Fruitgrower Sorry about the late update, but I had a problem with my phone for a long while and lost the early pictures beforehand. Anyways here we go. These girls have been growing for a little over 3 weeks now, they've been topped today.

Fruitgrower Responded well to the topping, going to train these two tops and two side branches out on each plant

Fruitgrower 7.6 Technically the end of week 4, but I may have lost track a little.... Just trying to train these branches out to the side and then we're going to flip sometime within this week, I think. Judging by the other grows I've looked at in the competition, they all seem to be heavy stretchers (obviously I expected that with the contest being run by super sativa seeds, and most gassy strains are Sativa led and much less common here in the ,cough, UKb so I haven't really grown anything other than indica or 50/50 before) Anyway, all 5 are looking pretty healthy. 3 look quite Indica like with the fan leaves 1 looks a bit more sativa like And the other 1 has some strange white streaky colouring on the leaves, not sure what that would be considering they're all recieving a healthy feed in a healthy environment, if anyone can chime in on that, out would be appreciated of course. Maybe it's some kind of photosynthesis problem/mutation like albino or something?

Fruitgrower 2 nights into flower and already they've doubled in size, from what I've seen , this strain is a pure stretcher. Added the scrog net about a foot and a half above the plants. Each plant has 4 main colas. One plant is showing expressions of pink in the leaves and stems, picture below of the leaf. 14.6 Last day of the week (sort of). We're going to conclude the weeks diary on Sunday now instead of Tuesday, it's much easier for my brain that way. All looking well. I can't seem to find the (albeit very mildly) plant that had pinky expressions anymore, although two of them seem to have red streaks on the stems which the other three don't so we will see, I'm hoping there's enough space in here to grow these girls, hopefully the scrog will save my ass. There's some slight discolouration in a couple of leaves on only two plants, not sure why it what may have caused it, maybe spilt nutrients water(although it's a very mild solution). Started introducing nutrients now, (my soil/compost mix was super rich in nitrogen but seriously lacking in p and k) liquid for the moment, but I'm going to add a top dress of compost, worm castings, bone meal, root fusion powder, sulphate of potash and guano). This should mean I won't have to feed many more nutrients, I will however be adding the remainder of Plagron's green sensation and top max and bloom to maximise flower production at least for the first 3-6 weeks of flower, we will see, I have no idea how sativa leaning this strain will turn out, I'm under the impression they're all a kinda 50/50 or sativa like structure.

Fruitgrower Given them a big juicy feed, they're only needed watering once or twice every 7 days. Waiting for that stretch, structures look ok but I'll be doing a final lollipop in 2-3 weeks to focus on the above the net buds only. 17.6 And the stretch begins, I see the subtle but clear first signs of slightly less dark green in the growth tips appear. They've grown at least a cm or two in 24 hours. Canopy looking nice and even and I think it will all fill the net nicely. Took a few fan leaves from the litter portion of the plants and one or two that were on top shading. Still don't feel dry enough to water, time to give them an extra boost of nutrients in the next watering and see if they cope. I have added a top dress. 18.6 Added the mars hydro UV and IR combo lights, we'll see if they do make a difference. Still feel quite heavy, no need for water yet. Each cola has no more than 3 nodes on each, and there's a few side branches (single node branches) bit they may not name the cut , we'll see before a major defoliation in 10-15 days time. 21.6 Finally needed a watering, so gave them the same juicy feed. Stetching is good, not too lanky.... Yet Update Uhhhhhhh Just found man bits!

Fruitgrower 24.6 Pulled all 5 pants out to have a thorough look, confirm 2 are Hermies and 3 are female. Removed all the male flowers I could see on the two offending plants and pushed them to one side, will keep an eye on them over the next few days, but I'm thinking I'll just remove them. 25.6 Yeah, decided to pull the two Hermies out, although they probably would have crashed some bud, it's not worth risking the deterioration of the other 3 plants. My camera is pretty shit at close ups but you should be able to zoom in, you can see almost every node had both female and male flowers, almost equally. I think I've caught them early enough to have spread any viable pollen but I'm sure some have tried. Shame. I've decided to replace them with 3 other feminised seeds which I'll grow 12/12 alongside the remaining 3 gassy females. 27.6 Given them a lovely boost of good food. They haven't stretched nearly as much as I thought so I might have to bring the netting down and the light down, will check in a couple of days
