This week humidity was a little high and had trouble controling it and keeping temps where i want them but i think i have a handle on that now. Also think she is getting some nutrient buildup in the soil so probably just going to use a light blend of botanicare with some microbe brew to help break down the salts in the soil. Also been throwing the mh light back in for a day or two each week. Seems to add a few extra trichomes. Also this clone unlike the origanal it came from really has a great scent, tropical fruity sweet scent which is odd considering the lsd it was cloned from had almost no smell until curing but no complaints about that. Its a little early to tell for sure but it looks like the clone did keep the incredibly dense flowers trait which is exactly what i hoed for. A few weeks ago i hit it with some pollen from a hermie auto flower russian rocket fuel so might end up with something great there if were lucky. Thanks for reading, good luck and happy growing ✌️ 😊 ✌️ 🚬
@DILLIGAF, I try to keep my soil around 6.5 but mix the nutrients up a little higher because my runoff is usually low. If i pour it in at 6.2 it comes out 5.5-5.9 im guessing from nute build up in the soil. Or because my soil is a little too acidic. Ive been told ocean forrest uses oyster shells to control ph and as they break down they make the soil more acidic, like peat moss.
@zedoninha, Ive been worried about that. Was hoping with all those tops she would gain height a little slowler like she was in veg but not sure now. Ill make her fit one way or another.
@CanaryGrow, i usually try to just cut the leaves that have grown to full size and start to reach further out away from the plants. I read that the leaves that grow from the stem use the sugars they produce for stem and root growth and the ones that grow from flower sights support flower growth. Ive also noticed that the chutes of my side branches reach up quite a bit and have more stem space on the buds, but if i cut the large fan leaves off at the base of the chute then the chute will not stretch as much and instead just grows fatter and denser with little to no stem space.
@bobthebudder, yes man i know and it makes sense to me, ibut i have a problem knowing what to actually cut off, i did a lot of training and i have many nice looking branches. I am thinking to wait for stretch to see easier what should i take away. Stretch jsut started today :)
@CanaryGrow, it does seem to help. I was paranoid about trying it at first but was told by several people it really helps because the plant can send more water and nutes to the bud plus more light to the lower buds. Tried it on my last grow and had denser buds than ever.
By the way i made a mistake this week (week 5) i forgot to change sugars from liters to gallons. I only 15ml of technoflora sugar daddy per galon not 50+
