Just dropped 4 seeds into rockwool for my first DWC grow. Just plain tap water until the roots are long enough to reach the water. Can't wait to see the results!
After a slow start we are finally in the hydroton with nutes. New growth is looking strong and I hope to add more hydroton once she starts stretching a bit more.
She's growing up nicely in the DWC. I am seeing much faster growth than I expected and I think i will continue to use this method. The only issue I see is the three leaf pattern on the lower leaves. Maybe just a weird pheno or maybe the stress of rockwool? Hoping she doesnt herm on me.
Starting to see some stretching on the cream cookies DWC and she's starting to show pistils. She's also developing a slight odor which smells good and she'll probably in pre-flower next week.
This girl is stretching more than i'd actually like. She seems to be slowing down now that she's flowering so I am hoping she doesn't get too tall and crowd out my other plants. Upped the FloraBloom this week since she is starting to flower. Going to add KoolBloom and BudCandy and reduce the FloraGrow on Tuesday's reservoir change. Happy growing!
I was getting some clawing due to N excess so I changed up the nutrients and removed FloraGrow from the mix. I added Koolbloom and Bud Candy in this week's res change and the N excess seems to have been resolved. She's slowing down on her stretch so that's a relief. The DWC is turning out to produce HUGE plants and the CC in DWC is 4x the size of the CC in Soil. It's starting the smell amazing when I open the tent and I look forward to doing so every day.
Everything is going good with this girl. The N deficiency is completely gone and she's starting to get really frosty. I salivate every time I open the tent to stare at her. She's starting to stack nicely so hopefullys she'll produce some fat colas.
She drank almost all the water out of the res this week so I need to keep an eye on that. I'll probably give her supplamental water during the week now. Other than that, she's looking and smelling great! No nutrient issues at all and strong, frosty bud growth. Can't wait for her to finish.
Still seeing some decent growth. I check the trichomes when I changed the water tonight and they are still mostly clear so there is still some time to go yet. The smell is amazing and I can't wait to dry/cure/smoke this baby!
@SHAMMYDOG, tbh, i havent even been checking ppms.... I just follow the schedule i have written down and it seems to work for me. I know i should do better but that's what I am doing for now. :D
