LeosLivingSoil Supa Slick Shore is a cross between Shore MDC F1 and Supa Swag MDC / Purple Haze. 80% of the plants show normal leaf growth, while the remaining 20% exhibit morphological features like fern leaves, duckfoot, or deeply serrated leaves. It is said to combine old school Haze with deep soap notes in terms of aroma.
It is recommended more for experienced growers and phenohunters, as it shows a certain risk of hermaphroditism under stress when grown indoors.
This is partly due to the genetics, but mainly because it is simply a very dominant and male variety that can only be handled by real men.
I'm going to test it out a bit and stress it; I hope it doesn't beat me up and steal my milk money. If it doesn't, I plan to select and stabilize it over a few generations. The resulting strain will be called "SSS," no longer SupaSlickShore but SeniorSeniorSenior, and it will be able to participate in the XGames. 😂 In the future, it will also be used for crosses to bring a bit of washed old man into other lines. :D

LeosLivingSoil The week was quiet, the next photos are a few weeks later because I had quite a lot to do. I definitely left them in the mini pots for about 3 or 4 weeks, 2 died. One because the glass cover fell over and broke the stem :c:D the other fell out of my hand and landed upside down, also breaking the stem : Well, there were only 4 left...

LeosLivingSoil To stress them further, I put one in the moss pot where the Green Crack was first and then the Blue Sushi stood :D Unfortunately, it's quite nutrient-poor due to the consecutive plantings, as you can see from the fern, but I thought it fits well for the stress test :D Oh, and there were 2 males, really lucky that one was still there and then even 2 :3 I kept the best or the prettiest one, it's the one with the super jagged leaves :O I planted that one and the others in 14 L pots with my fresh LeosLivingSoil and put 2 outside, the male and one female, to see how that goes :o
By the way, these are also 2 weeks in photo-wise, I just noticed that 😅

LeosLivingSoil I somehow didn't take any pictures when they went into flowering 😅 But here are pictures from 2 weeks ago, in front of my Butter's box is the last surviving male of its kind, and yeah, the other two are the females. I still need to take a picture of the one in the clay pot; I haven't done that yet :o But none of the females have shown any signs of hermaphroditism, not even the one in the mentioned clay pot, even though the stem has turned really red :D must be because of the poor soil :0

LeosLivingSoil I don't even know where to start, the strain is really awesome, I love the leaf shape of the male plant. Unfortunately, the first pollen sacs opened while I was in Berlin, but I was still able to collect some with a new brush and a jar. Now I'm waiting a few days for the other pollen sacs.

LeosLivingSoil This week was great, I have now pollinated the first plant.
Actually, I wanted to cross the super cool male with serrated leaves with the super pretty outdoor phenotype of Chemie.
But then I remembered that this strain is supposed to be stress-sensitive indoors and has a hermie risk indoors.
And as luck would have it, I have a very stressed indoor phenotype that smells extremely like a pine forest and shows no hermie signs despite the stress.
So I decided to pollinate that one to pass on the stress resistance to the next generation.
But that also means that I will now fertilize my moss pot with manure starting from the 3rd flowering week of the 3rd follow-up plant, just to make sure the plant is doing well again and the seeds will be of good quality :3
I would almost like to avoid digging up and adding new soil because I’m a massive fan of the pot :D
Well, everything else is calm, this time I’m labeling the pictures :o
Oh, and regarding the size, the thing is that the outdoor variant is significantly taller than the indoor variant with nutrient deficiencies, so I’m only giving one value even though it’s confusing :o

LeosLivingSoil The week was very nice, the pollination was successful and the first seed pods are starting to form :3
The size is tricky, the one outside is about 1.80m and the one inside is about 0.70m :o
I poured some nettle manure on the pollinated one, I think I'll dissolve some seabird guano in water and water it briefly, I don't have any fertilizer and then I'll add some new bacteria with a bit of soil from my giant pot :o
In the pictures, you can clearly see the difference between pollinated flowers and unpollinated ones; the ones with the white fresh hairs are still unpollinated, while the ones that are retracting and turning brown and where the mini buds are swelling are the pollinated ones :o

LeosLivingSoil I've tried to seal the outdoor SupaSlickShore, but it's getting really tricky haha, especially since the outdoor plant just started flowering a few days ago, so the stretch should still be coming... I checked some photos, and it's been growing for 4 months 😂 I'm really excited to see what comes out of it. TeamSupaElNino lol
I think I'll place a few stones around the pot so it doesn't tip over; it's just a 14L pot haha :D
No fertilizing, just my soil and tap water from outside :3
Oh, and the pollinated one is acting up a bit right now, the evening primrose-like plants have grown back, and I thought it was fine, but they're not friends, so I cut them back again today :0 and I didn't pour any water with seabird guano on it because I was afraid of killing them or something, I'll buy nettle or comfrey tea soon and use manure for the moss pot this time because I need it :0

LeosLivingSoil the one outside has tipped forward because they are only 14L pots and they have grown quite large ..:D I’ve now turned the pots upside down and secured them with jute string at a canopy hole, I’ve laid them multiple times and padded them so they don’t cut into the plant :o
with these crazy temperatures, I have to water them at least 3 times a day or the leaves droop totally :D
The clay pot plant is also almost done, I’m really excited about the seeds haha but I still haven’t thrown anything fertilizing on, I think I’ll finally get the manure today and see if it helps for the last week:o

LeosLivingSoil I'm curious if the lady outside will survive the beginning of winter. I once had a TangieGhostTrain that I had in a similar spot, and it didn't survive the harsh autumn. The buds kept hitting the gutter, and they turned really moldy, black, and knobby. So, I had to do an emergency cut in week 4 of flowering, which was such a shame because it had a lot of potential :c..
I hope that doesn't happen with the Supa Slick Shore, but I'm skeptical :D. The one indoors needs at least another week or two, which would make it a good 10 weeks of flowering.
I can only hope for a Supa El Nino and that it stays warm longer so maybe something will come of it, but early November will be critical haha :D. But anyway, it's still a very exciting experiment whether it wants to die or not; it was fun :D. It would be epic if the stretch comes later; that would be wild :D.
Oh, and she's already getting purple stripes on the stems, so she definitely has a lot of anthocyanins from the purple haze heritage and smells really fresh and spartan :D.
