Kali_flauer "Some silly sativas surviving a sweltering structure" is the original title I wanted, but it wouldn't fit the character limit π€·ββοΈ
That aside, welcome to my next indoor grow project! This time I am expanding my horizons and trying out some different breeders. So far no issues. I soaked the seeds for 12 hours in dechlorinated tap water, then transferred to wet paper towels on a heating pad. Neville's haze and Sour pebbles both had taproots showing by the time they moved to the paper towel, and Amnesia Z caught up about 12 hours later. Incredible to see all 3 germinate within 24 hours!
They are all placed in their final homes and I can't wait to see those little cotyledons sticking out in a few days π±. That's pretty much it for now. I'll update again when I have something to update. Thanks for checking this out, and have a bountiful harvest π€

Kali_flauer 06/12/26 - Day 1, week 1, and the start of a brand new chapter! Today, both Sour pebbles and Neville's haze poked their little heads above the substrate and saw light for the first time as a plant! Now we wait for just Amnesia Z and the party gets started for real!
The light is set at 36 inches and is at 50% power, giving these seedlings the gentle 120 PPFD they need at this stage. It will slowly grow in power as they do.
This is all I have to update for now. I'll be back once AZ shows her beautiful face π
06/13/26 - Day 2 of the journey and the day AZ said hello to the world π±. Happy to see everyone is up and at it!
06/16/26 - Just a quick midweek update with the girls' progress. NH and AZ seem to be healthy and progressing well, but SP had something damage her first true leaves. It's just the tips, but I know that every inch counts when autos are this little. I think she will pull through alright, but only time will tell!
This is likely my only other update this week. I'll continue with their progress next week. Thank you for checking out this diary, and have a great grow π€

Kali_flauer 06/19/26 - Day 8 from germination and the start of week 2.
It's hard to believe it's been a week already! Despite some setbacks, I think that all 3 of them are doing well for day 8.
Okay mostly just 1 setback, Thrips π€¬
They are somehow already back in the grow room after being completely eliminated during my last grow. I didn't have any plants in there for over 3 weeks, so I think it must have to do with the plants I have growing in soil. Those are for something very different π.
My plan for all 3 of these ladies is to top them (hopefully by the end of week 3). They will all likely need it in order to keep an even canopy. I thankfully have virtually unlimited space above me, but it's still better to try and keep them low and wide as best I can.
06/23/26 - 12 days from germ and a quick update!
All 3 of my lovely gals seem to be progressing nicely. I'm sure the thrips slowed some progress, but even with some visible damage, everyone seems ok.
SP already seems to stand out amongst her sisters. Despite having the toughest start, she is already almost a full inch taller. Definitely gonna have some fun height issues with her!
That's it for now, thank you for checking out this diary, have a good one π€

Kali_flauer 06/26/26 - 15 days from germ and the start of week 3.
Welcome and hello fellow growers and lovers of these beautiful plants!
So far so good, the ladies are all on track for day 15. Everything is looking good for the real training to begin by either the end of this week or the start of the next.
The only difficulty this week has been managing VPD. It is uncharacteristically cold for June right now, but it's still dry AF and my garage eventually heats up under direct sunlight. Humidity is consistently around 55%-60%, but even with a humidifier I can't seem to get it above 60%RH for when temps do spike a little.
The thrip issue has been dealt with. No fresh damage or live thrips have been discovered in the last 6 days, so I think that is a good enough sign πͺ.
I have a very crowded grow area right now, but many of these are about to go outside for another project π. I'm thinking about potentially starting a staggered grow in a few weeks once these bonus plants get put outside, but I'm not entirely sure yet. I have another trip planned in a few months, and unfortunately that is going to prevent me from starting another indoor grow at this end of this one.
That's it for right now, I'll update again this week with a midweek progress update. Thank you for checking this diary out! Happy growing dudes π€
06/29/26 - quick update! Sour Pebbles was absolutely demanding that I top her before her sisters, so I obliged π. She got a little haircut and will hopefully grow out a little more bushy. So far the other 2 will hopefully grow enough to get a haircut, but right now they are still looking a little short. We'll check them out again in a few days.

It's crazy to me that we are already almost at the flowering stretch! All 3 girls have been topped. Neville's haze was done this morning, and good lord what an ordeal! I had to use my loupe to make sure I wasn't cutting off her new main branches! She is so short and stocky, it is reminding me of Purple Lemonade from my previous indoor grow. She was absolutely a sativa wearing the disguise of an indica plant, and I believe NH is going to reveal herself the same. If I remember correctly, Purple Lemonade was something like 6 or 7 inches tall pre-stretch and finished at 28 inches tall. Regardless, all 3 have great structure to them, albeit at slightly different planes. I think their heights will be manageable with the help of stools and chairs to level their canopies out.
Also, the thrips are back. Not overwhelming so, but I've been picking one of them off a plant maybe once a day or every other day.
The girls are also filling out their pots nicely and have started to increase their water intake. I didn't include this in the update, but last week was the first time I felt it was safe to saturate the entire media. Prior to that, I was actually getting small bits of moss (or something else green) growing in the coco that was not a plant and definitely not cannabis. It was just a few small areas in each pot, so clearing it out was as simple as letting the top layer dryback between waterings.
Thank you for following this diary! Hope you dudes all have a great grow ππ€

Kali_flauer 07/10/26 - 29 days from germination and the start of week 5.
Hello and welcome back to another exciting summer update! I think it's safe to say we are officially in the flowering stage. All 3 ladies have preflowers forming and I can feel that the stretch is imminent. SP actually might have just started her stretch today, as there are several secondary branches that seemed to have developed a lot since my last check up.
Speaking of Sour Pebbles, she has about 16 colas taking shape πͺ Absolutely the standout of the group so far. I'm still a little concerned she will be much taller than the other 2, but I can help fix that by having the pots resting on various platforms. Each of the 3 is still forming a nice even canopy at least π.
I also did some light defoliation, just enough to expose a few budsites covered by leaves. I plan on lollipopping them more than I have in the past with previous grows. Even if they aren't all showing it yet, I'm expecting some big and tall ladies!
Thank you as always for checking this diary out! I will have another update later this week with their progress. Have a great grow π€

Kali_flauer 07/17/26 - week 6.
It is the Sour Pebbles show! I can't even keep track of how many colas she has growing πͺ. I cannot wait to see the end result from her. The others are doing great as well, just not quite to the same level. They are all drinking enough for me to saturate their medium +10% runoff every ~36 hours or so. They all should have a little bit more room to stretch out now that I have the fems from my breeding diary outside. Now it's all about maintaining their health in this heat, and keeping pollen out of the grow area.
Hopefully I'll have time for a midweek update. Real life has been busy and I'd love to show off their progress as their stretch is fully maximized! Thank you for checking this out, and have a great grow π€
07/21/26 - midweek update. I'll just let the last group photo do the talking. The girls are growing πͺ and SP is so well branched, she looks like a candelabra tree π
Also, while defoliating the girls, I found an 8-fingered fan leaf on NH! I didn't cut it off just for good luck, it was blocking about 3 bud sites from getting light. She is really starting to impress me. I honestly didn't have any expectations for her out of the 3, but if I had to give them premature rankings, I would honestly go SPNHAZ. This surprises me, as Fastbuds strains have all been solid for me thus far π€·ββοΈ

Kali_flauer 07/24/26 - Week 7.
I don't have time for a full update, but this is how the girls look right now. Absolutely crushing it π€. I put some more detail in tomorrow π±
Ok, it's the 25th now and I'm not a few inches from folding over and dying from exhaustion π .
AZ is still staying short and is messing my space up! She just does not want to stretch for some reason. She might do a last second rug pull like purple lemonade in my last indoor diary and double in height out of nowhere. Definitely didn't expect the Fastbuds genetics to be the one creating problems for me lol.
SP is my beautiful little candelabra tree and is stealing the show π. She is still chugging water like crazy and doesn't seem to have any issues.
NH has also been a pleasant surprise and has gained quite a bit of height in her stretch! The only issue I see with her is her flowering speed seems to be much slower than the other 2. She is also VERY leafy and will need more defoliation in the next week or 2. Continuing to hope for the best with no pollen exposure π.
Thank you for checking out this diary! Have a great grow π€
