds quickly.
She seems eager to build multiple flowering sites without needing much encouragement.
Sometimes a plant simply tells you how she wants to grow.
The best growers know when to listen.
⸻
📸 Behind This Week’s Photos
The photographs beautifully capture the difference between the two Guava sisters.
Early in the week, the camera highlights a strong central leader with perfectly healthy new growth and vibrant colour.
As the days pass, the overhead images reveal a wonderfully symmetrical arrangement of fan leaves, creating an almost star-shaped canopy.
The close-up macro shots show vigorous new shoots emerging confidently from each node, while the side profile demonstrates her slightly taller, more graceful posture compared with Plant A.
She isn’t trying to become oversized.
She’s simply expressing a little more vertical elegance while maintaining excellent balance.
The camera tells that story perfectly.
⸻
🌱 Looking Ahead
Next week should become particularly interesting.
With every new node, Plant B is creating more opportunities for lateral branching while continuing her gentle upward growth.
As low-stress training progresses, I expect those side branches to begin forming a beautifully even canopy capable of supporting numerous flowering sites.
Her slightly longer internodes may ultimately provide excellent light penetration during flower, reducing congestion while still maintaining impressive bud density.
She may not look identical to her sister.
But that’s exactly what makes her special.
Two sisters.
Two personalities.
One incredible genetic line.
⸻
💚 Thank You
Thank you for joining me for another chapter of this incredible journey.
Every week reminds me that growing isn’t about creating identical plants—it’s about discovering the unique personality hidden inside every single seed.
A heartfelt thank you to GrowDiaries for giving growers around the world a place to document, learn, inspire and celebrate this incredible hobby together.
A huge thank you to Plagron for providing the complete Terra nutrient line that continues to support this project with remarkable consistency from seed to harvest.

DogDoctorOfficial Folder 10 – Frosted Guava Auto B
Week 4 | Vegetation – The Quiet Climber
Welcome back to The 8×8 Adventure, a project where twelve unique cultivars are being grown side by side inside the same environment, allowing every genetic to express its own personality under identical conditions.
Each plant is documented individually because no two phenotypes tell the same story. Even when they share the same genetics, subtle differences in structure, vigor and flowering behaviour make every diary unique.
Frosted Guava Auto B is proving exactly that.
Although she shares the tent with her sister, she has developed her own character. Slightly taller, equally healthy, and every bit as determined, she’s entering the next chapter of her life with confidence. Our 12/12-from-seed journey continues, and this week marks another exciting milestone as the first signs of flowering begin to appear.
⸻
🌱 Week 4 – A Compact Plant With Her Own Personality
While Plant B has stretched just a little more than her sister, she remains a very compact autoflower compared to many of the other cultivars sharing this 8×8 room.
Instead of investing her energy into vertical growth, she has focused on producing tight internodal spacing, sturdy branches and a surprisingly balanced structure. Looking around the room, it’s already clear that Frosted Guava is unlikely to become one of the tallest ladies of the garden—but height has never been the goal.
Sometimes the smallest plants surprise us with the biggest harvests.
Her canopy is filling beautifully, each node producing healthy new growth that will soon become flowering sites. Every day she looks more organized, more symmetrical and more prepared for what comes next.
⸻
🌿 Gentle Training, Natural Development
Just like her sister, Plant B has only received gentle Low Stress Training throughout her early life.
Rather than forcing the plant into shape, I’ve focused on carefully bending large fan leaves, tucking foliage away from developing shoots and allowing natural light penetration into the centre of the canopy.
This subtle approach has encouraged multiple branches to grow evenly without creating unnecessary stress. The result is a plant that still looks completely natural while developing a much more open canopy.
Sometimes patience is the best training technique.
⸻
🌸 Pre-Flower Has Officially Begun
This week brings one of my favourite moments of every grow.
Tiny white pistils have started appearing throughout the upper nodes, confirming that Frosted Guava Auto B has officially entered the pre-flowering stage.
One of the most fascinating aspects of this 12/12-from-seed experiment is watching these autoflowers transition into bloom without hesitation. Rather than waiting for a long vegetative period, they simply follow their own internal clock.
Despite her compact size, she’s wasting no time. The foundation has been built, and now the real show is about to begin.
Over the coming weeks, I’ll be watching closely to see whether she delivers a modest stretch or stays true to her compact structure while focusing her energy on dense flower production.
Either way, she’s looking incredibly promising.
⸻
🌡️ Environmental Conditions
The room continues to provide a stable environment for all twelve cultivars despite the warmer summer temperatures.
Environment
• 🌡️ Day Temperature: 33°C
• 🌙 Night Temperature: 25°C
• 💧 Relative Humidity: 63%
• ? Substrate Temperature: 21°C
• 💦 Nutrient Solution Temperature: 26°C
• ⚗️ pH: 6.1
• ⚡ EC: 1.35 mS/cm
• ☁️ CO₂: 639 ppm
• 💧 Water Consumption: 1.1 litres per plant per day
Even with daytime temperatures reaching 33°C, Plant B continues showing excellent colour, strong leaf posture and vigorous growth, demonstrating how well she’s adapting to the environment.
⸻
Feeding Schedule
This week’s feeding remained simple and consistent, allowing the plant to continue building healthy vegetative growth before fully committing to flowering.
Per litre
• Terra Grow — 1.8 ml
• Power Roots — 1 ml
• Pure Zym — 1 ml
• Sugar Royal — 1 ml
Adjusted using:
• pH Plus — 0.03 ml
• Lemon Kick — 0.03 ml
The Plagron feeding programme continues delivering exactly what these plants need at this stage—healthy roots, lush green foliage and vigorous, stress-free development.
⸻
💡 Lighting
The entire 8×8 garden continues to thrive beneath the outstanding Future of Grow LED fixtures.
Uniform light distribution across the canopy has helped every cultivar develop evenly, while allowing each phenotype to express its own natural growth pattern.
It’s fascinating walking through the room and seeing twelve completely different personalities growing under exactly the same environmental conditions. Frosted Guava Auto B is a perfect example of how genetics shape the plant just as much as the environment.
⸻
🌱 Looking Ahead
Week four closes with Plant B looking healthy, balanced and full of potential.
She’s entering flower with strong branching, vibrant foliage and a structure that promises excellent light penetration throughout the canopy.
While some cultivars in the room are already showing more vertical ambition, Frosted Guava B seems determined to stay compact and focus her energy where it matters most.
The coming weeks will reveal whether this translates into dense, resin-packed flowers—but for now, she’s ticking every box.
The journey is only getting started.
⸻
🙏 Thank You
As always, thank you to everyone following The 8×8 Adventure. Sharing this project with growers from around the world is one of the most rewarding parts of the journey, and I truly appreciate every comment, question and piece of advice along the way.
A special thank you to Zamnesia for providing these exciting Frosted Guava Auto genetics, to Plagron for the trusted substrates and nutrient line that continue supporting healthy, vigorous growth, and to Future of Grow LED for delivering exceptional lighting that allows every phenotype in this room to perform at its very best.
Finally, thank you to GrowDiaries for giving this amazing community a place to learn, share experiences and celebrate our passion for growing together.
See you all next week, when Frosted Guava Auto B takes another step into flowering.
Until then…
